The hotel complex is fantastic. The room was very large and clean. The dishes and cutlery in the kitchen were in very good condition and clean. The shower was good too. The pool area is very nice. The pool was great too. The location of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast offering was also very good. A large selection of food and everything freshly prepared. The only thing is that there is no room cleaning offered during your stay. We were there 2 nights. We really liked it. We would go there again in a heartbeat.
Rooms: Very large rooms with a balcony or terrace. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom.
Nearby activities: Good location for various sights. Hotel has gym, tennis courts and pool. At the neighboring hotel you can use the whirlpool and pool. There is a Starbucks there in the hotel.
Safety: Very safe area and hotel good locking arrangements.
Food and drinks: Breakfast buffet freshly prepared and delicious. Coffee and water available all day.

We traveled almost 800 miles round-trip from Northern California to stay here, selected for its excellent accessibility to Acrisure Arena, Rancho Mirage Dog Park, CostCo and everything Palm Desert-Palm Springs has to offer. To be honest, it's all about the four-legged kids. I cannot say enough great things about Marriott Bonvoy Residence Inn on Cook Street in Palm Desert, California. It's just one of those places you want to keep close to your heart. As an old-timer with two canine kids in tow, Motel 6 and La Quinta have been our Go-To's for fifty years...but the kindness of the caring staff (thank you Bernie), excellent proximity to Acrisure Arena, comfortable rooms (luxurious after fifty years at pet-friendly M6), excellent breakfast, and wonderful walking grounds has endeared us to this quiet, seemingly non-descript property. For those who want to lay back after miles of travel, there is an Applebee's on-site. It is a lovely home away from home, made more so by a caring staff.

This was our first Mariott Bonvoy member stay and I couldn't be happier. A hundred stars, but Google will only allow five. Thank you.

Food and drinks: Breakfast: excellent coffee; hot omelettes; jalapeño-egg muffins; ham and egg croissants; scrambled eggs; an assortment of bagels to be toasted; fruit, yogurt...

Loud crowds outside until the wee hours of the morning. Nothing was done to quiet them. Travelers need sleep. Won't stay there again

Rooms: The rooms are big ..but nasty... bathroom was dirty... pillows smelled nasty .. curtains dirty .. kitchen section was a disappointment...sink nasty...no pods..no coffee mugs it was just a disappointment. Oh ..and the pool was dirty and smelled really nasty ?

Really cool desert property with lots of charm. Great parking. Some rooms on 2nd floor with stairs. It's an older property., probably remodeled 10 years ago. Carpet looks tired. Beds with flimsy covers - many of the things you expect at a Residence weren't there - extra bedding in the closet, laundry bags, dry cleaning slips were all missing.
Desk staff were awesome. Had a cool patio with table and chairs.
I requested a late 1PM checkout when checking in, which is guaranteed with my status. Housekeeping was banging on my door at 11:30, and when I opened it and told them I had a late checkout, they pointed to my name on a piece of paper which had an 11AM checkout. So I got ready in a hurry and left. Another housekeeper returned 15 minutes later to again tell me to leave. Rude.
The blinds in my room were literally torn to shreds and let light through which was a problem since we were on the ground floor. Never had breakfast so have no idea about that.
They were running what looked like a tennis camp in the morning, so if you don't like the sound of tennis don't stay by the courts.
Could be a 5 star property with better housekeeping. Keeping the shredded blinds in the room is unforgivable - see the photos.

Honestly Luke at the front desk has no idea how to speak to a customer without being rude & yelling. He doesn’t deserve to be the front desk of such a nice hotel. If it were me I’d fire him. Makes me not want to stay here anymore

Room in horrific condition. Dark stains on the carpet in multiple spaces. Looks like dried up blood. Looks like someone had already slept in the bed and sheets weren’t changed. Don’t stay here!!!!

Paid extra for a golf course view and instead got a view of the backside of bushes. Too many hotel choices in Palm Desert I won’t be back here.

I had an enjoyable stay for Coachella weekend 2. The room was spacious, practical, and clean. The gym was also very spacious and clean. Didn’t use the pool but it was a sparkling blue and adults were using it throughout the day. Housekeeping was always on site and nearby. The breakfast options weren’t bad just typical breakfast foods and clean dining area. Will definitely go back for future festivals.
