Made the mistake of leaving without getting his name, but the man with short curly hair, piercings, and tattoos was phenomenal, to say the least. Mind you, he stopped midway through my haircut to assist another employee and I still wanted to leave a 5 star review. He is a leader who just happens to be a talented hairdresser and this location is extremely lucky to have him.

Extremely disappointed! Sunday I went to Super Cuts to get my base color done. They stylist Diane was pleasant. She brought me the color hair swatches to try to match my base color which is auburn. She has done my hair before but did not remember the color used. Neither did I. Since she was the professional I pretty much left it up to her to choose the appropiate color. She did the color and when she was finished blew the top dry. I noticed she was looking at the top of my head and looked a bit puzzled. She then said to me " maybe should have used a darker color". I came home and did not wash my hair until the following day and blew it dry. I noticed the roots in certain places were not even. A little gray showing, and it looked like all the roots would definately show within a week. I called Super Cuts the manager Rosa was not there but returned my call today. She is a nice girl and knows that I have been a customer for about a year. She told me that if I came in within the week they would redo the color and fix it. I was very happy with that. Then an hour of so later she called me back and after speaking to her manager, maybe owner, proceeded to tell me that because "WE" changed the color would not be able to redo it and would not refund the $79.00 I spent. "WE?" I questioned, you are the professionals and I come to you to pick the color that is going to blend the best! I don't know anything about hair, dye, colors. So the point is, the manager on the first phone call told me to come in, and after speaking to her boss, or whoever she was changed her story and said it was not their policy and they have rules to follow! She really made me feel bad, almost like I was trying to get something for nothing! I felt humiliated. I have never been treated this way as a customer! I totally understand rules, but once in a while rules are made to be bent or broken to accomodate a good customer who lives in the Sun City neighborhood next door. All I asked for was to have my color corrected and touched up. It would have taken less then ten minutes. I urge you to think twice before going to Super Cuts in Sun City Palm Desert!!! By the way, there happens to be a lovely salon directly across the parking lot in the same center that do incredible work! Everyone there is so nice and their prices are less! Not to mention, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Check it out......
