I do NOT recommend this Wells Fargo bank. When I was FINALLY told that this branch could not accommodate even though it's MY money. .. . I decided to go to a different Wells Fargo bank and found competent people there. This branch has proved to be incompetent from bank tellers to management. Deal with these people at your own risk.

I can't believe how rudely I was treated at the El Paseo Branch in Palm Desert. Just some background many years ago I was a manager for Wells Fargo so needless to say I have always been very loyal. I currently have numerous accounts with this bank and also many many thousands of shares of their stock. I am very close to leaving this bank that I have been with for over 50 year. I went into the El Paseo Branch to open another account, and was told that they don't have time for me and I need to set up an appointment. There was maybe 2 people in the branch at the time. When I stated that I need to open another account due to an error that they made, again I was told they don't have time for me. When I inquired about closing accounts, again I was told I have to make an appointment when they have time. When I stated that I also have numerous accounts at Chase and will just go there, I was told yea-do what ever you want. I'm sorry I drove an SUV today and left the Bentley at home, so I guess I'm not very important. I would highly recommend that regional management look into this branch, because their customer service is terrible..........

Consistent with other poor reviews, last week, I left Jennifer Pyle (Wells Fargo, Palm Desert) two voicemail messages, in addition to sending her an e-mail; I have not yet received a response. This is not my first substandard experience with Jennifer. I have been a private banking customer of Wells Fargo for close to two decades. Due to the lack of basic customer service at this location in the desert, I plan to pull my funds from Wells Fargo, and develop a relationship with a different bank. I have to say, the broker on site at Wells Fargo (Palm Desert), Marc Smith, is terrific, but unfortunately, Jennifer has tarnished the relationship, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If you’re a person of color please do not go to this location. The branch manager Mathew discriminates people who are of color. Wells Fargo should be ashamed for having people who are racist working for them. Yes, I’m using the race card because the way he treated us was beyond discrimination and unprofessional. He treated everyone who was none color like royalty and as soon as I tried to speak to him he was rude, short with words like if we didn’t understand, rolled his eyes at my question, he was disrespectful, and dismissive.I felt like he treated us unfairly compared to other none color clients. I called him out that I was being targeted by him and he laughed. I would never recommend this branch to anyone who’s of color because the staff makes you feel like you don’t belong. This manager made it impossible to open an account or cash a check trying to initiate that he didn’t trust the check. Furthermore, he wasted my time by telling me to bring additional information, so I did I returned with government issued stamped dated id and documentation. Moreover, I knew he was discriminating against us when I decided to drive to Indio to the other Wells Fargo where they accepted all my documents, cashed my check, and opened an account. That was the confirmation that this manager Mathew and teller were being prejudiced, and discriminated us for being of color. AVOID THIS LOCATION IF YOU'RE BROWN!!!

So I cashed a check from a client well being shorted already then 5 days later they reversed my check then charged me the reversal fee wich put me in a bad spot then kept adding charges. Being I went in and cashed it not mobile deposit i feel they shouldn't have reversed it. Being a loyal customer for about ten years then this happend . Note to self gotta go with a credit union this time

I moved my accounts from another bank to Wells Fargo because I was a customer of Wells Fargo years ago. My problem is a problem I should not have to go through. Everyttime day, night middle of night, I'm given the excuse as follows: ONLINE BANKING IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLETEMPORARILY, i've been trying to get into my account for 3 weeks. No matter daytime, night time, middle of the night, 3:00AM?? Makes no difference. I contacted my bank and I was told a complaint was put in. GREAT, a complaint was put in. The sad thing is I really like the Wells Fargo location and the people working there are very very nice.

I love banking here because the service is always so quick and efficient. The staff are very friendly and they remember your name. They always have a bottle of water to offer you. I recommend this bank to anyone.
