More like 2.5 stars. Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Palm Springs & Joshua Tree NP. The room and hotel are outdated and did not look like the posted pictures. Some outlets in the room were worn out; one had a metal object protruding from it and another was low voltage and didn’t charge a laptop. The towels in the room were small and some were stained. The bedsheet was also stained when we checked in and has to ask housekeeping for a new bedsheet. The breakfast was good. Variety of options and the lady working the breakfast area was attentive in refilling the food.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Staying at Best Western Inn at Palm Springs was the WORST Best Western hotel I've ever been in! My fiancé booked this with Booking.com!! First the breakfast gal was 15 minutes late 7:15am unfriendly and cranky!! Nothing was ready and I asked her to at least get the waffles maker turned on she refused while she was sitting down doing nothing. Then she blocked us from getting bacon because she wanted whole space. Breakfast preparer AND unfriendly when I first walked in she was sitting down doing nothing and I smiled and said god morning she frowned not wanting to be there! It was a very cold day we had to sit outside! I've never been to a Best Western where breakfast was outside when it was very cold so breakfast turned cold very fast by the time she finally got up unhappily started breakfast while 8 of us were waiting!! Lastly the reception did not print out a receipt! I asked my fiancé to go in again and get a receipt! The only thing good to say about this place is the room was very clean. Don't Stay Here says me and my fiancé Les Alluisi!! No carts for heavy luggage

I wish there was an option for zero because I find it difficult to even give it one star. It is an extremely old property so much of it is dingy and outdated, i.e. popcorn ceilings. The elevator is inconveniently located, towels were extremely dingy and gross. No complimentary bottles of water. And our room was quite a distance from the office, which was the only place to obtain a bottle of water unless you wanted to "go across the street to the liquor store," which is what the rude and totally disinterested person working the front desk said. Would never have chosen this place if it had not been dark and we were extremely tired. Would absolutely never choose it again. I would rather sleep in my car!

This morning I find a long black hair on ceiling next to shower while showering. Took video and showed the person at front desk before I wandered to pool for hot water for my tea. Came back to my room and housekeeper was with management exiting my room and asking why my husband said there’s nothing wrong.I’ve never had a hotel manager tell me to show housekeepers their own lack of detail or mistakes. It’s the second time staying here and likely the last. Also it’s 815 am Saturday morning. My hubby has a hangover. But please come bang on the door demanding to see the problem your staff allowed in the first place. I showed your manager video; why does the housekeeper need me to point this out?I’m not on your housekeeping staff. Stop treating me like I need to help you fix your mistakes before breakfast. The free breakfast is one of the reasons we like coming here; but free hair on ceiling from prior guests is not on my list of things I look forward to in a hotel room.

The room was a bit worn in places, but overall it was a good space. It was well furnished. The breakfast area is outside, so we had to deal with cigarette smoke. We enjoyed our stay.

The dead roach on the floor when we arrived was gross. The live one on the wall when we got back from dinner was inexcusable. Killed a third in the bathroom the next morning. Step it up Best Western.

The room smelled. The rooms do not look like the photos at all the place definitely needs renovations. Could not get pool time because someone decided to have a get together there they took over the pool area. In the morning finally empty but this was in the pool.

My husband and I really enjoyed it here over the 4th of July holiday. We stayed two nights and were pleasantly surprised. I read some bad reviews and was a little scared but it was clean, quiet and the staff was very courteous. They have a nice little complementary breakfast too. We've been coming to Palm Springs every year for the 4th of July from Orange County for 20 years and this is going to be our new place to stay!! We highly recommend!Rooms: Clean rooms and I love the channel selection on the TV.Nearby activities: Its just a 5 minute drive to the downtown parking structure on the strip.Food & drinks: I love the continental breakfast.Noteworthy details: I love how quiet the hotel it. It is off the main strip so there isn't a lot of foot or car traffic.

I want to say first the room I had was clean and quiet and the front desk employees were nice and polite but the beds were smaller than they should have been I reserved queen size but as soon as we walked in I looked and said there was no way the beds were queen ( I have a queen at home) my family said the same thing. I asked the front desk, and they said it was. I just stood there in shock and didn't know what to say and shook my head no. The room was very small, along with one small TV on the wall. On Expedia, where I reserved the room, said deli/bar and free breakfast. No deli/bar, but they did have breakfast that I never made it to. The photos advertisement looked nothing like the room I had, nor the hotel. I was there for my father's funeral, so I needed to stay and didn't want to be out two nights of money, but the room was clean and safe. I will not stay again if I have another choice even though it was clean and safe, especially for the price. I would rather spend more money somewhere else and take another chance.

, i foujd ny way barred by a gate secured by chain, padlock, and a sign readong "keep closed start with the fact im disabled, get around in a cart. The idea that i might want andndeserve the same services and amenities as other guests seems not to have occurred to these people. Want to.check out the swimming pool? After two routes ended (for me) with a few stairs, i finally found an accessible route -- through the parking lot. And once i reached the pool, what dod i find but a gate secured by chain, padlock and a sign teading "keep closed." So welcoming! Well, ok, i guess ill retreat to my room, at least its on the first floor. Cant get there directly though -- even on the ground floor, the path from the office inexplicably has a few stairs. Back to the lot and finally tp.my room. Checking the oreprinted TV channel guide, i see 6-7 HBO channels and a couple other premium channels im sure to.be entertained by. Except they appear on the card only. "No signal" messages if you try the remote. Sigh, ill settle for a coke and a game on my phonr at this point, and i oassed a half dozen "ice and Vending" signs on the way tko my room. Ecploring i quicjly 【find the ice machine and... nithing else. When i ask at the front desk she 【【 puzzled and says they took out ve ding machines years ago! I say you might want to change the signs. She looks puzzled for why they might do that but she says she has a $2 CAN of coke for me, but ONLY CASH, certainly couldn't add it to the room charge. Silliy ne! I guess I'll just go to sleep and start fresh with that breakfast they told me is that held? Oh, of COURSE, in the pool area, behind that padlocked gate.
