I lived in palm springs for six months a few years ago and needed help with our city account. Went to the bank for help and saw Mr sunshine. I can not stress enough how wonderful he was.

I had to write to praise banker Jonathan Sunshine. Mr Sunshine stayed with us and was patient in working through all the elements involved in opening our accounts. He said he would take as long as it would take -- and he was committed to working through every last kink and make it happen. Mr Sunshine is our hero for going the extra mile with a smile and the best positive attitude ever. Amazing service!

We started our process over the phone which went well and then I had to go into the Palm Springs branch to finish up. Also there was a change I decided to make after the fact . Jonathan Sunshine helped us on the first walk in and seconds follow up appointment . He did a tremendous job and tosses in some one liners and and observations that keep the process moving along without getting bored. It was great doing business with him .

Worst phone service ever. Going into the branch to open accounts was just fine, staff was nice enough. Jonathan Sunshine was cool, got me signed up pretty quick, was pleasant and very knowledgeable, no problems here The trouble starts when you have to call in to CitiBank via the numbers provided on the back of the card. Customer Support reps generally are not well-trained, when they enter the information you provide you wait for at least 30 seconds to confirm what you said(the computers/internet at the call centers must be bad; this is not a reflection of the support rep, more of the decision for Citi to use a cheap call center). Got logged out of my online banking, was on the phone for 50 minutes, ultimately to be rerouted somewhere I had already been, only to be asked for my name and info again. Infuriating. Save yourself the trouble, bank somewhere else. Chase/BofA/US Bank at least have working phone systems/call centers. So much time wasted opening an account here.

It shows open till 5pm but it was closed at 4.45pm. They should adjust their hours online. Dissatisfied.

One of the most screwed up banks ever, we as a citibank credit card customer go into the branch to open a checking account, they failed to order the ATM cards on multiple occasions as agreed. The 1st set was ordered to arrive when we where leaving on vacation EVEN AFTER WE TOLD THEM THE VACATION DATES, we delayed leaving so we could get the cards. They told us they would order a 2nd set of cards (they never did), so we thought the 2nd set was arriving but it was just the pin numbers. So I call the bank again, only to find out they never ordered the 2nd set of cards but deactivated the 1st set. THIS BRANCH IS POORLY MANAGED AND THE EMPLOYEES DON'T LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMERS AND THEY DON'T DO AS THEY AGREEDED. DON'T USE THIS !#%#$# BRANCH, GOTO ANOTHER CITY, AVOID THE PALM SPRINGS BRANCH. One last thing, citibank uses the Philippines for customer service, it is horrible, poor communications, I guy mumbled & talked away from the phone, couldn't understand a string of numbers repeated twice. I've called on 2 or 3 occasions and the same problem, they have problems understanding english (yes they can say hello and their english sounds fine), the last 2 times, they said they would look into the issue and then hung up after 5 minutes. Latest news, another set of cards have been set out, we will will have to be home for the arrival of both sets, then we will will have to wait again for a new set of pin numbers. If anything screws up we will cancel our accounts.

Jonathan Sunshine! And indeed he is full of sunshine! What a pleasure he was helping me and mom with our business. He was efficient, pleasant, professional and just the right doses of humor! Thank you, Jonathan and well done Citibank for hiring an excellent representative!

WOW.... I called to speak to someone regarding eliminating the PMI. The looping, the re-outing, the prompts, the recordings... and to better assist you, bla bla bla...... 38 min listening to prompts...and takes you right back to the beginning.... OMG. Finally I get some one. 1/2 way through the call.... I get disconnected and went right to " thank you for offering feedback portion.... I tried to answer a couple of questions.... and then the prompt said..." GOODBYE "...... and hung up. The rep has my phone # BUT..no one calls back. I was left on So frustrating..!! Respectfully Ross

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had!!! I closed my bank account with Bank of America to switch over to them. I was told that they are reliable, have great customer service and professional, so figured I would give them a try. They have made my life a living hell. I opened an account with them and wanted to sign up for direct deposit. I was supposed to get paid on the 5th and my money was supposed to be in my account on that same day. 3 days later my check from my employer is not in my account. Come to find out that one of the tellers from Citibank typed up direct deposit form incorrectly causing my rent to be late and charging me several late fees. I then go to the bank to get this issue resolved a couple days later and the same teller that typed up my direct deposit form helps me. She becomes very rude to me and treats me like it was my fault this happened when she's the one who typed up the direct deposit form incorrectly making me wait this long for my check and who has also caused me to be late on my rent. I do not recommend anyone going to this bank. They don't care about you and the treat you like s**** This was the absolute worst customer service I have ever had in my life. I wish I never closed my Bank of America account.

I hate this location. The old lady with long red hair is NEVER any help. She's been around forever and still can't seem to help me out with anything. More then once, more than twice this lady is oblivious how to help out customers. This branch is rude and they need to train their old employees.

If you yawn at the mere idea of a visit to your bank branch, think again! If you resent yet another appointment with your banker, there too you may want to reconsider. That is of course if your banker is Mr Jonathan D. Sunshine at the PalmSprings CITIBANK branch! My husband and I applied for a HELOC loan a few weeks back. Words are hard to describe the quality of service we received. Forget the effectiveness and diligence we witnessed as well as the pertinent advice we were given before and during the process. All of those were great. But it was Jonathan's unbelievable sense of follow-up and follow-through that almost left us speechless. Last but not not least, the "Jonathan package" came with an infectious sense of humor, the secret ingredient we could all use a bit more of these days! Thank you Jonathan!!!
