Wonderful staff, so helpful and kind. Pool/hot tub were well maintained. On-site restaurant was delicious with tortillas made fresh in full view. Great location, easily walk to where the action is.Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds. Updated bathroom.Walkability: Just a few minutes walk to many shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars.Food & drinks: Tasty cocktails and Mexican food, open for breakfast through dinner, with service to the pool.Noteworthy details: Great places to relax and hang out, like the rooftop patio. Feels quiet and private, but is close to the action.

I can't speak for the hotel itself, but, the restaurant, El Mirasol, is one of our favorite places to eat in Palm Springs. Their food is authentic, absolutely delicious and the outdoor patio is magical in the evenings. You can also purchase their freshly made bottles of one of my favorites hot sauces,"doña Diablo"... very spicy with a rich smokey flavor

This place is a gem. The have petite rooms which is a perfect size for just me. The showers are really spacious though. I had the whole pool to my self. The Mexican Resturant located at the hotel is absolutely amazing-if only they were open every night. The staff are incredibly nice. I will be coming back for sure. Thanks!

My daughter and I come here every time we're in PS and it never disappoints. There's something about the courtyard that's very magical and also we had the talented guitarist play some beautiful Spanish classical guitar for us at our table. They could use a few fly strips however as they were on us that night. Thank you!

Couldn’t have asked for a better base for our stay in Palm Springs. Hotel room was clean and comfortable, shower was huge and had shower gel etc. I also like that they included a bin to separate out recycling from trash. The pool was perfect for relaxing in the sun with a margarita from the on-site Mexican restaurant. The front desk and restaurant staff were super helpful whenever we needed water bottle refills or recommendations. Highlight was the free bikes you can borrow; they’re adorable and a great way to peruse the mid-century architecture on your doorstep!

Really sweet little hotel. Loved swinging in the hammock at the end of the day! Wish I had known about the bikes & the hidden rooftop lounge. Wolfgang Puck coffee in the room was actually good! Delicious dinner on the lovely patio at El Mirasol. Great location and front desk service. Wasn't a problem that the room didn't have a phone, but a small fridge would've been a plus. Would stay here again.

Pros:- Very friendly staff-Rooms are super clean-Gorgeous pool and courtyard-The restaurant next door is delicious!-Love that it is a family run business, lots of charm and characterCons:-Rooms 19-21 are located directly beside their very popular restaurant. We were staying in one of those rooms, which made for a noisy stay. At 8am the staff starts setting up the restaurant, so you can hear chairs and tables moving & people talking. At exactly 9am, restaurant music starts playing loudly and will continue on until 9pm. This made sleeping in or having a mid-day nap impossible. There was also very little privacy in these rooms, so if you'd like the windows or blinds open, there is just a thin wall of greenery separating you from the busy restaurant. When we got back to our rooms at the end of the day, you'll hear guests in the restaurant until about 9:30pm at night when it starts to quiet down. If you're an early riser and aren't going to bed until 9:30/10pm, this may not be an issue for you at all. We were hoping to catch up on some rest while staying there, so I just found the loudness and early morning music a bit frustrating. Overall it was still a lovely stay and I'd still recommend the hotel. Perhaps those rooms could come with a disclaimer about the noise and be offered at a reduced price?-They have several signs around the pool strictly stating no outside food or drink, not even water, but you're allowed to bring food from the restaurant. I found this a bit strange, as I wanted to have some fruit and water in the hot sun.-There is no fridge located in the rooms

Just 5 min walk to all the shops & restaurants . Rooms are twice the size of most hotels . Parking is free & on site . Restaurant is attached & has genuine authentic Mexican dishes . They serve breakfast , lunch , & dinner .

Staff is friendly here but this hotel is so loud with so much traffic noise. I moved even after 1st night not being able to sleep much but just one room down away from traffic and still so darn loud! I did not have the heart to ask to move again! I drained out the noise as best I could with a nice fan/ac unit in room but still the thumping was hard to put up with! The saving grace was the nice authentic Mexican restaurant right there and I loved the hot tub. And the tv channels were a good variety as I was rained out all of 2 of my 3 full days there!

4 stars for a 3-star hotel. Stellar customer service at the front desk made the difference from a disappointing stay to a comfortable one.Charming small boutique-ish hotel close to main strip. The pool and enclosed garden area was a sweet place to hang out and chill. The rooms are basic and a bit outdated (very small TV).Worth considering if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay. It’s family owned and run, that adds to the warmth and charm of this place.

I give this place 97 3/4 out of 100. Smallish boutique hotel in the heart of old town Palm Springs. Little rooms tucked into the lush courtyard and all are near the pool. The service was friendly and warm. That includes Mirasol restaurant that’s attached to the hotel. They have great food and a wonderful staff! Plus, they’ll deliver their fabulous Mexican food poolside or to your room. Hip green cruiser bikes are available to check out (for no extra charge) which we did and enjoyed a cruise around the area. Hot tub and pool were great and we nearly had them to ourselves for an entire week. Find the almost hidden stairs to the almost hidden rooftop lounge area. Great spot to bring a book. We deducted 2 1/4 points from our rating for a couple of minor details including the sign at the pool saying no outside food or drinks, including water. No water, in the desert? But of course you can buy even that at the restaurant. But the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday so…Dumb sign, and d*** rule. The people I saw ignored it. I was taught that if everyone’s breaking the rule, maybe you should have another look at the rule. Just sayin’. Don’t let that dissuade you from staying at this darling, well located little place. We can’t wait to return.
