Eva and I had stopped by to have lunch at Shakey's. We had a PCM (Pizza, Chicken, and Mojo potatoes). The food was good and the manager, James, was very personable. Nice Luch.

Went to the theater that is adjoining this. Everything except the theater was closed on Sunday.

Do not recommend speaking to ANYONE that runs the Cultural Center. I merely sent a message to Eric Smith asking about the Cultural Center allowing a Public Charity to use their location to fundraise and collect donations for an event. Eric Smith took it upon himself to contact the owner of the charity and tell him that I was asking questions. He sent that person my personal contact information without my consent and permission that included my full legal name, my email address and my phone number. I sent Eric a disconcerting reply regarding this utter lack of consent. Eric did not respond nor did they apologize. Interim, I have received unwarranted phone calls and text messages from the charity owner. Eric Smith needs some serious customer service training, training on doxxing and training on consent when it comes to people in the community asking questions as to who they are dealing and doing business with. My partner and I are now worried about the retaliation that has ensued. The Palm Springs Cultural Center seems to now be a mafia run organization.

I've contacted them three times via email about a pricing issue. No reply from them, after a month. I can only assume it's because I didn't get the most expensive membership. If local small private businesses want their actual neighbors to support them, they should communicate with them and not just those who throw money at them. I will not be attending anymore movies, shows or "pop-ups" held at this place.

Great movies are chosen for showings. They have wonderful festivals.Lovely small area up stairs with several food selections & bar. Downstairs adjacent to theatres there is a sandwich bar with salads & other specialsUnfortunately, the chairs are hard & doesn't move back at all. They'll remind you of sitting in your school classroom. The popcorn machine was broken at the time, yet they chose to still sell it. I've never complained before, but had to ask just in case I had got a bad batch. They said a newer popcorn would just turn out the same way.And this came from management. They should have stopped selling it all together. I'll check the popcorn again upon next visit.

Went to see Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory last night at the Drive In. Sorry to see so many scenes were cut from the movie. The scene with the squirrels, when Mike Teevee went into the TV, etc. Why didn't you show the full movie. Had plans to see PeeWee, Cabaret, and Blues Brothers. Will those be the full movies, or be cut short?

This center/theater (formerly Camelot Theatres) isn't only intended to serve LGBTQetc folks. It's for everyone who likes special or classic films and great food - they're staffed with very *welcoming people. What I most enjoyed when I last attended one was the aesthetic setting and politeness of the audience - it's gratifying to watch a great old film when everyone else there has the same love and respect for it that you do. No cellphones being used or unnecessary talking etc. as in typical cinemas - at least that's been my experience. Besides regularly scheduled films there are events - film festivals, live performances, benefits and so on - the theaters can be privately rented too. They currently even have a free weekly offering: double episodes of Netflix's "The Crown." *Further proof: I entered before they were open today to take some inside pics and got them before I was caught and ejected so politely that for a second I thought I must be in Fargo or Norway. Not that I've been thrown of that many places... but enough to compare. How many managers can boot out a customer so nicely that they can't wait to come back and spend more money there?

Located in a small business complex with a few radio stations. The place has a nice, easy, Palm Springs vibe.
