first and foremost I want to be really clear as a Palm springs resident I really encourage and personally like to support local shop/stores, restaurants, etc.. However, this past weekend, December 30, I decided to bring my dog in for a Complete grooming experience, and again trying to support local shops.. but unfortunately, the experience didn't go that great I received a call an hour and 25 minutes later to come pick up my dog apparently she wasn't being cooperative during the bathing portion of the Experience. This was surprising to hear as my dog generally is generally cooperative until they get to her nails however, I think my concern is that the team at least the perception appeared they didn't seem very knowledgeable in charge of how to handle this situation. That said, I hesitate it, putting this message out, thinking this Could be a-one-off, but when my dog was shaking after this experience, that tells me something went terribly wrong behind-the-scenes this is not normal in her behavior Overall, it's a beautiful store inside great stuff to purchase for your dogs. I don't wanna take that away from the owners or this team, but I think the other concern should be addressed or looked into. More concerning is my dog was literally shaking when I picked her up, which tells me something went wrong, terribly in the back.

I have a very difficult dog but sweet. They were so kind and patient with him. The groomer was Brittany who was just so loving and full of excuses for his bad behavior. I would recommend them to give a wonderful bath and haircuts. And of all the adorable toys and treats.

I brought my Bedlington Terrier in for a grooming, and I know he's an uncommon breed, but I encouraged the groomer to look in the book on the style guide. Ultimately, they did bathe him but it really didn't look like they cut his hair at all. I even gave specific instructions on cutting his crown and it looked the exact same. I called to discuss it and was met with complete argumentativeness, defensiveness, and the manager was so very condescending. She begrudgingly offered to fix it, but I honestly don't want my dog subjected to their energy or incompetence any longer. I would highly discourage anyone from using these folks.

this grooming spot & retail store is super cute and has great products inside. the prices are a bit high but the grooming itself is less expensive than I am used to. the guy that helped me at the counter was a bit rude and seemed to be a little too scatter brained for working the front desk of a dog salon, but what do I know? the actual grooming they did on my husky looked great at first. he smelled clean and seemed happy but as soon as I got him home I realized they did a mediocre job with his de-shed. he was dropping hair like crazy for a few days after and then it calmed down. not sure exactly what they did. they also cut the hair on the tip of his tail which would have been fine had they not left a whole bunch of strays. it looked sloppy and unfinished. but I believe you get what you pay for and as I said above, the price for grooming wasn’t bad. so that’s why I’m giving them 3 stars. it wasn’t terrible but certainly not the best groom he’s ever had. will I be taking him back there? not likely.

Just had our rescue pup groomed at Posh Pet Care! Wow! Great service! Terrific staff! Kudos to Kim who made our little boy feel safe and comfortable. And now glamorous too!

The place is beautiful and should just stick to pet supplies and accessories because they have great items at reasonable prices. As for their groomers... I'll never go back nor will I recommend anyone to their salon. I brought 2 dogs there on 2 different occasions. The first was a rescue we found on the street so I didn't know anything about her. The groomer that day, didn't finish grooming her because "she was too wiggly" and they did want to traumatize the dog who was assumed to be very young and possibly her first trip to a salon. Sounded reasonable. Come to find out the dog is 7-8 years old according to our vet and was full of mats that a different groomer said were easily removed.Next I brought my own dog and there was a different groomer. She cut his hair to the length we discussed but left his head hair so long It's totally in his eyes. Again "couldn't get all the mats out". He wasn't that matted, only a few. As I said at the start of this review...I won't be returning

I don’t leave bad reviews often but this is not ok. I called to schedule a bath for 2 dogs and was told a price of $95. I don’t run a pet grooming business so I don’t know the typical cost but I thought that price for 2 dogs was amazing “$95?” I repeated “that’s the cost for both dogs” and the employee said “yes.” I proceeded to make the appointment thinking great ok. I come back to pick up my dogs and the owner gives me a price of over double that. I told him the employees gave me a different price. He’s says oh no we can’t do that price. Then he charged my card the over double price. After he tells his employee in the back the employee then comes out and tells me “oh sorry I’M NEW but that’s the price for 1 dog.” How do you not take responsibility for your employees error and continue to charge me something other than what was quoted.BAD BUSINESS.

I have probably written 3 reviews ever. My shih Tzu Foxy, who I've had almost 17 years is the love of my life. She has many medical problems so I worry A LOT about her when she's not with me. The staff went out of their wat to make sure my baby was well cared for and loved while there. She made herself quite comfy while there. Her groomer, Shawna Carried her out so gently and that made me so happy. They took their time to make sure she wasn't stressed out. Nice work everyone I appreciate you and the superb job you did on my foxy girl. Staff is like a family. It's a nice change.

I came in to Posh with my dog the receptionist was so sweet and had so many good things to say about the groomers at the salon. We ended up booking an appointment, she called to confirm all the details and was so friendly. It was worth the long drive from La Quinta. Honestly envied how happy my dog was being there!

Unfortunately, my mental disabled dog (8 month golden retriever) was refused grooming and a bath days ago for barking, while meeting the groomers for the first time. Apparently wall sharing neighbors have made noise complaints.
