Went walking through Palm Springs and I seen this Rare Coin Store. I walked in with my boyfriend and son and we were greeted right away by Ken. We are a blended family and sometimes I notice how some people treat us negatively but Ken never made us feel in welcome. He was so nice. The store was not only clean but well organized. While we were looking in the store he was knowledgeable and helpful sharing more information about the items we were looking at. I felt like a kid in a candy shop and he was so patient with everything I was asking to get a better look at. He seen how much I liked the items and he actually had something super rare. He brought out a $100,000 bill!!!! It was way out of my price range but he was so nice about it he gave us the history on it and let me take a picture with it! I was so mind blown. I never thought I would see anything like it in my life let alone be able to hold it. Definitely will be back soon to purchase more items. Thank you so much Ken I can't tell you how much it meant to me being able to see what you had and hold that one of a kind bill.

My worst experience with any coin shop!! Aside from 'bait and switch' on what was agreed on - it took 6 weeks to get paid for my silver. Will never deal with him again!!!

I was in Palm Desert for a business trip. Drove to Palm Springs and stopped in the shop. I bought a few coins and a ring. The owner offered me a good price on the lot, and he was cordial. Glad I made the trip because it was a pleasant experience.

Had my items verbally appraised for free And was offered nearly double the price for my coins than around town! The lady and gentlemen were kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable and even educated me a bit on some other items, these guys really know their stuff. Above all I had fun and even walked out with a few new pieces I had been seeking to add to my collection for many years. Five stars!

Their new TV commercial says they do free valuations...What a joke! I brought in several GEM quality coins for an opinion on grade and the female behind the counter stated “We are not buying that variety right now”. I wasn’t there to sell the coins, I was wanting a second opinion on having them graded. I definitely will not be back. I’m surprised they haven’t closed the doors by now.

What a great find! 'Twas our pleasure meeting Ken Shearn. He's very friendly and knowledgeable in the field of numismatics. He can also tell the stories that are behind the treasures. Must see if in Palm Springs.

We stumbled to this little gem RCPM on our way to Lulu's restaurant, Ken the owner was so knowledgeable about antique coins. My father in law was as quite the collector and we don't have any idea of the value of the collection that we inherited, Ken definitely knows his stuff, he was very easy to talk to and kind, he gave my daughter a 1920''s Indian princess penny. a highly recommend this little gem in the heart of Palm Springs.
