Edit: I did say I was a fan of the room but with all the issues I dont think I am. I hope to not have to stay here again especially with summer coming and the air systems not working. Why can't there be a microwave? My room is nowhere near the one microwave they have on my floor. Super bummed. I would give 5 stars but I just can't I'm really bummed about this. My room was also uncomfortably warm. The air was broken and I got no sleep at all and had to get up very early

I have been staying here since this hotel opened over 30 years ago. There is so much I love about this place. The rooms are comfortable. The pool big and fun. The food is consistently good (the eggs Benedict great) the bar is fun and has games to play. The staff is always great. My one complaint is that on more than one occasion in the last five years I’ve had to change rooms because the AC unit was making load squeaky noises. Clearly there is an issue. In the last 18 months I’ve identified a room I love and just always ask for it by number. They do charge for parking. There is an airport shuttle.

Woke up at 2:30a from the fan rattling noise. Cant sleep back again. If the noise level is like this 70dB - 90 dB high, there must be someone else who already reported this issue to the hotel. How come they are still using this room and assign to family who came for a vacation.

An old Renaissance that feels its age. The rooms are tired, beds soft, no soap or water in the room. No doorman to help with luggage, no lounge for Platinum members.Noteworthy details: Rooms are old and the hotel hasn’t been updated for at least 15 years. Feels dirty and drab.

This is my go-to hotel in Palm Springs with its connection to the Convention Center and close proximity to downtown. The hotel might be showing its age in areas, but the location, pool courtyard, and service make up for it. The breakfast in the restaurant is great and a convenient stop before a conference or sightseeing. I'm always most impressed by the friendliness and service of all of the staff. On my most recent visit, Natalie at the Front Desk stood out with her friendly greeting and helpfulness with any issues I had during my stay. I'm continue to utilize this property for my visits to Palm Springs, whether for business or just to enjoy the mountain views from the pool deck while escaping winter.

Of all the hotels I've stayed at in Palm Springs, this has been the nicest. Wonderful staff, nice facilities. Rooms could use an update just due to being old, but are still functional.

Our room was very disappointing! We had one small vent to cool the entire room non in the bathroom, it was very hot and very uncomfortable! The cleaning staff is subpar! Our room was cleaned only once during our 4 night/5 day stay. For the cost of this hotel the rooms should be updated, clean and good beds!!!! The area for ice that also contained the microwave was FILTHY! The very BEST part of this hotel was concierge and bar, especially Kobe!!! They were the bright lights of our stay. If I come back to Palm Springs I will definitely NOT stay here. There are much better options!Walkability: The hotel was in a great location which is probably why they have so many guests! It’s walkability was terrific.

Classy but old tired hotel that is in need of investment.Didn't sleep 1st night as the AC would not come on.No air circulation or ability to control a closed room. Was told the AC would freeze that's why it's locked.Windows actually open here unlike other hotels...Nestled in side of Mt St Jacinto, the backdrop is incredible. Glorious front entrance and open design of lobby is very inviting.Parking is horrible if you can find one. I was blocked in by a bad guest who blocked my car doors, costing me 5 hours of inability to use my car. $35 per night add insult to injury for overnight guests.Staff here is great! Thank you Mayra for solving ky key and parking issues.
