I had to have my clutch replaced on my 2016 Dodge Challenger RT shaker, was in a bind because I could not find a spot with my regular mechanic and car lots was recommended by them to me. My experience with carlex is that my touch came back working better than ever, and the customer service was very friendly, time oriented and communicative. In fact after I drove off with my car I came back right afterward and thank them all because I was so happy with the performance that I felt in my car. The only downside is that before I took my car in my skid plate was not missing a screw or loose and when it came back it was loose and missing a screw, I am unsure if when my clutch was replaced this happened there but before that it was never an issue.
Aside from that, my clutch is smooth as butter and working beautifully.

honestly.. disappointed... I had trust in this place and I felt the owner laughed in my face as if I brought them the car damaged when no I didn't! I know my car so well I'm a very patient person they made me loose all trust in all mechanics in the dam Av! looking to sell my car because how it turned out and by the way I never had an electrical issue! I myself fixed it it was the ECT that was causing the fuse blow outs and the mechanic said oh leave it on ... I turned it off it went back to working completely... and you should add a note when I scheduled! with you guys that work was not going to be done just a oh let's look .. had a Day off on work wasted... I am from now on learning to do it myself ! I felt humiliated... do better...

100% recommend
Had an emergency where my truck wouldn't start.
Took it in on super short notice. They ran a diagnostic, figured out the issue and had my truck back to me by the end of the day.

I have been going to Car Lax (formerly Bruce and Tina's) for years. Bruce Lax and his team of mechanics and front office personnel are fun-loving and hard-working.
MY certified mechanic Robert Johnson (RJ) makes sure that my 2010 Ford Escape serves me with peace of mind. As my car grows older, problems creep up. Still, I feel secure knowing that RJ has checked all the "nooks and crannies" and fixed them, so I can take car trips with peace of mind.
