Bad shop with a worse owner who keeps products that leak/don't work in stock. Employees are nice people, I hope they can find work elsewhere.

If you enjoy subtle racial discrimination and having an adversarial interaction with the person behind the counter, this is a great place to stop! I haven't stopped here in a few years but I needed some butane. When I entered the shop there was one other person completing a purchase. I looked at the cannabis pipes for a few minutes and the two workers walked to the back. No greeting is fine with me. They didn't ask if I needed help with anything behind glass and were just chilling back there for around 4 minutes. I walked over to the counter and stood in front of the register for another 2 minutes. Eventually two other customers entered and triggered the door chime. A young male in his mid-twenties came around the corner and as soon as he saw me he stopped, waited a beat, then said, "Como Estas!?". I don't speak spanish so I just assumed he was referring to my hispanic appearance and said, "Sorry, I don't speak spanish, but thank you. (I'm part hispanic and part anglo and was adopted without ever learning spanish). He asked what I needed so I told him, "I'm looking for butane". "The expensive stuff, or, the CHEAP STUFF?" he says. "That depends on the pricing and brands" I say. He says, "The expensive stuff is like $20 and the cheap stuff is like $3.00. "Okay, I'll take the cheap stuff then". Then the cashier grabbed a cannabis pipe for me and proceeded to tell me that, because it was red at the tip, it looked nasty, like, "You know what". I was in a good mood when I walked in to this place and I left with high blood-pressure and anger. Thanks for Nothing.
