George does an amazing work with color and cut. I've had my hair done by Sandra Diclemente as well and she also does an excellent job! I've been getting my hair done by George for over 25years!!! His work is amazing!!!

Melissa is a very nice young lady, and I believe she really tried to do a good job. I asked for highlights and lowlights. I showed her a photo of what I wanted done. It took her over three hours. She did some highlights, but made the rest of the hair just dark. She did not leave any in between. There are very, very few highlights, and the rest is just very dark. (When she was rinsing the hair, did she let the highlights get mixed with the dye from the low lights? I don't know.) After dying my hair, she had to leave toner on for 15 minutes. Is that because the color was brassy? I don't know. I've not had somebody have to use toner before. Honestly, my hair really pretty much looks as though I died it myself out of a bottle. I'm very disappointed. When she gave me the bill of $185, for only dying my hair and no hair cut, I just about fell over. (Yes it took her over three hours; however, most stylists do my hair in 90 minutes and do a great job!) I've never had somebody take so long to dye my hair and cut it both! I know she was trying to do a good job, she just needed to have more highlights, and leave some of the current color, and add some low lights. I felt like I had a beauty school student. She was very sweet, and most likely good at other styles, but I won't be back.

Been here a handful of times now, and all-in-all this place is just OK. Every time I've been here, from hair cuts to color/highlights, Mia has been the one to perform the service. The last time I got a haircut with Mia, she didn't offer any advice or suggestions. The cut came out ok, but it left my hair feeling flat. It's difficult to schedule a time that works for me when Mia is available, and the prices are a bit on the high side for what you get. I'm not sure I feel comfortable having anyone else doing my hair (definitely not Taylor, according to a lot of the other reviews), so I went with a different hair salon that is more affordable and does just as good of a job, if not better.

The place is clean and people seem nice, but the hair stylist didn't listen. I said I wanted a perm with big loose curls. Not tight curls specifically said - No poodle perm and she did damn poodle perm curls. Paid over 200 dollars for something I specifically said I didn't want. I hate how my hair looks now. Will never return. Now I have to pay another stylist (not from there) to fix this crappy hair. If you don't know how to do the perm I ask for than tell me you can't do it. Don't miss represent your skill level by lying to me and telling me you can do the perm I asked for. I trusted your expertise, but that expertise was falsely represented.

Beware! TAYLOR HOOD has horrible energy and a horrible vibe to her, she is very unwelcoming! Even the energy and vibe of the salon is icky. It's very dark with poor lighting, very stark and not enough windows you feel like you're trapped in a little box. Before I even arrived the receptionist was annoying and had called me 3 times that morning trying to change my appointment to an earlier time that I could not accommodate. When I arrived I only witnessed one hair stylist who looked engaged and happy, all the others looked miserable and they were dragging ass. I even over heard a couple stylists complaining about their clients coming in later that day, very unprofessional. TAYLOR personally did my hair and she was god awful, she did not engage me or try to make conversation at all. I tried starting conversation multiple times but it was very clear she was just not open, an entire two hour service in silence is just awkward, rude and unnecessary. There is no excuse, whether you are having a bad day or not you are getting paid to provide a service and you should always try your best to provide your clients with a pleasant comfortable experience and environment. I understand hairstylist are independent workers but the salon should hold their stylists to a higher standard as they are the face of the salon. TAYLOR'S first impression was she's a miserable bitch who hates her job and is just collecting a check. It was very clear by her attitude, demeanor and the way she carried herself. I will never forget how she made me feel in her chair, very unwanted like I was a bother or putting her out of her way on her lovely Saturday afternoon. I would never recommended TAYLOR HOOD or this salon to anyone!

The customer service is wonderful. But the actual service was not. I scheduled a haircut specialized for curly hair. The stylist cut my hair but made my curls worse. Her attempts to style my hair weren't the best. I left with an Afro rather than curls. The price for the cut was expensive. I thought it would reflect through the style but it didn't. Lesson learned. They might be great with other services but not natural curly cuts.

Very welcoming environment. People here are kind, understanding, and great at their job. Its on the expensive side but they shampoo, cut, style, and use their products to make you look nice and make you feel beautiful. Will def recommend and will be coming back.

Mia is very kind and professional I been getting my hair done from her over 15 years. I am very satisfied with her services. Also, everyone who works at the salon is friendly and welcoming.

I came here because someone that I knew was a customer well the 1st few times I went it was really nice my hair turned up beautiful This last time was not so good. Not only did my hair root touch up turn out wrong but I was charged I was charged $45.00 Dollars more I asked her why I was being charged $45 more and she said it was because she toned my highlights afterwards what she always did before and charged me $90 when I asked her this she was extremely defensive And told me that the $80 that they charge on their menu that was just a starting price. After she did this last route touch up on me she totally wiped out all my highlights that I had except for a few so I told her I was unhappy with my hair she had me come back she looked at it and then she charged me another $30.00 to try and fix my color.. So when I finally asked her why she charged me $135 this time for a route touch up and before the last few times she wanted to charge me $90.00 She became extremely defensive and told me that she was gonna cancel my next appointment which I was going to do anyway because I couldn't trust her to do my hair anymore The hairdresser's name is Mia .very bad Customer Service..

WOW. WOW. WOW. That's all I can SAY IS amazing job. I had fried pandemic bleached hair over due and George did a miracle, color and cut!! getting so many compliments. thank you thank you.
