I love shopping at this Genesis location on Ave S the customer service is 100% the best the ladies that work there are very helpful and attentive. Paris has a beautiful spirit and goes out of her way to assist when you are looking for a product. Very friendly and polite I appreciate good customer care.

Don't bother coming here. They have one rude woman working there rushing you on the items you want to get because they keep them behind the glass cabinet. You can even take your time because she gets annoyed. Bad horrible customer service

Only beauty supply store I will be going to from now on. Everyone is so helpful but Paris especially is beyond awesome. I went in to get things that I needed to do my hair. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything that I needed. Great customer service and a beautiful spirit. If you’re looking for a beauty supply store to go to, THIS IS IT!

WARNING COMING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. This establishment and its management is an absolute scam. I was told by the employee to apply a product that required developer (hi color L’Oréal) by itself and of course it ended with me getting chemical burns to my scalp. That is why I made it very clear to the girl that sold it to me, I made sure to inform her that I was clueless regarding hair dye and needed help with my purchase. She told me all I needed to do was apply the product alone. I made it clear that I didn’t want to end up coming back for other products & she said no that’s all you need. When I called, she refused to acknowledge where she went wrong & didn’t try to help me at all. I Went to urgent care & of course my scalp was chemical burned. I have been calling since Thursday, Supervisor Rosie refuses to call me back. I have spoke with several managers that keep telling me there’s nothing they can do and only Rosie can. I spent about $50 for chemical burns at this location and they’re all owned by the same person and nobody can help me. I’m absolutely mortified that this business functions this way even with camera footage that proves that the employee steered me the wrong direction. I have called well over 30-50 times to all locations and Rosie still does not call me. This is a disgusting way for business to be conducted and unsafe for consumers. They hire people that don’t know what they’re selling & then treat you badly. Rosie I hope you see this, you are disgusting & lack a moral compass.Received a call today (2/7/23) to come get my refund. Thanks to the power of Social media, I’m assuming she saw my review. I would’ve loved to tell Rosie about how she is—to her face but I couldn’t make it so I sent my husband. Rosie proceeded to make it worse by lying to his face. She claimed that SHE WASNT AWARE that she was supposed to call me AT ALL. Even with me speaking with 3 of her store managers, and three different employees that all took my number and relayed to her. Sonia, the lancaster manager was the only one that tried to help the situation & was nice, and respectful. Rosie didn’t hesitate when she threw her own team under the bus. She denied offering me 10% off, which is what she would tell her staff to tell me as a quick fix. She simply acted as if she was clueless, and blamed her staff for failure to inform her. Disgusting behavior seeing how Sonia actually tried to help. I highly advise people not to shop here. Just glad I FINALLY got my money back it’s only right. Sonia should have her position, customers would be much happier to spend here.

I know, I know... yes I went in there..they have some alright die's for colors.... I like a little color for my doo... but service was shocked that I was even anything from there, cause when I asked for a color she just froze there for a min.. so I laughed a bit. The shocked look was funny.. but wasn't told that I needed something else to mix together so it would do its thing..so I guess I have to go get developer..so should be fun.. let you guys know when I go.. so from I saw was that place is bigger than I thought.. they got all your needs there.. I'm just letting you know my first time experience there.. all about customer service.. no matter what.. got to have fun

How do you hire people with ZERO hair knowledge???? Worst experience EVER! The staff has no idea what they’re doing & asking for management is a waste of time because they (ROSIE) will avoid you at all costs. She doesn’t care about customer needs- she only cares that the money is being made -5 stars if i could!

Visiting the area from San Diego and I must say that this was the worst customer service experience. No one greeted me and they made me bring the wigs to them and take it back. The girls were rude and not accommodating at all. I left to spend more money elsewhere with better customer service. I really hope that this is not normal standard of service. Horrible!

They have what I need, only thing not against the Palmdale store, but I live in Lancaster with two stores closer to me and they never have what I need and they send me to the Palmdale store, so I just go there because they have a wider selection, happy customer.
