Things started off good. But it became clear I was being slow ghosted. I was working with Corey and she started super sweet and helpful at first. Super knowledgeable and showed me how to improve my credit. No problem. Over the next couple months, Corey's communications skill started lacking as I would text and call and leave voicemail but get no response or a constant "can I call you back?" Only to not here back. When I did get a hold of her, she would tell me she would call at a specific time, only to not hear from her. It finally got to a point to where I found another lender. After I made one last attempt to reach her, she sent me straight to voicemail and sent me a text and asked to call me back. I very politely told her it wasn't necessary and that I had found a new lender and thanked her for her time. She responded in an unprofessional and nasty way. She trashed my credit score, which improved 45 points since we started, and listed all the reasons why I'm not gonna get approved. While i chose not to respond, my co-borrow decided to reach out and ta-da! Corey emails me all the information I've been asking for for the past month. Not being interested in working with her (my co-borrow didn't want her credit reran which is why she reached out), I let her know that her lack of communication is why I looked elsewhere and I need more communication to continue. She in turn tries to gaslight me and tell me I missed multiple in person meetings. I asked her tell me when these meetings were and to check her messages because I had no idea what she was talking about and haven't heard back since. As a Senior Loan Officer, I expected more professionalism and courtesy.

No no no!Don’t use this company for a loan. It took 5 months for our loan to get done mostly because we had an incompetent loan representative that didn’t know what loan to give us. Sherri Petty started us off with an FHA loan, then told us -nope-we needed a conventional loan then- nope -back to FHA. Totally incompetent nasty lady. In addition, she shared some of our information with a personal friend of hers who is a Realtor about our loan, in addition to gossiping about us. Considering reporting to the California Board of Realtors. Then to top it off she was unapproachable. Every time we called her for information or to ask a question she snapped at us!! Unbelievable! I’m sure those that know her won’t be surprised at this. It’s ridiculous that someone could actually get paid a lot of our money for service like this. If you use this company don’t say you weren’t warned!

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Troy Hoeft. He was able to complete a loan application on a rush given the challenging file. During the transaction his response rate was immediate and knew exactly where our loan process was every step of the way. Troy and his team are the best!!

First time buying a home, I thought it would be pretty difficult and extremely time consuming. They kept me updated every step of the way, the process was 37 days from start to finish. I will definitely use them for my next home purchase a few years from now. If you’re needing someone to walk you through the process give them a call I definitely recommend. Ask for HM this lady knows her work very well.

I contacted a home via realtor on 5/23 when I was in the area and wanted to view a home. Shortly after I was contacted by Cedrina Herrera. I explained I was a first time home buyer and I was pre approved for xxxxxx amount. Before she could even review my pre approval she began to sell me on a colleague of her her named “Edgar Aguilar” from MMC lending. She went on to sell me on her colleague stating he could get me a better rate, higher buying power, better pre approval. She connected me with this gentleman and I spoke with him via phone and he advised me to submit all my documents, credit, etc. I went ahead and submitted all documents to be given the run around for the next 3.5 weeks. I even went as far as to go view a home 1 hour from me with the Intent that both the agent and lending officer were aggressively working hard to comply with their job in a efficiently manner and getting me that promised “better pre approval”. I also did a buyers consult with Cedrina Herrera where she broke down the market to the best of her ability and knowledge which left me a little confused as certain questions could not be answered, her response was “Edgar will explain that” mind you Edgar was not returning phone calls, text, emails. I really had hopes that this was just first time home buyer jitters and everything would work out. The last week I was working with both the agent and the lending officer I was asked for proof of “reserved funds” on top of my closing cost and down payment, which I provided. Almost 4 weeks later from my initial contact with Cedrina I received a text message from the agent NOT the lending officer congratulating me on a pre approval with no documents to support, just a simple text message that stated your pre approved for xxxxxx amount. I found that to be extremely unprofessional and caused red flags. I shortly withdrew from Cedrina and Edgar. First time home buyers have such great opportunity, and it can easily be sabotaged by employees of this nature. Do your research before you waste credit points, time, and energy. Look for reviews, history on both the lending officers and agents/realtors.

Avoid this place, customer service is horrible. Forget about refinancing with these people, as they will just brush you off.

Absolutely incompetent. 30-day mortgage refund check is taking 6 months++ They do not communicate with each other, customer service reps just bounce you along to "supervisors", and nobody ever gets back to you.

Working with someone once and they do a good job, you think they are good. Working with someone twice and they do an even better job, you know they are great! That is Jamie Borne with MMC. I've now used her twice to purchase a house and she has been amazing to work with. During the COVID Pandemic where refinances are at an all time high, she still managed to work with me and her team along with underwriters to get our loan funded and closed on time. With underwriting needing more time than usual because of the workload they had she had all of our information ready to go in a timely manner. If you are looking for a lender that doesn't just work 9-5 and is there for any question you may have with prompt answers Jamie is the one for you! It's been two times now, and she doesn't disappoint! Thank you Jamie!!

I can't even calculate how many frustrating hours I've wasted dealing with these people. They've kept me completely out of the loop, don't mail me monthly statements, don't send 1098 forms. Make it impossible to access your accounts online.

When I think of MMC lending and my hellish experience I had with them words like: Inept, unprofessional, rude, ignorant and slow just to name a few come to mind. Giving this house of morons even one star is one star too many! As a result of their stupidity my thirty day escrow lasted nearly seventy days! If your slick, shyster real estate agent, (and most of them are) recommends this joke of a lending company run for the hills!
