I would advise against shopping at the Dior Cosmetics counter at this store. During our visit, we experienced a significant lack of professionalism and encountered racial discrimination from the staff member on duty. Despite our intention to make several purchases, we were made to wait for an hour. Furthermore, we did not receive any samples and the service provided was notably cold and unwelcoming.

The quality of items is good.
The one thing that I don’t like about their cosmetics counters are if they don’t have the color or scent you want they’ll sell you a different color or scent and not tell you. You basically find out when you get home that the item was incorrect.

If you process a transaction online, you run the risk of having your transaction canceled and a 7 day hold placed on the money you spent. I am sharing my experience so that you my consider shopping elsewhere or in person instead of online. My wife's birthday was March 4th and I wanted to buy her some UGG boots.I found some at Bloomingdales in Stanford Ca that I could pick up March 4th, this was on March 3rd. I entered my information, used my main bank card that I always use. Transaction went through and I even received confirmation that my order was being processed. Then I received an email that my order was canceled because of security measures they had in place and my information did not match the information with my bank. It had a number to call so I did, still the agent stated that my information did not match and the order would not be processed and a hold was put on the money I used for the boots. Agent stated it would take 7 days and there was nothing they could do about that. So now I was out the money I had for my wife's boots and no gift for her birthday. I took my complaint to bbb because this security measure Bloomingdales has in place is an unfair business practice. I would expect my transaction would be declined and not processed if something didn't match, instead of putting a hold on my money and produce no product. I will not be patronizing this business because of this experience. I have received a response from Bloomingdales and I a suggested they change the way they do business.

Selection is kind of sparse for men's clothing. Ok spot for higher end clothing, but there are probably better stores in the rest of Stanford shopping center

As tempting as the buyers are making Bloomingdale's online, the in store experience is not matching it with the appalling lack of service. The first few times I assumed it was me or something I did. However, my husband tried to shop here, everyone loves him, and it was horrible. The two elderly sales women in the David Yurman section today 2-10-24 at 1p PT, were horrifyingly rude. There was literally no one in the store as it was Super Bowl Sunday. We quietly were pointing out a few items he liked, and stood by the case. For 10 minutes they did not acknowledge us. When I went to ask politely if we could see something, the lady did not look up and mumbled she was doing something and would be there shortly. She proceeded to take 5 minutes more pushing paper around, and then said absolutely nothing for the 6 minutes she begrudgingly helped him see 3 pieces. Her face was extremely annoyed and the most sour I had ever seen. I will never subject anyone from my family there again, and I will go ahead and see what the buyers put online and buy from another company.

I love bloomingdales...they have great merchandise and great sales....shop there all the time....had a few bad times trying to check out in the evening at stanford....but as of late.... had an adorable gal help me after I asked for a manager.....at closing.....her name is AVA..... she was fabulous , so helpful, and cheerful, breath of fresh air....
5 star manager all the way

Bloomingdale's offers an extensive collection of clothes and accessories with a good selection of brands. However, my experience was just okay due to a staff member who was quite rude. While I understand the desire to make a point, the manner of communication with the customer was not appropriate. Despite the hiccup in service, the wide variety of products remains a positive aspect of the shopping experience.
