John was extremely helpful in guiding me on my clothes purchases! He worked particularly hard at finding all of the patterns and shirts that I wanted in my size and when we couldn't find my size in one pattern, he ordered it and got it directly shipped to my home! I will definitely be coming back to shop in the future. The customer service was amazing.

I should check the reviews before visiting. Just like previous reviews mentioned, I encountered very unprofessional service. I used to buy this brand's suits for my kids, but after facing such discriminatory and unpleasant treatment, I won't be purchasing from this brand again. I want to share what happened on July 20th, 2023, as a warning to others, especially Asians.1. When I entered the store around 2pm, there were only two staffs present, no customer in the store. Upon seeing us, the younger male staff immediately turned away. The older female staff just stood there until I called for attention.2. I mentioned that I wanted to buy a black shirt for my kid. Though English is not my native language, I never have the issue of communicating with others. However, the female staff kept asking me what I want in a rude manner. This made me very uncomfortable3. The female staff had no patient to my kid when measuring the size, and was not professional at all (she brought us a shirt that was obviously too small for my kid to wear but insisted that she was right)

Janda provided exceptional service. She knows the products and changes. I usually wear a size 10 shirt and have worn them for years. The cut and fit changed over the past couple of years. She suggested a smaller size and it worked well. She is knowledgeable, professional, patient and smart. Great assets. Keep up the great work Janda!

Staff is borderline racist. They look at the customer walking in the store and size them up by their looks to determine if they would spend $$$. They were rude and unhelpful and made me feel like they didn't want me there. The outlets in Gilroy and Livermore is such a great experience in comparison.

My partner and I purchased multiple items. Two items needed to put in alterations. It took 6 weeks for 1 item to complete. Another one is still in wait after 8 weeks. When I picked the first item, there is a lady mad because she called to make sure but still not ready.The shop clerks don't care and managers aren't hiring anyone for alterations?

Ordered a made-to-measure suit for my wedding which was 6 weeks away. The turnaround time for the made-to-measure suits is 3-4 weeks and Andrew (the manager who took my order) said he'd never seen a suit take longer than 4 weeks. 4 weeks go by and no call, so I call the store and ask what's up. "Let me check on it and get back to you". 2 days later still no call. Call again, "I emailed the factory and I'm waiting for their response". 2 days later a woman calls and tells me the suit won't be coming because the factory "doesn't have the materials". So now we're 5 weeks in, 1 week before my wedding and I'm without a suit. Moral of the story: do NOT trust brooks brothers made-to-measure "3-4 week" timeframe, and always follow-up because brooks brothers sure won't.

I've shopped at Brooks Brothers for over 40 years, a clothier that stood for quality. I just received a wool sweater of a type I'd bought previouslu. Unlike the ribbed wool sweaters of the past, this one was thinner, possibly less than 1/2 the thickness of previous issues. You had to look really hard for the ribbing. I think after Brooks loses the majority of its remaining loyal base; it will be gone, or exist only as an outlet.

I was in need of garment bags and Brooks Brothers garment bags are my favorite. Last year I was able to contact the Brooks Brothers' online customer service and get four garment bags delivered to me. This year when I contacted online customer service, they instead directed me to visit my local store. I'm lucky I have a local store near me otherwise I would've been out of luck (R.I.P. the S.F. Store). Thankfully Nancy and team were able to help me out. It did help that I have VIP Brooks Reward Membership so YMMV.

Unlike everyone else, they charge you money for returns by mail. It's been the most miserable and complicated return process that I've encountered. I will not buy again.

Been a Brooks Brothers shopper for 30+ years. Kind of wondering what happened post pandemic to the clothing quality? Service in stores has always been great. I just bought 4 new white shirts in the Regent size. They are much bigger than my previous purchases in the same size. Spandex has been added - why? There are no sleeve buttons and the cuffs are huge in diameter. Cuffs have at least two inches of excess space. Suggest you try a shirt on before you buy anything. Don't assume anything.
