Going to this store is stressful for me, in terms of the products and I rated a 9/10 for grocery, very fresh fruits and vegetables and a good price. The biggest problem is when paying, there is only 1 open cash register ALWAYS and the Self Service machines fail a lot, they are difficult to manipulate and, above all, they block with the smallest detail. My recommendation is to open more boxes when you see a long line. 5/10 ?

Your service sucks, it's been 3 times that the same thing has happened to me at the bakery, I was waiting for 1/2 hour to buy a cake and no one was in that area and even though I went 4 times to report at the checkout, no one helped me, I will never go back to that one. place their service stinks I hope they go out of business because they serve so badly

We were lucky enough to find the deli section open. We perused through the foods available but still chose the tacos we wanted. I chose two tacos with tripas, the lady fried it a bit first, added onions and cilantro and pico de gallo. It was excellent, we liked the texture. My brother requested a couple of carnitas tacos with red sauce. He found it great as well as he was craving something spicy. We brought home a caldo de res, it was nice and meaty. We also picked up some produce. It was mostly self serve at check out and glad the veggies and fruits had scanning codes. Service is nice but they are busy.

It’s a good store. They have a lot of fresh produce. I like that but all of their salsa is trash. I haven’t had one salsa that I like from Cardenas.

This store is getting worse every day.They don't have employees or they don't last very long, just one cashier and a huge line of customers.All forces want to implement the system that oneself has to buy and pay for. In their self serve.The Manager or person in charge had a very bloody and arrogant attitude.

The customer service in the restaurant sector is very bad, since the ladies who served me were very bad and the food was very cold. Today the fish was poorly fried.

This place always Takes a long time to take your order. They move really slow and they don't care If there's ten people in line it's almost like they're doing it on purpose.And then I went in and got a 3 piece meal for 1099, and they triedtried to tell me that this is a 3 piece meal that theres 3 pieces at Chicken on my plate and they argue with me about it.

Went in to purchase hot food from their counter there were about 4 ladies running around and a gentleman sweeping behind the counter, but only one lady helping costumers. She was obviously rushed and felt like I was inconvenienceing her with my large order. She kept walking away before I could ask her for my next item. It was lunch time and most of their staff cut in front of customers to place their order luckily I was already paying but I would have been upset if it would of happened to me. Good food meh experience.

The meat department employees were not very accommodating. I stood there five minutes or longer while three people were busy cutting and sorting meat. I asked for service and no one helped. I left and washed a Mexican lady walk up and was immediately served. I mentioned this to them and was given a confused look. This has happened to me before in another department.

My family and I have lived in East Palo Alto for a very long time. When the store used to be Mi Pueblo the service was 10x better. Today between 10:00-11:00, my mom received the worst service. She wanted to buy meat at the Carniceria and saw there was a customer ahead of her. (Context: 1 particular staff member, more than a handful of times, has answered my mom with disdain, apathy, ultimately very discourteous). My mom was waiting for her turn and heard the man ask for a specific meat she had been asking for countless times but being told it wasn’t available (by this specific staff member), so to my moms excitement she just wanted to confirm it was available with a different staff member before it was her turn. When the server attending to the gentleman ahead of my mom overheard my mom asking, she then turned to my mom and rudely spoke to her that yes there was and to wait her turn (which is obvious that my mom has to). We have received better service at other Cardenas branches and do not understand how the service has declined in the past couple of years. We hope to see it improve.
