Clothing wise - great, shop here often and always find something I love.Service wise - a true toss up. The SA’s are mean girls. I never feel comfortable asking for help as they either ignore me or stay behind the register ( even when there’s no other customer). I try to order online just to avoid the energy here.I used to be in sales at a high end shop and if I ever was this rude my manager would call it out.I get that they probably hire high school and college folks but good customer service is a life skill.

My favorite clothing brand with boho chic look that I totally love to rock! Stanford Palo Alto California store has awesome Sales Staff that are friendly & accommodating, making it my favorite Free People store. ?

Don't expect this store to be speedy with your in-store pickups. I waited 3 days last time and had to get customer service involved to cancel my order. Never again.

The movement is that this company is very very poor in Customer Service. I ordered an expensive item on 3/18/23. I had an estimated delivery date of 3/26/23. Never received the item. I called to inform the company, Free People. The Rep said to call back in a couple of days. I did that. The second Rep said to call back in a day. I did that. The third Rep said to call back the next day. I did that. I am getting the runaround. No one will help me. I even went to their Corporate and complained. I get nowhere. All I want to know is where my order is or give me a refund. Is that too much to ask? No, I do not think so. Macy's and Nordstrom have way better customer service. You all need to attend their school of excellent Customer Service.

I went to buy some clothes, and left very sad and disappointed when made aware that Free People is selling clothes that come from animals that were abused and ultimately killed. They don't have to sell these items. They have been made aware of the suffering the animals are enduring and refuse to stop selling the items. So I refuse to continue shopping there until they discontinue those items that are causing pain, misery, and death to animals.

they do have interesting styles but their quality of materials used , could be improved to match their prices. I ordered lots of things online and 50% I returned because I could get that quality for half the price!...I look for good quality clothes, if I PAY MORE I EXPECT MORE, like . from ETAM, a french store that sells here online very nice quality materials, mostly cotton mixes which are hard to find elsewhere, everything is SO synthetic.,ACRYLIC RAYON , etc. their return policy is good.

So the staff at this location isn't going out of their way to greet you, even if you walk right by them. We were in the area for a few days and I never miss a chance to go to Free People. They must be remodeling or just rearranging cause stuff was on racks that were not the easiest to access. They had regular price merchandise in the clearance area on the walls that say clearance but said it wasn't on sale. I was looking for a particular cropped jacket that showed they had low inventory for the size I was looking for in store. I had to ask the associate if they had it. I ended up buying it because I didn't want to wait to have it shipped to me and my local store already sold the ones they had.

Free people and parent co Anthropologie- WTAH are you doing? Your junior brand, Urban Outfitters, now has the same sort of pieces that FP and Anthro carry. Why? In the past, these three brands could be shopped by me and my daughter, and we would both find items. Anthro used to CREATE trends-not follow them. Now they are all cropped and cut out dresses and tops. STOP IT. Leave that for UO. FP was a delightful boho mix for young and old with tunics for me and tight fitting items for my daughter. No More. Gone are the beautiful embellished tops. Everything looks like clothing made for toddlers. Signed a very disappointed EX-customer.

No greeting upon arrival. No one asked if I needed help. I had to go to the cash register to ask someone for a fitting room. No one checked on me. I needed to go get other sizes in my own. No one acknowledged me at all. I feel like sadly this is the new norm :/ I put all my things back and left.

I cannot get greeted at this location no matter how often I stroll in. I work close by and it's become a running joke at our store. Even if I have things in my hand, the staff doesn't acknowledge me. The current team is absolutely horrible at customer service - they are always hanging around the cash wrap talking and don't bother to look up. If it's within two hours of closing don't even expect for music to be playing. This has been going on for several months, I used to be a frequent shopper and knew most of the girls by name. Such a stark contrast - I wont shop at this location ever again.

This is probably funny to read because it's genuinely baffling human behavior but this is a review for everyone who worked closing shift 04/14/2022. This Free People closes at 7pm. I walk in at 6:40 just wanting to see if they have a pair of shoes. They don't so I start walking out. I see a clothing item that's cute and mention it and talk to whoever I'm with for a little. Almost every employee is at the checkout counter. The music and all noise stops, it's dead silent. (LMAOO) Then, someone behind the checkout counter starts shaking their keys nonstop. They're just staring at me WALKING OUT while jingling the keys. Like 10 minutes before they close at this point. Anyway, it was just crazy disrespectful and they didn't say a word to me at all. Every employee is just standing there staring at me walk out while one just shakes the keys. Insane.

I LOVE the fact that I can order online, get speedy free delivery and if it doesn't fit or I change my mind, I can return in store (within 30 days.) The ladies in the Stanford shopping mall are super friendly and it's pleasure going into this particular Free People store
