Boys items I'd give an eight, but girls a three. Stanford Shopping center customer service is abysmal. I can't understand how they stay in business.

Adorable clothing and shoes. I love having some higher quality options to buy outfits for my toddler son. I recently got a very cute sweater and matching jogging pants for him. I did have an experience with a pretty sour manager with a return that didn't make me want to buy again. I bought a cute pair of shoes for my son a month ago, two days before Christmas. Christmas Day: my son tries on the shoes and they didn't fit; he didn't wear them, obviously. A month went by; I tried to return them with the receipt, and brought the shoes with me. The salesperson up front is nice but the manager comes by and sneers, "those are worn, we wouldn't sell those to you," taking out another pair of shoes to prove it. No efforts made in being amenable, just mistrust and blaming me for the state of the shoes. I appreciated the fact that she's running a business and thinks I'm trying to gain an advantage by having my toddler wear some shoes and then return them... but they were in my car for the past month. No big deal, but please, you could have just said "those are worn, we unfortunately can't take them back," and given me a smile. Next time, I'm going to Nordstrom...

I miss the way this Janie and Jack used to be! The clothes are still adorable (though pricey) but the big change I noticed today was in customer service. I've made several clothing exchanges at this store before when I've received kids clothes as gifts, the kids size & season of the clothes we bought didn't match up, etc. Today I brought in three items to exchange and the employee who tried to help me essentially rolled her eyes at me and said, "no way." I explained to hear that I've done a lot of exchanges here in the past (and the staff have always been friendly about this) but she still basically said, "too bad." So now I have a few pieces of pricey clothing that none of my kids will be able to wear. If exchanges will be very strict like this now, I'll definitely be shopping elsewhere instead of here! Nordstrom is one of many great options with consistently much better customer service.

No greeting upon arrival. Both staff members seemed bothered when I asked for a size. Older lady extremely rude searching for it stated I would need to get in another state followed with her witchy laugh. I simply said thank you and walked out. Terrible

My wife and I have purchased clothes Janie and Jack before, however this time we received some clothing as a gift, along with a gift receipt. The clothes were not exactly what we wanted, so we attempted to do a direct exchange for something different. However, they have put in a new policy that anything purchased before March 5th, 2019 cannot be exchanged or returned, EVEN IF you have the receipt. Again, we were not trying to return the item for money or anything like that, we just wanted to exchange it for something else. We will not be shopping there ever again.

We stopped in to look around at some clothing. While they had some cute things, there just was not anything we could find granted they are a small store. But, they are still definitely a good one.

Beware! I ordered online lots of thing from this store over three weeks ago and they never showed up. I had to contact them (after a 30 min wait in the phone) and the only solution they could give me was contacting my back to start a claim, since it seems the package got lost in between post offices. Unbelievable! Not even an apologize! I though the whole point of buying from more expensive stores was getting a better customer service. Never again!
