Terrible customer service! Returned an item ordered online and the Asian sales lady at the counter was so condescending and basically asked if I live near by why did I order online?? No wonder their reviews are so bad

I'm a bit perplexed at the poor reviews. I live in SF but JK is a must-stop whenever we're at Stanford. The employees have always been nothing but welcoming and thoughtful whenever we come, even when our dog escaped the fitting room and ran outside to the counter because he loves the staff. Most recently, we came 2 days before Christmas and the staff kindly set up a fitting room as soon as she saw me holding things and even brought another size without me asking so I could try both. The quality is great, so you'll pay for that, but I constantly receive compliments whenever I wear their pieces.

Beautiful store. However, the saleswoman at the counter was inattentive, when I made a return she acted as if I was not there while she scrutinized the item I was returning with her colleague (I had gently worn the item for 15 mins to try on at home) and then failed to realize I had 2 other items to return. I was planning to purchase several more items in the store but felt so unwelcome I left and will purchase online instead.

Great place if you are a XS or XXS, seriously those were the only sizes for almost every item I looked at

Not sure why the sales people here are snobbier and worst behaved out of all of Stanford Mall which includes Loro Piana and Cartier. Couldn't even pick up their heads and acknowledge me despite being the only person in their store on a Wednesday afternoon. As for the goods themselves, they're vastly overpriced for the quality. JK is a genius at merchandising a lifestyle. If you actually want soft cashmere and alpaca then check out Brochu Walker. For cotton and viscose you'll find equivalents at J Crew.

As a long time fan of Jenni Kayne I regret having to write thisI have spent thousands on this brand and recently encountered my first quality issue with a Rhodes dress. The dress tore the second time I wore it and a tailor I trust deeply told me a repair would not look right. I reached out expecting Jenni Kayne to be responsible and trustworthy brand. They refused to take action. It's unacceptable for such a "high-end brand" to treat customers this way.DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Take it elsewhere where companies actually respect and value their customers and stand behind their products.

There is an older woman who works in the Larkspur store who makes me feel so unwelcome. I love the clothes and own many pieces but I'd rather shop online than try to be nice to someone who doesn't have the skill set to just be kind. She acts like she can't be bothered.

Very nice clothes! The customer service is great again (it had dipped in quality for a while but it’s back). Clothes are def a bit overpriced for the amount of pilling you deal with. I have about 15 their sweaters so obviously there is waaay more positive about them than negative. But get a cashmere comb. Lol

Palo Alto store- TERRIBLE customer service and experience. Kyra has such a nasty attitude and wasn't helpful or warm at all. Didn't bother to ask if I needed any assistance or even acknowledge my presence. I will not be purchasing from this store again. I rather purchase online.

This is a review for the Marin Country Mart location, which does not exist on yelp for some reason. I keep getting ads for this brand on my Instagram, so I thought I would go in and check it out. The quality of the products looked nice, the color range was very neutral but for a sweater, it could work. The woman behind the counter greeted the person who came in before me and the person who came in after me. I thought that maybe she didn't see me come in, so I looked over and smiled at her (okay I was wearing a mask but my eyes smiled). She glared at me. I went through the whole store thinking I might try a few things on but the salesperson ignored me while she chatted and helped the other two customers. as they left, she said goodbye to them. I decided not to try anything on. She ignored me on the way out too. I went on to shop at a few other stores at the mart and was treated normally by everyone else, so not sure what the issue was here but I think I'm good without Jenni Kaye in my life.

This place used to be a great place to shop. However, their customer service has gone so far downhill it’s non-existent. If you order, know your size, and have zero issues you’re fine but if you try and contact them through the email they provide- you’ll get a generic response and nothing afterwards. Their clothing also pulls but I use a cashmere comb so it’s manageable. However, if I’m spending thousands of dollars within a year, it’d be nice to at least be able to get a hold of someone.

I love the aesthetic of this brand and how lowkey it is. If you're looking for luxury that isn't noticeable or well known, this is the brand for you. I've invested in a lot of Jenni Kayne pieces and my favorite product is the cashmere fisherman turtleneck. It's the most perfect winter sweater and I have it in three colors. Unfortunately, I've had my share of quality issues with this brand. I had one cashmere fisherman sweater rip in two places (after only a handful of wears as I work from home) and a jacket that stained very easily. I've also noticed that the sandals sustain damages/scratches pretty easily and is very delicate. That being said, the customer service at the Palo Alto location is *GREAT* and I was surprised to see the amount of negative reviews left on here. They gladly replaced an item for me and when it still wasn't working out, they offered me a return.
