Started coming to this studio in March/April 2022 and loved it so much I decided to work here! The community at this studio is great - very diverse which makes for an inclusive space. I've never felt so comfortable in a workout class, and I love that the instructors are so encouraging while pushing you to get a good workout in. They're really good about offering modifications to lower or increase the intensity of the workout and I've never felt judged for taking a modification. It's been great to find a routine I'm excited about :)

The trainers at Pure Barre are top notch and professional. I also like that a majority of the attendees are there to work out, not just socialize!!

TERRIBLE customer service! I treked almost 45 min in traffic after work to get to class and was turned away because I was ONE minute late. The receptionist didn't seem to feel bad or care. Will never be returning and have suggested that my friends do the same.

I had a really terrific first class with pure barre! The team was extremely welcoming and the class was rigorous (in a really, really good way!). The instructor was clear and great at describing how to correct form while maintaining a social distance. I also really appreciate that a great barre work-out can be done safely -- at a social distance and without any equipment other than a yoga mat/towel that you bring for yourself.

I've taken classes here before but decided to get back to the barre. I like this location because it's close to work for me and they have a lot of morning or evening classes when you go either before or after work. I just recently took my first class in a long time with Rakiya. She greeted me before class since I was practically new again. I talked to the front desk and she went over the various memberships you can get. At 30.00 for a single class, that's pricey. I bought a 4-pack, which gets you 20.00 per class, a chunk of savings. It does not have to automatically renew every month, you can cancel if you don't want it. I would do classes more often but this is what my budget is for now. I've always taken the classic classes and find them so therapeutic, especially the music and stretches with the bands at the end. I just tried my first empower class and I was nervous! I've been told you sweat a lot more and it is true! It's a good workout and adds an extra punch with the cardio benefit. Download the pure barre app as you can set goals for yourself. Also, I have to add, the next day everything was sore! It is an effective workout if you want to improve and strengthen your core. The exercises are challenging and each instructor switches up the routines so you won't get bored. My only suggestion is to turn the music down a little bit because it was a little too loud and hard to hear instructions. I look forward to my next class!

My wife has been rambling on about this place. She took Mary's class and she was hooked. Energy was great and Mary made her feel right at home. Two thumbs up.

This is my favorite local fitness studio by far! The instructors are very encouraging, and the community is friendly and inviting. I'm always impressed by how upbeat and varied the routines are and how quickly an hour goes by. Classes are low-impact enough to take every day if you want. Barre gets easier as you get stronger, but it's never easy! Pure Barre workouts are fast-paced, and the instructors aren't as nit-picky with form corrections as other studios. I can see this teaching style being confusing for people who are new to barre, but I personally prefer it because it's more challenging and never boring. I genuinely look forward to coming to class, and Mary's studio challenges add extra motivation to show up and work hard.

It's an addiction! I've been doing pure barre for over two years now and every class is still a challenge. They constantly switch up the workouts and challenge you to use your own body's resistance, so the work never gets easy. Out of the many studios I've been to, I specifically love the friendly and helpful staff at PB Palo Alto, and I've found there's such a nice community here. Highly recommend!

Great workout and really professional and encouraging teachers. I tried other barre classes but quickly lost interest until I tried Pure Barre. The upbeat music and changing routines keep it fun!

Overall, I recommend this location because I love pure barre. I have gone to many locations in the US. However, compared to other studios, this studio is stuffy and too warm. The mirrors get fogged up and the room feels humid. Pure Barre is tough but not a sweaty workout. The instructors are friendly and helpful but when I tried it at Palo Alto I was told I would get a free class...even after I told them I had done Pure Barre before and that I go to Boise and have been to man

I have tried many of the barre studios in the area through classpass, but once I tried pure barre it only took a few classes before I was a convert. The classes can get full, but only occasionally feel overbooked. Parking is easy unless you come for the lunch hour class. The classes here are much more challenging than other barre classes I have tried, and you can depend on a good workout regardless of who the instructor is because they are all consistent. After about 3 months of coming about 4-5 times a week, I haven't seen any major changes and I'm not convinced that barre alone is a sufficient workout. However as a supplement to any other workout, I can't praise them enough!

I decided to join Pure Barre Palo Alto on a whim and I am so happy I did. All the instructors are great at teaching, passionate, kind and welcoming. It is a great work out community and not to mention the fabulous results!
