My first time getting my necklace cleaned. I was greeted and they were nice enough to accommodate me coming in earlier for my cleaning appointment. The necklace was clean and shiny, and I was in and out within 10 minutes.

Recently came in to shop for wedding bands with my fiancée. Judy Xu was assigned to us and we had a terrible experience. She profiled us as never having tried rings before which made us feel lowly. After trying the rings we wanted to try, we told her we needed more time to think and would order online later. Instead of offering to help us with the purchase and giving us a business card, she had the gall to start lecturing us and insulting my fiancée telling her that this isn't like clothing shopping, that these aren't factory produced and the gemstones would be different but neither of our rings have any gemstones. We understand she wanted us to order through her, for commission, but her pushiness was really disgusting and off-putting for us. On top of her reasoning being dumb: that us purchasing through her would give us a better ring rather than ordering online. Admitting that her own company has poor quality control on their products. When we asked what the difference between ordering through her versus ordering online is, she told us that we might receive defective items and would have to go through complicated processes of returning the rings. She then said another difference was that she would put the online order in for us... but that's the same thing as us ordering it online for ourselves. She finally stopped lecturing us and gave us her business card ONLY when my fiancée said we would come back to buy the ring through her.If she just gave us her business card and let us go, instead of giving us a lecture we would have loved to purchase through her. We came to have a great time ring shopping and found ourselves standing there being scolded like children because we said we'd order online later. We really wanted to buy these rings to wear for the rest of our lives, but now we're hesitant to buy them because we'll always be reminded of this experience whenever we look at the rings on our fingers. We were so ready to go ahead with this big purchase, but now she gave us doubts about the quality. How could one salesperson destroy one of our happiest moments just to push for a commission? We don't understand and we are absolutely devastated. We don't want anyone else to have similar experiences here with Judy.

It's very hard to find out the price of a long wallet, they have to let more than 2 people to search it and need a lot of time.BTW, i can speak English because i only need to know the price. In the meanwhile, it is not ok to ask me where i bought single alphabet -- i bought it 4 years ago, in the US, different State --understand?Terrible service attitude I've never seen at Tiffany in the world. They look at you from their nose hole.

Pretty bad service at this location.Came in on a Wednesday morning to ask for a cleaning service, there were no one to greet customers and there were only 1 customer trying a necklace. All the counter people were somehow inside the door. They finally came out after a few minutes. They said the cleaning service will take 24 to 72 hours with appt. The reason is that they are so busy!? But I asked a location in OC last week and they said it would just take few minutes.I will go somewhere else instead of this location if u want to get treated right..

We were helped by Judy for the purchase of our wedding bands. She was simply lovely, as was the rest of the staff! We had been in just one week prior but they didn’t have what we wanted in stock, so they offered to transfer it from another store. It arrived in just a few days and Judy stayed in contact with me the entire time. They made our special moment just PERFECT. They even served us champagne to celebrate! Thank you so much for being so thoughtful. We are customers for life.

I came here today to return my online order. The lady took my earrings inside of my package brown box and brought back out since the original form of payment require the physical card to be with me. I totally understood and took the package box with me. I got in my car and opened the box, there was no white bow to wrap around the Tiffany box so it was wide open. I checked the Tiffany pocket, it wasn’t even tighten up and one earring was missing. Thankfully found it in the package box - it must had flown out. I was shocked that she didn’t return in original condition nor didn’t tie up the jewelry bag to secure it. I could’ve just totally lost it and would’ve been my fault. So unprofessional and will never be back at this location. They need to train their employees better.Expected more since they newly opened the store at the Stanford mall location .

Insulted and bothered. Shopping for my birthday yesterday and almost decided not to purchase. Salesperson “Sophie” was unsure if she should call in our credit purchase prior to swiping the card. My husband had purchased a few days prior without any issue but this time our credit card was taken to the back of the store for a “call”. The other salesperson returned with the card and ask, “Why?” She didn’t even know what she was calling for. This left a poor impression of Tiffany’s which my husband almost decided not to purchase at all. I have several pieces from Tiffany’s & Co. But this is the first visit to this store and we have never been treated this way.Your staff need to be trained properly on credit purchases. I would hate to believe that this was done because of our skin color.-Insulted at Tiffany & Co.

Beware. This iconic store does not stand behind what it sells. How sad. “Sorry, we don’t make that anymore. Sorry, we can’t fix it. Sorry,. I’m sorry too. No one should shop here ever again.

Making a return from a purchase in Maui was quick & painless. Walked in, stated I was making a return, they opened both boxes & credited our card back. Done I would have hoped they would have asked why I was returning two pairs of earrings, on the chance they could resolve my displeasure but they never asked. I purposefully didn't bring up the topic just to see how the experience would play out & I had decided I could live without those earrings, so it was no critical loss for me to return, but still.......So overall, this experience was OK since on the one hand, the return was easy & they ask no questions but on the other hand, they ask no questions. I might have kept the earrings had they been willing to correct my issue but now we'll never know

What an amazing experience from start to finish! I had made an appointment initially to come to this Tiffany's to shop for an engagement ring. I had provided the ring style I was looking for, my budget range, and the approximate carat weight that I wanted, and a prompt follow-up email and text was provided shortly afterwards, assigning Michael as my rep. On the day of my appointment, Michael was there to greet me when I arrived, and I was led to a private room in the back, where he had two different rings prepared for me to look at. I initially chose one of the two rings, and had him hold onto it for me while I went home to decide. A few days later while browsing Tiffany's website, I noticed another ring of specifications more closely aligned with my preference, and reached out to Michael asking if he could get ahold of the ring for me so I could examine it in person. Not only was he able to accommodate, he had the ring shipped to the store the next day so I could examine it right away. I wound up falling in love with the ring, and purchased it on the spot. Because I was planning to propose soon, he even managed to have the ring sent off for engraving and re-sizing with a rush order, so I could get it shipped back from New York in time for my proposal. After the proposal, my fiancée unfortunately needed the ring re-sized a few times before finally finding the perfect fit. Michael was there most of the trips, and personally ensured that we received amazing service, offering great, professional advice, and overall made the experience extremely memorable. We had chose to visit the Walnut Creek location during one of our re-sizings, being that the location there was closer to us, but the experience we had was quite a far cry to our trips to Palo Alto. Everything from the personalized shopping experience, the no-pressure sales engagement, to the continued commitment to an amazing and memorable experience makes the Palo Alto Tiffany's location one which we will be returning to for all of our future Tiffany's jewelry purchases!
