My experience yesterday with the Volvo service department was an excellent one. Rowen Ledwith, the service rep, was superb. He calmly answered all my questions and concerns and was quick to respond to my calls and texts. Thank you, Rowen.

Rowan did a great job on the services of my polastar. In clouding the paperwork, mechanic check with free ride service. Completed promptly. Strongly recommend !!! Five star!

I strongly assert that the Volvo Cars Palo Alto has egregiously breached their commitments.Despite canceling the Tire and Wheel Protection Insurance in September 2023, the promised full refund check has not materialized even after nearly four months of persistent inquiries.Furthermore, their pledge to donate $1,000 on my behalf, emphasizing values, integrity, and trust, has proven to be nothing more than empty rhetoric. The management's attempt to backtrack on their promise, settling for a meager $250 donation, is an affront to both honesty and accountability. Five months after the completion of my order, there has been no fulfillment of this commitment, despite repeated inquiries.Such blatant disregard for promises and ethical standards is utterly unacceptable and warrants immediate redress.

We had fantastic experience buying new XC60 recharge at Volvo Palo Alto. George was our sales person. He kept in touch and updated us on the progress with timely email/texts as he had to find the specific car for us. He knows the product and really work with you to find the right car with features. We would definitely work with George in the future.

We had our car serviced at Volvo Palo Alto last week and our whole experience absolutely warrents a 5 star review! Kris Bonnett, our service agent, was exceptional! Courteous and efficient she quickly registered my car, only to discover that I had mistakenly come in a day early. It was easy to see that they were fully booked that day but Kris assured me that they would do their best to fit me in. Kris communicated with me via text through the day and eventually let me know that they could indeed fit me in before the days end. Brilliant! Our mechanic was great too and he texted several videos of parts of the car as it was being serviced.Great customer service from everyone! Thank you!

Ray and Freddie were extremely caring and attentive. The other two gentlemen at the desk were as well. I have a splint cast on my right hand from a fracture 10/31.They were extremely helpful, held door open as they drove me, offer to help with my dog and what I was carrying. There is a Volvo dealer closer to me, in Burlingame, but I have always preferred the service at your facility. Thank you

Allen Vaught was enormously helpful in showing us your various models, accompanying us on test drives and completing the purchase documentation. He is a super star salesman, and a very nice person to deal with.

I had the pleasure of working with George on our XC40 Recharge purchase. This was the best and most streamlined car purchase I’ve ever had. In and out of the dealership in less than an hour, and we’re really enjoying the new car!

Review for Chris in POLESTAR service.Absolutely zero customer service provided. My Polestar 2 has been to this dealership once for regular scheduled maintenance and she was already not the most professional. She is the only Polestar advisor at this location. Fast forward 10 mos and I need a repair on a malfunction. I've called and left messages over a week and she never calls back. This has made me reconsider owning a Polestar in the Bay Area since there are only 2 dealerships for service.

We were on a roadtrip traveling from out of town, passing through Palo Alto when we experienced charging issues with our EV, with very little battery left to travel to our next destination. Fortunately, there was the Volvo dealership and servicing department nearby so we brought it in to try and get this issue resolved. We are so grateful that we did this because Jesse and the rest of the Volvo team treated us with first-class service and we were back up and running the next day after careful troubleshooting to fix this significant issue. If the circumstances were that we lived nearby then we would definitely be coming back for all Volvo related services ?

Great experience at Volvo PA. I bought a used Polestar and brought it in for service. The team was very helpful - Kris Bonnett was very friendly and got me in and out quickly, and organized my pickup / drop off very efficiently. The GM was even nice enough to come say hi. Really appreciate the effort and customer focus from the team!

Volvo cars Palo Alto is the best car buying experience I have had. And I have purchased a lot of cars over the years. Make sure you ask for Jared as your sales representative. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and makes for a great buying experience. He goes out of his way to provide customer service that meets your needs.

I recently went back so they could do some touch up work on the vehicle I purchased. Again they exceeded my expectations. I did not expect them to paint a section of the car and provide me with a loaner for 2 weeks. I am very pleased with their staff and their attention to detail!

Volvo of Palo Alto is a great place to buy a car. I bought an XC90 from Cynthia in 2021 and she bend over backwards to help me get my car, including delivering it to me at Stanford while my kid was sick. If it was just that experience it would have been 5 stars, no question. Unfortunately, every experience after that has been abysmal. For example:I called to book a service in July, and I was proudly told that they were over booked and wouldn't be able to see me until mid September. I do mean proudly. I didn't catch her name but it was not Liz, who I will address later on. It felt like she was happy to encourage me to not do business with them. I understand that services aren't sexy but I am a client that bought at this dealership which means I can do so again. It seems pretty d*** to actively and happily send me elsewhere. I came in for my service a month and a half later, and the people there are great. I work was done on time and at the cost I was told. So this is fine. I did receive a text from Elsa asking to buy my car. I usually buy a new Volvo every 4 years, and this was a little early, but I replied that I was interested in talking about it. NO RESPONSE. After my service a grinding on my break pads as I was breaking a slow speeds gradually developed over two weeks. It's now very loud, and I'm concerned about the safety of driving my vehicle as it involves the breaks. I called this AM and Liz told me that the earliest they could see me is October 31st. I could almost hear her smirking while saying this. I told her that I recently had a service there, and I was concerned about safety after the work they did, and she gladly suggested that I go to Autonation in San Jose to get it looked it as there was nothing she could do to help me. I didn't get the sense at all that she gave a single care in world that I didn't feel safe with the work that the company she represented recently did. If this was my store, I would have said something like "hey I'm so sorry, we're totally booked up but bring it by and we'll take a quick look. If something needs to get done asap we can help get it to Autonation with you". I'm happy paying for stuff, that's not the issue, it's the lack of any kind of service or care that seems to be the norm here. My takeaway from this is a couple of things. First, Volvo of Palo Alto is only interested in selling a car. Even when there's a safety concern on a service that they just performed, the attitude is screw you, go to the big box dealer down the way because we don't have time for you. My second takeaway is that since this is not one experience, but many, over a couple of years and over a few different associated, that this is a cultural issue of this particular dealership. To me, this means that either owner/s don't know or don't care that clients are being left to fend on their own for anything other than buying a car, and even when a buying opportunity presents itself, for it to be ignored. I can't imagine that many business owners would by happy to hear that a buying cash client feels the way I do right now. This is their mission statement from their website:"At Volvo Cars of Palo Alto, our mission is to meet all our customers' Volvo and auto-related needs"For me, they have failed at this multiple times. I hope this isn't everyone's experience.Update: I have it in writing that Volvo checked my back breaks and said there were 5mm left on the pads. I took it to another place just 2.5 weeks later and they said the brake pads were totally shot, metal on metal. Pads and rotors had to be replaced for an additional charge to me for work that should have been caught at Volvo.
