The people here are great. But the bank recently installed new ATMs and half the time they are out of cash. It's a complete joke. Weird the managers seem not to even care.

Takes hours to close a simple account. On site "banker" has no authority to verify documents nor make a decision without lengthy (1 hour +) phone support - essentially a clerk.

In 2004 when my father died, I became guardian to my older sister. From 2005 until September 10, 2019, I had my sister living in apartments in Palo Alto. On September 10, 2019, she was evicted and became homeless at this time. Because I never became her conservator in the State of California, I had very little control in helping her. In December of 2019 with the help of Sargent Sunseri with the Palo Alto Police Department homeless group, I was able to have Cherie taken in for evaluation and hospitalized. I have since become her conservator. Since December 2019, I have had Cherie confined to a hospital lock down facility. This past year when I became her conservator, I decided to close a savings account referenced above. When I went to the bank, I discovered that there was only $125.74 left in the account. If you review the attached June 30, 2020 bank statement, the account only had $1,560.71 and someone at the bank withdrew $700.00 out of my sister's account during the past period. The Wells Fargo Claim I filed for $1,000.00, claim# 151411251 will probably not be enough to cover the thefts from my sister's savings account. Can someone at the bank claims department tell me what is going on with my sister's account. All my contact information is listed below and I have copied my attorney in California. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Pat Cooke

I love banking at this Branch. Customer Service is excellent. Sad that they had to relocate.

Its a tense time with people sick, but I come to this bank every week for an advance and $2 bills for my business. Today, Foong was opening the door for people and when I arrived asks, "What do you need?" I tell him I need an advance withdrawal and he then asked, "...and what else?" I remind the guy I come to the bank every week and he informs me of papers on the door handling other business. I tell him I was at the bank taking care of the same info as last week and he takes the stance of someone who is seeking a reason NOT allow me to enter the bank, telling me to go wait in a place three feet from where I am standing. These gatekeepers are getting outta hand. I go inside and he follows me inside and decides to monitor my transaction with his contagious anxiety. I tell him and the teller that the contempt I am shown is obvious and borderline prejudice. Foong's excuse is "You look different." I tell HE looks different and ask for six feet to finish my transaction. He just started at me while the teller conveniently tells me the card didn't go thru and can only be tried once. I look at the balance again and call her on her bullsh*t and she is ending the transaction before I know it. I am choose not to join this cowboy banking club specifically because of the lack of service trainer from the employees and their contempt.

While not all of my experiences with Wells Fargo have been optimal my time today with Personal Banker Rafael Barragan was about as good as it gets. Although I arrived at the branch having no appointment Rafael was prompt in greeting me and learning of my need. Not only was Rafael competent and efficient he was also friendly and thoughtful. As he worked through my need to resolution he truly went above and beyond. He even discovered an issue I was unaware of that could have put my account security at risk and quickly righted the situation. Thank you, Rafael, for your courteous and professional care- I very much appreciate it! Sincerely, La Joie

Okay, what's going on at this branch? I've never had a bad experience at Wells Fargo but you'd think I came in and immediately insulted someone the way I was treated. The person (Mimi) "helping" me refused to listen to my request before immediately shutting me down. She picked apart my whole request telling me I didn't need certain things which I definitely did since it's for a government process. It's also disappointing being sent here from a different branch being promised this branch could definitely help me which they clearly couldn't. So you can't fufill my request, big deal, stop being rude about it.

I needed to set up an annuity very quickly. Contacted several of my banks. All of them said it would take at least two weeks. For some banks, just getting hold of an annuity specialist took me a long time. But Annie in this branch told me it would be two to five days. Lo and behold it only took two days. I can't be any more happier. I was really impressed because she called me a few times just to give me an update of the application process, knowing I needed it very urgently. As a whole, the people working in this bank are very courteous and interacting with them was a good experience.

I know its not hard to find reasons to bank at other than Wells Fargo, but here's one you may not have heard. My beneficiary for my accounts (I'm 70) moved and all I wanted to do was change their address in the WF computers. I was not allowed without them (the beneficiary) present (3,000 miles away) and it is MY choice of beneficiary. They did not have to be there when I selected them and filled out forms to appoint them originally. I was asked bizarre questions such as "do they know they are your beneficiary?" (none of WF's business) and told they had to appear in person even though they are not a WF customer nor do they have information on MY accounts. They were worried about identity theft (truth) by changing my daughter's address to her new and current address. Run around online, at Hamilton and even worse in Menlo Park. they are unworthy of my business. And yours. 41 years with Wells Fargo that will end soon as I interview other banks.

Slowest Wells Fargo ever. I've been here 15 minutes and the line has not moved. And there is literally nobody ahead of me. The poor guy behind me just left. Branch manager(?) has not acknowledged me. Will only be back for emergencies.

This Wells Fargo Bank is centrally located in the heart of Palo Alto. The larger building is somewhat of a headquarter as you will notice the historical photos on the wall. The mural behind the tellers is another historical illustration of Wells Fargo's presence. Parking lot gets full and is quite narrow. However, the drive around the bank's neighborhood is scenic because of the beautiful homes near Stanford University.

Super friendly staff. Ever made jokes with our little one... Rafael is a very pleasant, helpful and experienced account manager. In my opinion, this store and Wells Fargo at all, they have good pros, it was easy to open a bank account as we moved to the US, but I think some conditions and internal regulations are better at other banks.

I am so mad. I deposited a $89,000.00 check on the atm. I have never had any problems with WFB so I felt ok doing that. Long story short, they took the deposit out and are supposedly sending me a copy of the check, not the real check. The reason- the check was made out to my trust, not me. Yet I am the trustee and legal signer on the trust. So, my 89K is floating around in the mail somewhere for who knows how long! Whatever happened to being able to endorse a check? Or simply CALLING ME, a supposedly valued premier customer, to let me know what is going on???

I've been here a couple times recently and the workers here are always so nice and helpful! There's always someone greeting me right when I walk through the door. The line never takes that long, even on a Saturday morning. All the tellers are knowledgeable and work quickly and efficiently. I always have a good and welcoming experience here!

Worst service. They are closing a business account that I've had for years. Now I need to go out and find another bank and open a new account. I just ordered checks, so now I've wasted that money.
