What a pity that the iconic Wells Fargo stage Coach brand & frame of reference has been completely eliminated on the Wells Fargo office, in Palo Alto on California Avenue... When you walk in it is bland, sterile white with no character - it looks like a doctors office and in fact my first impression was that it was actually going out of business... Whoever thought this was a great design really needs to rethink it - such a pity for a classic to be ruined

Went in today to get help on a transaction. I had an appointment for 10:30am. Because of some challenge, the appointment with the banker got double booked. Cece went out of the way to check on me while I was waiting in the lobby and get me timely support. She made sure all my concerns were addressed. Made my Friday a lot easier. Thank you Cece!

I am a USAA member, not a Wells Fargo account holder. I needed to withdraw cash above the limit allowed at the ATM and Eddie was a huge help. He was patient while I called USAA and was friendly and professional. Thanks Eddie!

Note: Someone tried to get this review removed. I was notified. Pretty disgusting that you would try that. I'm here at closing time at the bank. I work nearby and was hoping I could stop by before they close. I rushed to the bank and fortunately got in before the locked the door. I just watched an old man walk towards the bank as fast as he could and get turned away. He got here on time, it just took him more time to walk from the car to the door and they turned him away. Is this what a Wells Fargo means by great customer service? I just watched a Hispanic man around his 20s turn him away right by the door. Would it really have made that big of a difference to take him? I'm disgusted by the lack of humanity I saw here.

I had a weird experience here. While the tellers are busy tending to the people in line, everyone else that works here were just lazying around like waiting for apples to fall down the tree. They can definitely be more useful by tending to customers who are waiting in line and at least ask if theres anything they need help with. Lastly, I dont really appreciate that towards the end you want to snoop on me on what other banks I use other than them. Thats none of your business!

Met with a banker to increase my atm withdrawal to $500 instead of $300. First he asked me why. That is none of his business what I do with my money or why I would want the ability to withdraw $500 in cash from my checking account. After more chit chat he gives me a form verifying that the request was approved and I now can withdraw $500 from the atm. So why do I get a call the FOLLOWING day that he made a mistake and the request was not approved? Now I have to go into another bank and waste more time. What a joke

I've been waiting 50 min. and all I want to do is open my safe deposit box with my key. It's been many years since we have done so, do they don't have an entry form for me to sign in. I have had to show my license twice and my key and I still am waiting. I've been banking with Wells Fargo for 20 years. They are saying the box is closed, but we never closed it and I have items in it. They said we never made a payment. Now, they are checking on the items.

The tellers are so awesome I usually come around 11am ish due to my lunch being at that time but the tellers are so nice their always asking "how am I, how was your weekend, any plans for the weekend?" Just anything to stir up a conversation so it's not Awkward. They get me in and out at a sufficient timely manner. I live in San Jose and I just think it's just convenient to go to this branch for one its close to my job and for two they know me already or they act like they know me so it just makes them stand out even more than the other branches.

I don't even know where to start. These people are so horribly incompetent I do not understand why these people are still in business. Aside of all the damn fees that they love to charge for every damn little thing. As a working professional they are not at all convenient or respectful of your time! Something so simple can not be completed at this location. I was trying to be proactive and went in a couple days before to get information on how to complete a foreign exchange transaction. I was told that they were going to "place a order" of the exact amount that I needed. This amount was not even much to start out with... Yes I know, WTH was I thinking.... Before the pickup date I even called the teller / foreign exchange representative to verify that they money was available she stated yes!! The next day I go in to pick up the money and what happened.... they did not order the full amount requested! Uggggghhhhhh......So much for being pro-active and organized..... I really do not understand how they could not get a simple order correct.... WTF!!!!! They are a very incompetent bunch of workers, also instead of doing something about fixing the problem they just try to make a more even complicated move involving my bank account in which I was exchanging cold hard cash for this transaction..... I am sorry this is even a bigger inconvenience for me being that I HATE AUTO PAY!!! To involve my account during the time that I am paying bills.... uhhhh.... Hell No...... They are the biggest group of incompetent people that waste your time and cannot think out side of the box...... Truly upsetting experience........

I've always had good personalized service here. For example, the personal bankers were very patient with my 78 year old parents, setting up their accounts, dealing with them while they were in India, etc. They made a very large bank feel small and personal.
