The good: This store is so organized and clean. They have tons of Easter stuff on sale! Their clothes section wasn't bad for a drug store! They had a wide selection of water shoes and water toys for kids. They have local gifts like Palos Verdes hats. They sold snacks that they also sell at Whole Foods like flavored dried chick peas. In fact, the front shelf is dedicated to healthy snacks and is nicely lit up. I came for Afrin and I was glad they sold many different kinds in different sizes with generic equivalents. They have a self-check out area. The store is spacious and spread out. There's plenty of parking. The bad: I couldn't find Jello powder. There were missing price tags on some items. The interesting: I've worked for CVS before further north and vow to never do it again.

One of the worst customer service I've ever seen at a pharmacy!! Rude, arrogant, and unhelpful staff. There were a very old couple ahead of me and I heard their entire conversation as they were a little hard in hearing and also processed information slower so the conversation was a little loud. The pharmacy staff were very rude and short with the old couple, which were trying to understand why their medication that they needed so desperately was costing them $800!! It broke my heart to see them walk out slowly in defeat and extremely worried that they could have not afford the meds they needed. They could have been any of our grandparents. I ran after them and advised them to check with Costco, their pharmacy is far better priced for out of pocket meds compared to CVS. CVS is highway robbery in every aspect... I also educated them about the Good RX site, and how sometimes their prices are lower than Costco with coupons... they were so thankful and I saw a little bit of hope in their eyes... if I could afford it I would but their meds for them, it was a heart breaking scene... meanwhile the pharmacy staff could not wait to get rid of them even thought there was no one waiting in the line except for me and I was already being helped at the second window... any decent human being would have at least given them the information about checking Good RX or Costco... now coming to my own dilemma with them, I was actually picking up a medicine for an elderly person and when I got home and read the instructions it was extremely confusing and unclear... I called the next day to ask questions from the pharmacist and guess what? They couldn't be more short and rude on the phone with me as well. If you can, AVOID THIS CVS pharmacy!!

This CVS has people that don't know how to work. Rude and inconsiderate. Had to deal with a lady named Yessenia and she was super rude at checkout. I will not come back to this location. Didn't help me with anything.

The staff here are total dead heads. They act as though they are huffing glue, each and every time we deal with them. It is a disgrace to CVS. Most recently we were told the prescriptions were unavailable. We instated the pharmacist check, and they found out the prescription was available and processed. They just didn't feel like checking. That is their job, but this is the standard for this location. It befuddles the mind...the manager here is long overdue for being escorted out with a last paycheck.

The cashier charged me for a donation that he didn’t ask me for. It was deceptive for them to be doing that. Will never shop at this CVS again.

I am done with the CVS, Palos Verdes and I am now happy to pay $25 more at a private pharmacy with good service! Almost every time I go to CVS they have the dollar amount wrong. This involves going back to the drop off line, standing in line and then going again to the pick up line and standing in line. Sometimes this is an hour long process! The people that work there are nice enough, but no one knows what’s going on! And frankly, it’s just a 9 to 5 job for them! They don’t care if they run out of medication, which happens often! For me this is a big deal! When I go five days without my medication they don’t give me five extra pills, to use in case this happens again! They really don’t care.. And why should they? It’s just a nine to 5 job… punch the clock, go home. It’s not their personally owned business!I have now finally changed pharmacy’s where there is personal service and they do actually care! And it is worth the extra cost! I actually was so stressed out at the end of the month when it was time to get my medicine again!Anyway, just letting you know!

Pharmacy Review: Would give 0 stars if possible. It is incredible that they turn away people at 1:28pm with the excuse that they're going to lunch at 1:30 when there's multiple people attending the prescription pick-ups. Why do you need all your customer-facing employees to go on lunch at the same time? All it did was create a 10-15 people line and make us lose time.Unbelievable bad scheudle planning and horrible customer service for people that need prescriptions fast.

Visited CVS 901silver Spur Rd. Rolling Hills, CA pharmacy today to pick up my prescription. I have Medicare, Medigap by Blue Shield of Ca and Silverskript drug coverage. The price for 25 days supply I was quoted was 485 dollars and five cents. Asked for the pharmacist. She said there’s nothing she can do to help and call Silverscripts to find out.Called Silverscripts and was told about new policy changes for this year with $500 dollars deductible.Got home googled my medication and found 75 percent coupon discount for CVS prescription. Called the CVS for repricing was on hold for 13 minutes, then someone picked up and put me back on hold. Please advise on how I should proceed.I do have a discount card with the authorization ready for use.Thank you

First, the employees are great as is the pharmacy. This is solely related to management/corporate, it's ridiculous that you Rey upon self service kiosks, half of which never work, and that constantly need attention from staff that you fail to provide. Sticking one employee solo to check out regular customers and assist the self check problems is pretty Walmart-esque.

My visit to CVS was excellent. My rewards account was used. My coupons were accepted. The store had a self checkout that was convenient.

Even before covid. The lines are ridiculously long and wait times are just awful. I'm always told they have 1 pharmacist. And it's usually at peak hours , actually almost all hours. Noting has changed and has got worse since 2019. Yes I could go elsewhere but this is where all my scrips go. Come on cvs :/

I love the personnel at this CVS! They are extremely helpful & personable—just a wonderful group!!! I have a suggestion re: picking up Covid tests. There should be some sign as soon as you enter the store that indicates you need to get on the “Drop off” line at the pharmacy to give your insurance info.I went there today, and after asking, I was told to go to the pharmacy. I waited on the pharmacy line for 20 min. Then was told to got to the drop off window. I waited another 15 min. My info was taken, & then I was told to go back to the pharmacy window in 20-30 min to pick up the tests. There were 2 other people doing exactly what I was doing, and all for lack of a simple sign. This is a simple fix in my opinion, and would save time for those trying to get home to a sick family member.

I was ordered to leave the store since I refuse to enter my birthdate to purchase Benadryl. Is it customary to throw out a customer for refusing to input birthdates. I was only trying to purchase over the counter drugs. Note I did become frustrated and tossed the Benadryl into the employee’s hands. Did that justify throwing out a customer

Is it customary to be thrown out of the premises for refusing to input personal information ( birthdate) just to purchase over the counter drugs ie: Benadryl. I was thrown out of the store for tossing the product into the employee's hands because he wouldn't let me purchase the product because I refused to give personal information. This is the poorest customer service I have seen or experienced ever.
