“I like it but the prices are mostly all the time over a dollar and then I think like "what's the point" you know? But I like how there are Takis at the front of the store once you enter it.”
“It has almost anything you could need if you are an artist that paints, or someone that uses a sketchbook.
They have materials for you to make your own custom canvas and high quality paints in different mediums. The store also has a good variety of sketchbooks to choose from, made for most mediums. (They also have cute washi tape that I love).
For it being a smaller sized store compared to the average supply store, it’s filled to the brim with great materials. I love going there for materials. It is the best art supply store I’ve ever shopped at.”

“Fantastic! A gem of a place to make the highest quality products. But be aware! Take your time. Warping in the molds can cause major problems. So ask careful questions and get more opinions than one, as each material is very specific. You can also call them or there are tons of resources online.
Be very aware with shrinking in mold materials, especially if using latex. It greatly shrinks, especially if molding large objects. I lost weeks of work to learn this by mistake. Here’s a few molds for a client, now it’s scrap! Remaking with Brush-on material. Brush-on also shrinks, especially when adding thicker types of brush-on series with thinner types (ie. brush-on 35 with 40) for added strength.”
“As an artist I use the framing services of Hobby Lobby Burbank. The employees there are very kind and helpful. They give excellent service. I often work with Patricia and Justin. I can’t thank them enough!”
“Dan is the Man. Knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to all my urethane, silicone and casting needs. As an F/X artist, I've depended on Silpak products and Dan's expertise for decades now. Everything I need under one roof.”
“I love this store but Saturdays are pretty busy and I couldn't get help at the fabric cutting counter, which is why im not giving it a 5. I left without the fabric.”
“Super helpful staff to get exactly what I needed. In a great location to buy gifts with stores nearby like m fedric Barnes noble urban outfitters etc. plenty of party both on street and a nearby lot.”
“This is a fine product and a very careful company. I did not know what to expect with a non-wood frame (and I frame my own frequently), but this is excellent. A casual observer will not know. Further, it is a very attractive frame, regardless of material. It came with a backing board (Yea! Surprise) and perfect plexiglass protected on both sides with peel-off padding. The frame was well wrapped in bubble wrap. Keep up the good work.”
“As we all know due to this pandemic we were not allowed to go inside. But we did have the opportunity to place an order online and pick it up ones we received a second confirmation email that it was ready. Upon arrival you call the student store and they bring you your order to your car. The wait time is very short approximately 5 minutes.”
“Our sister Division (IWS) Imagination Workshop Studio purchases supplies here. It's one place out of two handfuls of Art Department and Special Effects suppliers IWS purchases from and although IWS doesn't get to visit in person for picking up Make-Up and Special Effects Supplies often IWS thinks they are the best in the business because it's been a family business for well over 30 years in motion pictures and television. Among the various supplies IWS stocks up on is mask latex, Silicone, Epoxy Resin, Gelatin, Clay, Bandages, Ultracal or Gypsum Stone, Lab Tools, brushes, straps, and more equipment and supplies.”
