“This location is layout just like their La Puente store although I'm not sure if they are owned by the same person or is a franchise. Besides beef, seafood, chicken, and pork, the market offers everything you'll need for grilling outdoors, including charcoal, salsas, tortillas, and spices. They even off wagyu from Japan, Australia and tomahawk ribeye's. I've visited this location twice and have taken home USDA prime marinated carne asada and tried their chorizo sausages made specifically for grilling. The butchers and customer service gals here are friendly and accommodating. As for the quality of meats, I was impressed with the packaging, leanest, and the quality of all their proteins. They also offer yummy salsas that taste homemade. The prices are higher but in exchange you'll receive the top-quality cuts of meats and are superior to the grocery store chains. This along with the La Puente store is now my go-to stores for proteins when I'm going to grill. Definitely give them a try, you can thank me later.”

“Everything I have had from TMC has been the best…I have been a regular here since the day they opened.
My go to is always the prime filet (which my boys really enjoy as well) but I change it up and go with the grass fed ribeyes, black opal wagyu, prime NY, porterhouse and once had one of the large tomahawk steaks.
My boys and I also love the filet burgers and TMC smokehouse burgers.
The staff is very knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

“Earlier this month, I visited Meat & Vino for the first time and the quality is next level! Their seasoned wings are packed with flavor, their shrimp is fresh, the raw Denver cut steak…so tender and marbled and those Korean-style ribs, seriously addictive with that sweet-savory marinade vibe. Shoutout to Daniel Matheny from BYO Meat for the awesome free cooking experience he runs nearby on Saturdays! I brought my haul over, and Daniel worked his magic grilling and smoking everything to perfection. The wings came out crispy and juicy, the shrimp had that nice char, the Denver steak was melt-in-your-mouth, and the Korean ribs? Insanely delicious with that smoky edge. He really knows how to elevate top-notch meats like these, huge thanks for the delicious job and the fun community vibe! “Top 5 breakfast burrito in la/oc. I wasn't ready given how boring the signage is ?.
It's not fancy or unique but literally the best breakfast burrito package. If you're a breakfast burrito person you NEED to get this.
Service is solid and ambiance is basically what you expect.
Side note: the salsa is the only weak part. It's a generic chunky salsa with no real flavor. I recommend getting your own to take it to flavor town, but this burrito is RIDICULOUS.”
“Excellent place to buy your meat if you're planning to have a party or a gathering. The meat is already marinated. I bought a little bit of everything to last me for the whole week. I found out about this place through family every time my daughter used to come over she would bring this amazing meat and we will have a barbecue I will ask her, Where this place is at. I visited a family member and I was around that area so I stopped and I'm so glad I did. Best meat.”
“I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and every single time I walk in there every single employee is so nice. The first couple of times I thought they were just having a really good day (since sadly you don’t see that level of customer service elsewhere) … every single time I step a foot in there, I feel so welcomed. Almost like a family feeling like they’ve known you for years. I was born and raised in Mexico and it gives you that feeling of being back home going to: “La tiendita de la esquina” it’s almost nostalgic. You can tell is a family runner business and they CARE a lot for their customers. Couldn’t recommend more ????”
“One stop shop for everything Louisiana based products and chicken sausage is definitely something you cannot just get anywhere and other meats DD sausage but you definitely have to try I drive from Lancaster California to come here and it’s worth the drive you won’t be disappointed”

“This local butcher shop is small but mighty! Besides enjoying their beef/chicken asadas, I've really been blown away by their beef cuts. Fresh produce sometimes available such as avocados which were very good too! After reading reviews I will ask about getting a turkey for November this year. Price is fair for the high quality/service. Can't wait to grill up more stuff!!”

They usually if not always have great avocados, for the huacamole, also their abandera red salsa is great. Not super hot just hot and great favor.”

“Good hot food, burritos are my go to. Only difference is the burritos came with more ingredients like avocado, sour cream etc.. it also came with chips on the side.. now it's just a burrito with meat, cheese, rice, and beans, still good just not the same. Please bring back the side of chips and atleast the avocado in the burritos..”

“So I placed an order for pick up and my friend went to pick it up for me since I was sick. The order was sent over and done in a matter of minutes and he goes over to pick it up. Well he’s sitting there for longer than normal so I call and speak to Joel to find out what’s going on and he immediately gets working on it. I give him the order number and less than 10 minutes my friend is pulling up in my driveway order in trunk. Lol lol. I had accidentally put the order under his name since he was picking it up but Staters was on it and had him loaded up and back on the return trip home in a matter of seconds. I enjoy shopping at the Stater Bros. on Whittier Blvd in West Whittier. Ever since they moved into the new location, the experience has been fantastic. The store is consistently spotless, bright, and incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find everything I need.
The real highlight, however, is their legendary meat department. The certified meat cutters are true professionals—always willing to offer a custom cut or seasoning advice—and the quality of their ribeyes and marinated meats is simply unmatched by other local chains. The produce section is equally impressive, always stocked with fresh, crisp fruits and vegetables.
Beyond the products, it’s the people that make this store special. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, giving the place a warm, community feel that you just don’t get at big-box stores. Whether I'm grabbing a quick dinner of their delicious Cleo & Leo fried chicken or doing a full week's grocery run, this Stater Bros. never disappoints. Highly recommended!”
“This place is a place I've been coming to as a kid. So many memories and it's crazy some of the workers are still there after all these years. All the workers are nice and sometimes the cashiers will do small talk with you. It may be a small place but you can find good food there. You got to have the carnitas, so bomb. You'll find the price higher than a grocery store but I'm going to support this local business.”

“The produce is great. So is their customer service. I have a allergy to Turkey and every time we go to the deli they have had no problem cleaning off the slicer to make sure there will be no issues. In fact one time one of the ladies recognized me and remembered. Before I got to order she double checking if I was the person who had the allergy. It felt great to know that they are taking note of that kind of issues. Today when I went it one of the cashiers not just remembered me but remembered my name.
Update: This place is fantastic.”
