Very poor experience. They scratched our brand new floors and multiple areas require repainting. They also price gouge you. When we sent photos and escalated to our case manager, Oscar, they simply do not. Stay away from this company and Rapid Movers.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I scheduled a long-distance move approximately 200 miles.
When I first spoke to Eric, the only questions he asked were whether I had a washer/dryer, a refrigerator, and how many bedrooms I had. He quoted me based on 1,700 lbs — which afterwards the bait and switch another male stated the average weight for a 2 bdrm is around 4500 Ibs. WHY WOULD YOU NOT QUOTE BASED ON THE AVERAGE OVERRALL WEIGHT OF A 2 bdrm.
My initial quote was about $2,000. Once my items arrived, the bill jumped to $7,200 because they suddenly claimed my items weighed around 4,700 lbs. At that point, they threatened to essentially hold my belongings hostage — either pay the inflated cost or risk losing my things. I asked for a flat rate, and the “discounted” number they threw at me was still $4,000. ( now, at this point, I know that they’re doing this to others; how could you go from 7k to 4K in seconds) If I had known that from the beginning, I would’ve rented a truck, hired loaders/unloaders through a reliable service, and saved thousands.
On top of that, I was promised three movers for both pickup and delivery. Only two movers showed up for the unload, dragging the process out until almost 11 PM. And after all of this, they had the nerve to ask for a tip.
This company lies, manipulates, and preys on customers in stressful moving situations. I later discovered they’ve changed their name multiple times — a huge red flag. Please do yourself a favor: look them up on the Secretary of State site, reverse-search their phone number, and read the real reviews. I wish I had before booking. My mom was last minute.
Do not use them. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration.

The guys were pleasant, humorous, kind and respectful gentlemen. They worked very fast and efficient when moving our things. I would recommend Cali Movers to everyone. The price was very reasonable. I couldn't have asked for better.

Couldn't have asked for a better moving experience from SoCal to the Bay Area. Oscar was super helpful & communicative about scheduling, the stated quote was exactly what I was charged, and all of my belongings including some extremely heavy/bulky items made it to the destination without any damage and on-time. Would absolutely hire Cali Movers again for my next move.

Eric and Jr and the team make moving easy! They were careful with my items and went above and beyond to getting my oversized couch in the door.
Jr gave excellent ideas for the logistics of the move. Even great tips on where items should go. I like their humility and efficiency, made you feel like they were partnering on the journey with you. I could not have done it without them. It's not their first rodeo very very seasoned movers!!!

This company is fraud. We hired them for a long distance move and they told us it’s gonna take 3-5 business days. We called them on the 4th day regarding the status of our move, and no one was answering. We tried to call using other phones, and they simply hanged up our call after we told them our situation, making us thinking this is Fraud. We are going to call the police very soon to report them. Meanwhile we suggest not to use their services.

Jr and his team did an amazing job getting my 4 bedroom house plus garage loaded up and unloaded in less than 6 hours. Moving can be very hectic and stressful but Jr and his guys made it very smooth and got the job done quickly and even arrived about an hour earlier than scheduled.
I would recommend their services anytime!

*****Please beware before hiring this company. I saw a few reviews and photos of damaged items online and when I called I asked them about it. Erik said that on occassion it happens but they are bonded and insured and I would be 100% covered if anything happened. I felt good about our call and appreciated his honesty so I hired them. The movers were great but they dropped my 80 inch televison and broke it. I reached out and spoke with Nickie, she sent me some paperwork to fill out a claim. I then recevied a check in the mail for $32 for a $2500 television. I called and asked her about this and she said I didn't select the upgraded insurace. I told her that was never offered to me. I then emailed Richard and told them I would be reaching out to an attorney, he said they would submit the claim for the full amount. A few weeks later I got a call from the insurance adjuster who told me they were going to deny the claim due to the fact that the truck and the driver were not insured. I have tried for several month to settle with Cali Movers and they and not willing to give me anything more then the $32. I have since read other reveiws where this has happened to several other people. Its unfortuantae as this company has such potential but I have never had such horrible customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I would never use this moving company again. They packed a plant in a box which died and no one seemed to know what happened to the plant when I asked the day we were moving. They packed food in a box that was full of mold when opened as it was in storage for 2 months. My jewelry armoire was damaged as well as there were broken wine glasses. Many of the boxes were not labeled except “fragile” so it took an inordinate amount of time to unpack. They gave me a check for $66. Worse moving company EVER!!!!!!

We started at 10:00 a.m. and stopped at 1:00 p.m. but they charged me for 4 hours anyway. Beware. The movers were great but the company could kiss my butt

We hired Cali Movers to help with a 2-hour distance move, with 2 destinations. I highly, highly recommend Cali Movers. They were punctual and professional. Carlos and Nelson were absolute hustlers and their price was the best.

I give this company only a one star because we liked Eric. Lazy guys that literally complained about everything. I have moved 15 plus times and first time ever watched men complain. It was so bad I moved the entire time just so they would stop complaining.

Thanks to cali movers inc, I had a great and affordable moving experience. The movers showed up on time, loaded all my items including heavy furniture, they even made it to the destination 2 hours before me ?. They unloaded everything into the proper rooms, put together a few items that I needed help with, and were on their way. Thank you cali movers inc!!!

I had a great experience with the team at Cali Movers. From the initial request for a quote to the final box placed in my new home. The guys were fast, clean, experienced and fun to work with. I hope I don’t move again for a long time but I’ll definitely be referring my friends and family. However, I will advise them to overestimate what they have to move in the initial conversation. They’ll need to vastly overestimate the time it’ll take as well. In the end, our old house had a lot of things left behind because we ran out of space on the truck. I didn’t have money left to hire them again to finish.
