Century Books is a lovely little gem of a bookstore, described as magical and like a treasure hunt inside. The warm and welcoming shop owners are incredibly kind, hospitable, and helpful. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and wonderful to talk to. The store has a great range of collections with lots of materials, especially for European history and the ancient Near East. Visitors can explore piles of books and many stacks, along with vintage and antique pictures and magazines that feel like a time machine. It is an absolute must-visit for book lovers, offering a great ambiance where one can easily spend hours.
So much to see here! Judith, one of the co-owners, is a really lovely lady and is incredibly hospitable and helpful. Lots of great materials esp for Euro history and materials about ancient Near East.
