Every time I'm in the mood for some good Filippino food, I always stop by Chaaste for a quick takeout. Christian and his family are always welcoming and very pleasant to talk to. And they're very helpful. They have fresh hot food for purchase by the container/box sizes. I always get a little bit of this and that. Today, I got the 2 chicken skewers, lumpia shanghai, beef kaldereta, pancit bihon, and their famous mama san turons. If the weather was warmer, for sure halo-halo would be on the list, too (i always get that during the summer!!). And I also picked up a can of coconut water from the market side. Everything is delicious!! Come and try it for yourselves, and support the local small family business.

I love this place. Always chat it up a bit with Christian behind the hot food. Love the family vibe and playing positive music in the background. Daughter loves the Turon. Tried other places and she always says they are not as good as Chaaste.

Please support this fantastic Filipino family market! I ordered catering through Chaaste for an elementary school teacher and staff luncheon and BIG SUCCESS! Gabriel was so helpful in choosing the foods that would feed 65 people and that would fit our budget. All the goods - chicken adobo, pancit bihon, lumpia shanghai, gata calabasa, mixed veg chop suey, white rice, turon! When I picked up the food, it was like I stepped into a relative's home. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I met all the brothers - Christian, Gabriel, and Abraham reminded me of my cousins! That's a good thing =) I didn't know that they carried all of the filipino snacks I ate as a child, and they even had My Shaldan at the front next to the Sky Flakes! The market area was clean and stocked UP. I didn't have a moment to browse, but I will when I bring my family. To the left is the hot food area, and geez, it smelled great. Christian and Ariel helped load the food in my car and my daughter was tortured by the delicious smell, knowing that the food wasn't for her lol. I told her we now have to come back! All of the teachers and staff were in AWE of the food and their bellies were satisfied. Not many of them have tried filipino food, and I was so happy to have found Chaaste to break them in. Apparently all of the teachers/staff said that their favorite part of their day was "THE FILIPINO FOOD" =) And it was ALL. GONE. Thank you so much, Chaaste! I will be back with my family AND everyone else I know.

Needed a dish for a family potluck, so I looked for places I have bookmarked on the way to my sister's house. So happy Chaaste was on my list. I really only tried a few dishes, 50 lumpia, some lechon and Turon which they gave us to try. Lumpia was some of the best I've ever tried. Lechon was really good too, just wish it was warmer, but I get it. Will lose the crispiness if reheated so late in the day. Will try again soon. Service was off the charts! Friendly when I called in the order and super friendly when I went to pick up. Had a great chat with owner before they sent me off with my order and free turn sample! Forgot to take pictures of good, because everyone just ate it up so quickly. Will post more pics next time.

I came here for my lumpia. The gentleman behind the counter was super engaging and nice. I got the 50 lumpia catering plate. All my coworkers loved it. I didn't really get a chance to explore the market but I will definitely come back to do so. Mom and pop's vibes.

Ordered 100 pieces lumpia Shanghai for an office party. I was quite impressed with the taste and flavor and it wasn't greasy. More importantly the customer service was great since I was able to pickup the food at 10:30am, two hours before they opened. I didn't go inside but from the looks of things, the ambiance looked clean!

I found Chaaste as I was craving Turon (Filipino banana egg-roll dessert/ snack). I was surprised that other than the original, they also had other flavors like langka (jackfruit), ube (purple yam), and churros. So I stuck with a box each of the original, langka and ube turon. There are 5 pieces of turon in a box. While waiting for my order (they make it fresh as you order, yes you can order ahead as well), I wanted to check their hot food offerings. What we got:Lumpia (egg rolls) - 4.5 starsDinuguan (pork stew) - 4.5 starsBistek Pilipino - 4 stars, slightly salty Chicken curry - 3.5 stars goodLaing (Taro leaves in coconut milk) - 3 stars- salty Mixed veggies - 2.5 stars bland and overcooked Pancit bihon (rice noodles) - 1 star - very bland and dry. So here’s the breakdown:Langka flavor turon ($9.50 for 5 pcs) - 3.5 stars, crunchy, sweet, with lusciously ripe jackfruit but the banana is too firm (read- hard)Ube flavor turon ($9.75 for 5 pcs) - 2.5 stars, the ube was just strategically placed on one end of the turon, banana again is too firm.Original turon ($5.50 for 5 pcs) - 2.5 stars, crunchy and sweet wrap, banana is too firm.PutoFlan (steamed rice cake with flan $6) - 3 stars, flan is good, puto (rice cake) is dry and hard. They also had grocery stuff like Filipino chips and snacks. Service was friendly, parking adequate. I’d definitely come back for the egg-rolls and dinuguan, maybe the turon if they use a softer banana.

Good place for Filipino food. They have a good selection and food taste fresh. The small market has a good selection of the essentials for snacks and dishes.

This place got the best turon I have ever had. All my closest friends are Filipino and I have had turon all my life. I have had some very forgettable turon. How can you mess up turon? Believe it or not, some places do. The turon here is the best mix of crunchy and sweet. Whenever I go to a Filipino party and they don't have turon I am really disappointed because I love anything fried+bananas. Hands down, this place is the best. If you don't love turon, we can't be friends.

I ordered the lunch plate with chicken adobo, bistec and 1/2 rice 1/2 pancit. I also had their banana egg roll and everything was AMAZING. 10/10. Unfortunately they didn't have lumpia. The employee advised me to call ahead of time so they can prepare it ahead of time. I can't wait to go back and try the lumpia because I know it won't disappoint!

ask about different flavors of turon if it isn’t too busy. the best dish after several visits is clearly the taro leaves in coconut milk.ask about fried bangus too, a bone-in fish with true exceedingly delicious sea flavor. they sell out often, worth repeat visits so you can have one.
