Just absolutely HATE this bank and their online and phone customer service. You are a rat in a maze and you will never speak to anyone...OR if you do, be sure they cannot help you NOR will they speak English! TOTAL NIGHTMARE....RUN for your life and money. Go somewhere else where you might matter.

Seems like every banking establishment is getting taken over or merges eventually with Chase Bank, R.I. P., 1st republic :( Anyway, I digress; this location (called Rose Garden Plaza), is always crowded as it seems to be a hub for Pasadena, Altadena, and surrounding communities, mainly because there is a plethora of shops: Vallarta Supermarket - that's a significant traffic draw, Sally's beauty, Tasty's Donut Shop, Blaze Pizza, Starbucks, and on and on. Beware of the massive parking lot- I've seen at least 10 cars or trucks involved in fender benders through the years- it's like bumper cars sometimes with everyone backing out together so be careful and aware of your surroundings. Police have really cracked down on petty, or sometimes more serious crimes being committed this shopping area, due to law enforcement's diligent enforcement. I love the staff at this bank, always welcoming and engaging and work to promote your own safety, i.e., bank rep asked customer behind me to back up for my personal privacy. I love this extra attention and protection provided. Great bank location to come to!

Kelly is the nicest, most welcoming and knowledgable Bank employee I've ever encountered. She helped me set up multiple accounts and answered every question I could think of. I would go out of my way to work directly with her at this branch. She's incredible.

I always avoided this Chase location since I didn't feel the safest nearby. However, I really needed to make a deposit one day and sucked it up. Hilariously, their tellers weren't working behind the desk and instead assisted with deposits at the ATM. Their presence was gladly welcomed, since I had a few bills. The staff member walked me through the entire process and even made sure that I felt safe depositing each stack of bills (small bills / change add up fast over the years). When all was said and done, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes, despite me having budgeted about 15-30 minutes... :)

This bank sucks. Went to make a deposit and she said I needed id. Didn't have my id on me but I had my debit card and pin which I provided. Told her I had it at home 2 blocks away n I'd be back. Went all the way home to get my id n there was a really long line which she made me wait in again instead of having someone help me.

I made an appointment and was never told that the person I was to see didn't come in that day. The person who did talk to me said she had another appointment and couldn't help me. The appointment wasn't there yet (if ever) but she refused to help and told me I should try another branch. What a wonderful way to do business. I wish I could tell you this chase was worse than the rest but I have had similar problems with several branches. Now, I try calling first before I go to make sure the person I am seeing is there except they don't answer the phones so that isn't working out for me either. Chase Bank used to be much better. You can't blame all of this on the pandemic

Unprofessional and bad service. Went there for a wire transfer and they made me go back for 3 times because of their mistakes, and no apologies. ???

This bank is only good for cashing checks and making deposits though last week I was assisted by a young, shrewish teller with an attitude and devoid of all professional acumen.I handed the teller who I had never seen previously a check to deposit. I stated that I wanted to deposit the entire check. She looked at the check and stared at me without stating a word. I asked if she needed anything else. She replied, "Yes, your (driver) license." This was odd since straight deposits don't usually require proof of identification. The amount of the check was less than $80. After showing her my ID, she processed the deposit and handed me a receipt and returned my license. She never said thank you.I next asked who I had to speak to regarding a change to my accounts. She turned to a young Black woman who stood behind her and informed her of what I needed. The woman told me that their branch's personal banker was at lunch but that I could make an appointment to meet in person with her. I made an appointment to meet the following day. I was handed the bank's business card on which she wrote the name, Rebecca Guzman. The next day I called Ms. Guzman because she never contacted me to verify the appointment. Ms. Guzman informed me she could not meet with me because she was meeting with someone else at that time. Silence. I counted 1-2-3-4 and asked, "So what can we do? May I schedule another time?" She replied, "come at 2" instead of asking what time would be convenient to meet with her.I told her I could meet her the following day instead. She scheduled a meeting at 11 p.m. she never asked why I wanted to meet with her so I voluntarily explained why I wanted to visit the bank. She stated that the change I wanted to transact to my accounts was not possible. I asked if I could speak to her supervisor. She placed me on hold and when she returned, informed me that her supervisor was busy but would return my call. Her supervisor never called. I have now decided to move the majority of our family's funds to another bank.SOME of the staff at this location lack professional acumen. The teller I dealt with was an utter unprofessional and Rebecca is in dire need of more training. And her supervisor is evidently glib about the principles governing sound customer service business practices.

They must only hire mutes at this location because the tellers never speak or respond to anything you say and instead just look at you. I was in line and instead of saying "next" she just stared at me and didn't utter a word during the whole transaction. I only asked for quarters so I guess she didn't need to say anything, but like... yikes.

Couldn't do a simple job, cashiers check, simple one job. They need way too much s*** that you won't have. Don't bother.
