I dropped in to an 8 am class while visiting family. The website said "join for the fitness, stay for the community" which I find to be the best thing about CrossFit. The coach was super knowledgeable and led a good warm up. Everyone was super nice and supportive of each other.

Resistance Crossfit is an amazing space. They have a very knowledgeable staff and organize great community events. It's connected to a pizza shop and coffee shop so you get everything under one roof. More importantly their programming is great and very welcoming for new members. 10/10 Crossfit Gym.

I’ve been a member at Resistance for 5 years now. They are able to help beginners start where they’re at as well as provide guidance and value to the experienced. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I dropped in here while I was in Pasadena for the week. They have an awesome community, attentive coaches, and I can’t wait to stop in again when I am in town next. I would definitely recommend working out here!

I love this place with all my heart and soul periodt. Everyone's so nice and welcoming and progressive and I made so many new friends since joining. A really diverse gym with an equal ratio of men to women also which is an important thing to note for me personally. If you're in the Pasadena area and wanna give this place a shot, they have a free first day trial followed by a $10 for 10 days deal. Now go slay~

I go here to rent the platform only to work with my remote Coach. Maggie was super nice from first intro and very accommodating. I'm there when classes are on and the trainers are all very encouraging.

Resistance Athletics is more than a gym; it is a community of individuals who all support each other. Coaches are amazing and are always looking for any improvement that will help us lift heavier and maintain safe form. Before RA, I couldn't even lift a barbell and forget doing a snatch, now I can do both and feel confident in my abilities. It's not just weightlifting or "CrossFit" movements that you get better at; it is everyday things like picking up a box at work or going for a hike. Members and coaches are always cheering for each other. RA has become my second home, and there isn't another place like it.

Resistance athletics is my FAVORITE place in Pasadena. The people, the workouts, the vibe, there’s nothing I don’t like about resistance. More than anything though, the community keeps me coming back. If you’re interesting in meeting some great people, regardless of your fitness level, come by!!

This is not just a gym where you go to exercise - it's a community of support. CrossFit is new to me and the coaches, ALL of them, have been amazing so far. For that reason, along with the encouraging members, I continue to show up consistently. I would highly recommend anyone to give it a try.

I was single, fat, and had no confidence. I wanted to change that so one day I dropped into resistance athletics and met coach mike and Pao. I was really nervous and intimidated because they were so strong! I wanted to be like them so they got me on an intense program to lose fat and get fit! Their fitness program worked so well that I even got the attention of one of the hottest girls at the gym. Lucky me! Thanks coach mike and Pao making me a better man Xoxo

Been a member since Mar 2021 and have experienced nothing but a warm and welcoming environment. Had minimal Crossfit experience but the coaches here dedicated extra time in getting me up to speed. Now coming in 5-6x per week and enjoying it! The community and members here are motivational! Highly recommend!
