This location is no worse than any other CVS, but it's also no better. CVS, the corporation doesn't care two s___ts for their pharmacy customers, and they force their employees into that same mindset. Nothing is actually done locally. All the orders and renewals are handled via the corporate-controlled automated system, and that system has NO connection to the local stores. Twice now I've gone through the automated process and have been told by a recorded voice that my prescription would be ready on a set date and time, only to arrive at the store to be told that I have no orders ready. When told of the automated message, all they do is say, "Do you have a copy of it?" and then point out how they have no control over the process. One time I even got a message to pick up at a time when the pharmacy was not even open! This past visit the rude person behind the counter printed out some slip of paper that said my prescription was filled in a different store entirely and would be shipped to this one next week, so there. Mind you, NONE of this matched what the automated system told me. CVS to customers: "____ you."Unfortunately, CVS and the other big chains have put the independent pharmacies out of business, so there aren't many options left. Yay, for American health care business.

I wanted to leave a review for the pharmacy, but also to give a shout out to Hike who went out of his way to help me with a somewhat complicated prescription my doctor had sent in. I was extremely sick so to have him help me get clarification from my doctor for the insurance approval in order to get my medication quickly meant the absolute world. I am very grateful for his help. Generally I have had a positive experience with CVS pharmacy and find the staff to be kind and really make an effort to keep things running smoothly. The only time it doesn't is usually the fault of the insurance company or CVS operating systems which the employees cannot be held responsible for.

I have been fortunate to have two fantastic experiences with CVS (Pasadena on Sierra Madre Blvd.) this past week. Thanh Chau was most helpful at checkout and Lauren in the Pharmacy helped solve a mystery. CVS is lucky to have both of these outstanding employees. sally

This is my go to location for many years and I absolutely loved this CVS! Not to mention how efficiently they are connected with all my health care providers, In addition, they always get their jobs done right. On top of that, workers are always so courteous and the store is kept super clean. :) The pharmacists team are amazing here . They work great under pressure & they are able to get your prescriptions ready quickly per your requests . I have so much respects for the pharmacist's dedications! Thank you again! I appreciate how accommodating and professional everyone and everything here at this CVS! 5 stars is definitely well deserved . Thanks to all the pharmacists and cashiers who works so very hard to deliver things on time .
