I had items of about $200 as I often spend this amount or more at cvs.i had 2 coupons for 35% off sent to me through text and email of which I added to my card.i do have 3 accounts from 15 yrs with CVS.2 have the same number 1 has different number. My 35% coupons were sent to 2 of the accounts and 30% off was sent to 1 of the accts.after the cashier rang my items none of these coupons would come up on any of the 3 accts. She seemed annoyed and acted as if should just pay the full price nearly $200.I asked if she could please get help because I came here for this reason of saving 35% off my full purchase.as the line got longer behind me She reluctantly called a manager after she realized I wasn't going to pay full price or leave. The manager couldn't find the coupons on card and tried to enter the manually. None of the three worked! Them why did they send them to me? Why are they clear as day on my phone with code numbers and which card they are attached to.they offered no "sorry maam it out of our hands" or better yet "you can try printing your coupons over there while we hold your items." Or " here's the number for customer service . Call them on Monday " no just staring at me waiting for me to pay the total of which I should have been saving 35% on. Nope no apology or solution.they both stared at me like I was the 1 to blame.i wasted an hour there searching through their poorly stocked disorganize store.seriously don't go here. go to another cvs. You will then see the difference.i left all items and walked out. After all that i now see in the faqs on cvs.com they could have suggested that i print the coupon at the store coupon printer! horrible customer service!unless the management changes I will not be back to this location.

If I can give it zero stars I would because of Chad!!! The pharmacist he sounded drunk over the phone and mom was there indicating he was notPresent neither! Very unprofessional considering were calling from the hospital to aid mom whom took time off work to get her child's meds! Apparently he's the manager and feels some kind of power high he needs to be let go and have someone whom actually cares for their people and community.

The staff and management of CVS Lake Avenue are highly valued by me. They are knowledgeable and very organized, and oriented toward our health.

CVS in Target at 777 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CAI am a senior citizen, I genuinely like the pharmacist who has always shown patience and courtesy. I think he's so busy now he just doesn't get involved. I was actually on my cellphone with my insurance provider when the older female attendant ( the younger woman was kind and respectful) was beyond rude, and out of control as she told me she wasn't going to speak with the insurance representative (after she told me to call). She then said she was too busy to deal with me and had other things to do. And, the pharmacist is giving flu shots and doesn't have time for you either, she noted. My insurance representative who was listening via my cellphone asked me to, ..."please leave the premises and never return as no one had a right to speak with you in such a manner and tone." I have been a customer for years and never had problems until this overbearing personality of an older woman came aboard. Although it will take me a few days without my needed prescription, I won't spend money to be insulted and summarily dismissed.

Called ahead of time to see if they had Covid test kits. I was immediately put on hold before I could say a word, and stayed on hold for the five minute drive it took to get there, and the seven minutes that I stood in line and watched them continue to silence my call whenever it would ring again. I literally watched one woman stand behind the counter doing nothing while a customer ran back to get something they forgot, instead of answering the phone.

There are very few times when I am completely shocked by customer service. Today, I had to stop by the pharmacy to pick up some medical gloves for my mother. I was not in the mood to stand in line and do any type of price comparing. I was a bit excited because I remembered to bring my long list of coupons this time. After ringing me up, the manager, Martha, said that for some reason the coupon for 30% off would not work. She tried again and again it did not work. She apologized. I said that it was fine and to go ahead and charge me. The total came out to $57.00. Pretty expensive for plastic gloves, but I was in no mood to haggle. She then saw that the numbers of the receipt was the same and the one I showed her.She then took it upon herself to take the receipt and punch in numbers manually. Martha then told me the total was $8.05!!! I was in shock. She smiled and said that she was sorry that it took so long. I was/am so thankful. I didn't ask her to do that, but she took the time to help me. I want to thank you Martha for making my week. Its been rough, but your kindness will go along way!!! Thank you!!

Holy hell do I have a story that you need to read before using the CVS pharmacy on Lake in Pasadena... been going to CVS for years, even been on a first name basis with my CVS pharmacists as I know how crazy their jobs can be and I like to be friendly with them. I recently moved to Pasadena so I transferred my CVS pharmacy. In recent years I've used the app to order my meds so I don't have a lot of contact with the pharmacist. However the Lake St CVS has had issues with the app. I had a situation a couple of weeks ago where I had to have my doctor send a script three times. I called the pharmacy and Chad answered the phone. Right off the bat he was rude and condescending, he had some issue filling my prescription so he put me on hold to check it out. Somehow I was disconnected. I called back, mind you I waited about 5 to 10 minutes each time I called which was about five times over the course of two days. By the time he got on the phone I was pretty irritated between having to contact my doctor three times and having to call back. Nonetheless, all I wanted was for this dude to fill my prescription and at one point I even said, "look man, can you please just fill my prescription??" Oh no, because I had somehow been "disrespectful" to him and he "needed" me to "promise" I would treat him better. Now guys, I have NEVER dealt with someone, not just in customer service, but EVER that acted the way this cat acted. The tone of condescension, the monotone sarcasm, telling me I needed to give him the respect he deserved, etc crazy! I hung up and immediately did something I can tell you I've never done, I called CVS cooperate to report this guy. After I gave my complaint, Chad had the audacity to call me and tell me HE didn't appreciate me calling cooperate on him?! Um, excuse me guy?? He went on to say that if I was respectful to him, this wouldn't have happen. I hung up. You'd think that was it and you'd be wrong...Two days ago my doctor called in an important time sensitive antibiotic for a surgery I was having but needed to start on the meds first. Got a text saying they were working on it then a day went by and nothing. I looked on the CVS app and ALL of my prescriptions were "on hold," I couldn't click and have them filled, I had no choice but to call, so I did. I called to get this antibiotic and Chad answered. Mind you I had already moved on from the past issue, cranky CVS pharmacist ranks low on my list of things to hold a grudge on. He asked for my info, I gave it to him and this dude says to me, "you told me you were transferring to a different CVS." I literally said to him, "excuse me? What are you trying to say?" He says, "well do you want it filled here or do you want me to transfer it? You're disrespectful to me so I just thought you'd want it transfer." Ladies and gentlemen I'm a pretty chill girl but I just about lost my junk at this point, but I didn't. I curtly told him my doctor sent it here, fill it please. If I wanted it elsewhere I would have had it sent there." He kept repeating how I wanted to transfer, I was disrespecting him. It was bananas!! Finally I said, "fill my frickin prescription man! I need my medicine!!" He said "oh, now you're swearing at me? I don't need to take this from you, I don't have to fill your prescription if you're swearing at me." I asked him since when was "frickin" a swear word to which he said "always." I told him I was calling corporate and he said it doesn't matter, nothing is going to happen, and how he was gonna call on me because I was swearing at him. Chad has complaints going back at least two years on Google and Yelp. CVS needs to do something about this guy. Having someone with such a vengeful, venomous attitude dispensing, or not dispensing, important medication is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I recently broke my hip. I was prescribed a pain medication. My husband picked up the meds. The next morning I looked at the bottle, and it said the count was 40. There were 20 in the bottle. We called the pharmacy and spoke to Chad. We just wanted to relay the facts, but Chad immediately got defensive, accusing us of dropping them, losing them, repackaging them, etc. That they have a system of dealing with controlled substances. We could not get a word in edge-wise. All we wanted to do was report it. So, getting no answers, we reported the matter to corporate. Not a lot a lot of luck there. My husband had to call the pharmacy on an unrelated matter and was put on hold. Chad picked up the phone and accused my husband of calling corporate. My husband tried to explain the he was calling on a different matter, but once again, could not break in. He finally got frustrated and yelled, "godammit, let me speak". At which point Chad told my husband he was "uncomfortable" with dealing with us and that we should pick another CVS and he would have our Rx's transferred. Which is fine! This person has absolutely no business being in the job he is in. He is unprofessional, rude, and frankly, his behavior was disturbing. CVS Corporate would do well to have a look into who they have out there as the "face" of their company.

All the employees are super kind. And I like the diversity of the merchandise. This makes me happy to go into my local CVS store.
