Soviet CVS is a medium-sized pharmacy located in South Pasadena with a generally organized layout and a wide selection of essentials and disposable items. The store is clean, neat, and feels safe thanks to visible security measures. Staff members are consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive, with some like Tina providing knowledgeable and positive service that enhances the shopping experience. Customers appreciate the friendly cashiers and the convenience of outside drive-through pharmacy pick-up, especially since COVID-19, which allows for quick and easy medication retrieval. The pharmacy staff is efficient and capable, often busy but responsive to questions. The environment is well-organized, with visible signs and a focus on self-checkout options. However, the store can sometimes be understocked, with specific items frequently missing from shelves. The atmosphere can be somewhat depressing, with many bare shelves and a lack of vibrancy. The store also features a section for Claire’s products and a hands-on ear-piercing booth, though the latter lacks privacy and staff presence at times. Overall, while the CVS offers good service and a tidy environment, it occasionally struggles with stock levels and a somewhat dull atmosphere.
This is the "Soviet" CVS. Many bare shelves and generally depressing atmosphere. Update: Pretty much the same on today's visit.

Always efficient. The pharmacy is great. The only drawback is it seems that the particular item I want from the shelf isn't there. Always seems to be a little under stocked.
