It is rare that I get a polite professional representative. Not only do I get a rude representative, the app and website is pretty outdated. I can't even retrieve my lost password because I'm waiting all day for the system to send me a verification code via phone, which I never get. I have to call one of the rude representatives that act like they don't like their job to help with retrieving my password. I just recently got off the phone with a representative to help guide me with looking for the statement section and his tone of voice was horrible so I just told him I'll figure it out myself.....rather than say, he'll help, he just told me OK. I do business with this Credit Union because of my job.

I was trying to get more information about some fruad alerts on my account and it's really frustrating when the person thats supposed to help you has such a condescending attitude when you're just asking questions. Ray needs to work on his customer service skills or lack of.

I'm trying to sell my car to carmax and the representative tried to contact E-Central to go through the process. Apparently, the only person who can make the process is on ONE HOUR break and mind you, the representative called at 2:45pm. Is this a joke? Who takes an hour lunch break at almost 3pm on a 9am-5pm bank office hours? Seems so shady and it looks like they don't want to take care of the process. E-central should step up and better their services. How disappointing.

I started with Sears Pacific CU over 40 years ago with a two person team who called you by name when you walked in the door; through two name changes or evolving institutional changes to the now E-Central CU. Although I miss the annual members meeting (dinner and fun) and name recognition when I enter the Pasedena office (personnel changes) E-Central has been consistent with the variety of services provided and a commitment to a good customer experience. You can say I've grown up with this institution with two car loans, a mortgage, and a personal loan; all of which leads me to rate this institution as #1 in my book. Thanks E-Central.

Had a savings account as a backup with them, however since the interest rates were so low, I changed to a bank with a 4.1% interest rate instead (more money in my pocket). I kept the account open because despite not having convenient locations to make the occasional cash deposit, I thought I could use them for a lower interest rate when applying for a used car loan. Their site advertises 6.24% APR for those with excellent credit (which I have). So when I was told my rate would be 8.5% I asked why and was told it was because of my relationship with them not being my primary bank. So I told the loan officer I was going to close the account, to which she was unphased, and I followed through. The account doesn't suit me and I was being charged fees monthly for being below a monthly balance. I only gave them a second star because when interacting in person, the staff is really friendly and efficient.

Sarah Paniaqua went over and above! She was quick, responsive and followed up without fail! I am so impressed and happy with her service - what an asset to the credit union. Good customer service is hard to find - and she is a gem!!! Thank you sarah for helping me out and getting the loan I needed handled!

Sayra in Consumer Loan helped us with a lease buyout of our VW. She was very helpful and attentive. Everything was explained clearly and the loan closed quickly with the best loan option. Can't thank her enough!

Their customer service is always taking forever to pick up a call. I always have to wait for 20 minutes before they answer my call

Hi Everyone, On 3-28-2023 11am, First time I called and I agree with Olga, I have to call several times after a call back I got hang up on. I called again and again no answer use the call back and no one calls me back. I continually calling for several time and finally someone answers the phone, I ask a question and only gave me two option mail in a letter format and a photo ID. or go to there website to fill up a form for the request to close your account, but never mentioned about just go in person, all the hassle just to close your bank account.

I had a checking and savings account with E-Central, and I joined since my nonprofit job offered it and I was trying to get out of commercial banks. I think things were fine and there were plenty of Co-op ATMs I could use, but now they are fewer and it is inconvenient for me to make a deposit. I kept the accounts open since one day that could change again as we are in the post-pandemic world. I closed my account recently since it didn't make sense to keep it open and let money sit. So to close my account, I called and they said to write them a letter with my account information and address and include my ID. I did that and somehow they managed to send my check with my remaining balance to my old address. I was told on the phone that they sent it to my old address since it matches what I have on my ID card. I made the address change on the website when I moved last year and have been getting mail ever since. Now they want me to write them another letter with my address change so they can reissue a check. I wasted a stamp for the first letter and will have to use another stamp for the second on something that was their fault? It's not my fault that they used an incorrect address when I made a change and had since been getting mail and their junk mail. I have mail forwarding since i moved, so a letter at my old address would have to be because they insisted it be sent there. So I don't know it's just upsetting. I wasn't happy as a member and even worse when I left. I have online banks and unfortunately joined a commercial bank again since I can't hunt down banks in their network.

The ladies at this branch are awesome my cousin was dealing with fraud and their patients and help was spectacular thank you ladies so much for your hard work and dedication to show phenomenal customer service and support.

This is the worst financial institution I've ever been to. This wasn't my intended destination, but it's a shared branch to my credit union. I've never had An issue with my hyphenated name except here. I won't be back and I won't be opening a. Account either. I would give it zero stars if I could.
