Went in today to see they switched to inferior body/skin products. Very disappointed. You pay the $300/month for the convenience factor of being able to get ready at the gym before work/going out. Now if I want to still do that I need to bring my own items? How can anyone justify paying that price for luxury and be given trash instead GA smells like floor cleaner and is absolutely horrible. I emailed Gina and Madison. Waiting for a response so I can cancel my membership

As a long-time Equinox member, I've generally had excellent experiences with their gyms. That said, the Equinox at 300 E Colorado Blvd in Pasadena has not lived up to expectations. While my personal trainer here has been fantastic, providing outstanding service, the facility itself and its management fall short. The gym's equipment often feels outdated, and the overall service level doesn't meet the standard set by other locations. I've also faced significant billing issues, being charged for a canceled service and extra personal training sessions that I did not attend. Attempts to resolve these issues have been frustrating, with the management denying evidence of my claims. It's unfortunate and concerning that a brand as prestigious as Equinox would allow one of its branches to operate below their usual standards. currently engaged in an email battle with the management to prevent fraud and to stop them from taking more of my money

I joined this gym with no intention of working with a personal trainer, and now I’m writing this review to rave about one. Anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, yet challenging fitness instructor should sign up with Michael Gilliam. He introduces new and effective ways to target specific muscle groups and uses his Muay Thai expertise to offer clients an exciting kickboxing component. After each session, I feel sore enough to know I got a terrific workout, but not so sore that I can’t function. Overall, Michael’s personable demeanor and well developed sense of kinesthetics makes him an excellent fitness coach. The cherry on top, this gym is super clean and staffed with the friendliest people. Everyone really just minds their own business and works out. It’s great.

I joined a month ago and by far best gym I’ve belonged to. I really enjoy the personal training and started working with Michael Giliam - he is patient and a very good teacher. I appreciate that he starts where I am and develops goals appropriate for my level and age. He also explains a lot of physiology of muscles which helps me visualize and work on quality of the movement. I’ve also done yoga with Sarah who was fantastic and a complimentary personal pilates session with Katalina, she was fantastic and knowledgeable- each person gives terrific one on one training with a personal approach!Really great experience and a wonderful gym with amazing staff.

I've seen various Equinox locations for years, always enjoying a high standard of service and facilities. However, my experience at the Pasadena branch at 300 E Colorado Blvd has been disheartening. On the positive side, the personal training has been outstanding, thanks to an exceptional trainer who has greatly contributed to my fitness journey. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience doesn't match up. The gym's facilities and management are surprisingly subpar compared to other branches. I've encountered issues with service quality, outdated equipment, and lackluster management. Moreover, I've been billed for months for a service I canceled and charged for extra personal training sessions I never attended. Disputes over these charges have gone unresolved, with the management denying some transactions, effectively taking my money without providing the services. I am currently trying to avoid further fraud through an ongoing email battle with the management. It's disappointing to see such a reputable name like Equinox tarnished by poor management at this location.

It is a beautiful gym with excellent staff and trainers. The gym is clean, and there's typically zero waiting time for machines. My only hope is that the validation be extended to 2 1/2 hours to accommodate locker time and exiting the gym. Keep up the great work Equinox! In Good Health!

Just ok. The elevator in this complex breaks down every month. The parking which is run by the city, is sometimes nuts. Not worth what you pay when you walk by full trash bins most mornings. Staff isn't as cordial as they should be especially the trainers, several of which seem delusional.

Great gym, classes, amenities, and most of all great instructors. I had a profound, wonderful experience in barre with Zsolt B and yoga with Jose A. I’m so grateful to have access to this gym!

Best gym in town if you are looking for convenience, customer service, cleanliness, and members that have respect for others. The price is absolutely worth it. You get what you pay for. If you want a gym membership for $45 then you will get the McDonald’s of gyms.

Equinox: Can y’all please just open a location in the southern 626/SGV area? Maybe where that old LA Fit used to be. By the time I walk across the bridge and drive home, more than half an hour has passed. The ticketed parking is also a hassle. (Yeah I know it’s probably not going to happen, but one can hope.)

It's hard not to appreciate a complimentary vinyasa yoga flow courtesy of my friend's guest pass. This Sunday morning session really brought the heat. My favorite part though was learning new ways to stretch and strengthen my hip flexors. I felt so relaxed by the end of the session. I've never had an instructor that went into so much detail about anatomy or the technicalities of the poses. The Pasadena location isn't the most impressive, but has a decent amount of amenities. It was really convenient to have 2 hours of validated parking and to be able to walk over to the gym via the overpass bridge from the parking garage! If there were an Equinox closer to me, I'd certainly consider a membership! It's nice to have a variety of classes to choose from!

Bumping my rating up to 4 stars bc the causes for the 3-star tantrum I indulged myself in appear to have been solved! I believe there has been a positive change in the women's locker cleaning protocol. I haven't recently experienced any of the complaints I had previously (roped off showers, early sauna closing, rows of open locker doors) near closing time, although I have been in near closing time less often. I got a few complimentary trainings / Equifit assessments sent my way after losing my trainer, and it looks as if that's a pretty typical and accepted resolution at Equinox - my boyfriend has also gotten some free PT sessions as a result of his own trainers changing their place of employment. I've been pretty happy with the gym lately, and would love to give 5 stars, but... I'm hoarding my complete approval for the day they open a red light therapy room ;)

I have been coming here for a year and taking training sessions with Kathy Cruz. I could not be happier with the instruction and the facilities. The last year has been transformational for me health-wise, and this facility and its staff bear a great deal of the responsibility for that.

Equinox Pasadena is one of my favorite equinox locations. There are other locations that are bigger and nicer but Equinox Pasadena is such a vibe. It's by far one of the cleanest locations, it's never too busy and you can find a machine to workout effortlessly, the staff is friendly, and the classes are great. It's definitely one of the best gym's I've been to. Equinox offers a unique vibe. The eucalyptus scented towels and the steam room keep me looking forward to my next workout.10/10 recommend .
