Wowwww, where to begin! SoCal is home, but currently live in MD (spouse is in the military). My job is still in LA and they have me come back for in person stuff occasionally, so where I stay at is super important as I want to enjoy the time I have when I come back. My job booked this hotel for me for a couple days and I LOVED every minute I was here. Parking is super easy via a garage that's connected to the hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated and has a nice calming vibe to it. There's even a tranquil feeling courtyard that's perfect for getting some fresh air.
The king room my worked had booked was nothing short of amazing. First off, the bathroom is HUGE by itself. Seriously the size of your standard hotel room! It has a separate bath and shower and plenty of lighting. The room included tons of really cool mood lighting and a couple different sitting areas. The bed was beyond comfy. I didn't once feel cramped and all of the extra open space was definitely appreciated. Id have to say do that, this has probably been one of my absolute favorite hotels I've stayed at. I will 100% be staying here again and very much look forward to it.

Really nice hotel in convenient downtown Pasadena location. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were high end superbly laundered. Our room had a large bathroom with a modern soaking tub.

Had an awesome stay here! The hotel’s been remodeled and looks amazing. Best part? There’s this cool little spot in the lobby called BBAD that serves up killer breakfast burritos, lattes, and more. Honestly, their burritos might be some of the best in LA. The whole vibe, from the rooms to the food, made the stay a total win.
Noteworthy details: The lobby and Breakfast burrito joint!

Nice hotel, I would stay here again, the best part about it is the location, and the amazing restaurant just off the lobby! One of the best breakfast burritos in LA, and great coffee too!

3.5 Stars
Positives: Rooms are spacious and clean. King size bed was nice (pillow top). Breakfast burrito spot downstairs. Nice decor. Central location.
Drawbacks: paid $26 for 3 bottles of water. Only 3 bathroom large towels were given. And no coffee in the room. Rooms are not proof rooms. Only basic cable (6-7 channels, rather useless).
Overall nice stay. The hotel did seem to be a little frugal regarding basic room amenities. Walls are a little thin. You can hear everything in the hallways.

The place is well located for Pasadena, not far from a metro station to go to downtown LA. The area has a lot of homeless people, which are pretty aggressive (verbally) but that seems to be the reality of that whole urban area.
I’ve stayed there a week, which was fine: the room is nice (but you have to let them know they need to clean your room from time to time), comfortable and calm.
The people working for the hotel were not very nice, but at this point I have the impression that people in LA live in awful conditions because most of the people seemed very rude to me (no wonder why homeless people are aggressive…), but who knows…

Never have I stayed at a hotel with such great value. You get everything you expect from a hotel and more.
Setting: The location could be more exciting like DTLA, but it's because of this low-key setting that you get such great service and amenities at a steal.
Room: The D Suite was nice. We were assigned a corner room on the 6th floor and thoroughly enjoyed every inch of it.
We opted for the D Suite because the next tier didn't have a deep-soaking bathtub and was actually a little smaller so I'm not sure why anyone would opt for it other than wanting to be on the 7th floor?
It's the same price so the cost was not a factor in our decision.
Anyhow, the design modern, high-tech, and engaging while still maintaining a "boutique" feel, which is something the Marriott or Omni cannot do.
To top it off, the entire staff was great.
Noteworthy details: Great value. Can't go wrong.

Laughably understaffed. Took 20 minutes to get a drink at the pool. One bartender downstairs who constantly needs to go to the stockroom to see if they have supplies. Extraordinarily rude front desk staff. Avoid.

Very mixed experience. The rooms are enormous. The style is cute, and the lobby and pool are quite nice. But, many things didn't work (A/C, phone to lobby, etc) and oddly, my socks were always dirty from the carpet. The walk to Lake Ave is super close, but the other direction isn't a great area. Helpful front desk.

Great Hotel very clean and perfect for Pasadena! Rooms are great. Food service is very very very slow I would eat next door at Bistro 45 amazing service and quick or a walk into downtown Pasadena was 15mins. Parking is great but expensive
Rooms: Perfect!

The lobby is really well designed and furnished. Unique decor and clean and updated. I spent the day at the pool and after reading another review about the questionable cleanliness of the water and furniture cushions- I have to agree. The water was murky and had floating debris and dirt. Not sure when it's cleaned on a daily basis? Highly suggest someone inspect the area thoroughly from the pillows to the food service.

Good location with shops nearby and motorway access.
Clean and decent rooms but no coffee machine, no decent breakfast offered and cleaning on request only....satisfied overall.....I will change my opinion because for our last night there were people in a room next door were partying until midnight and no reaction from the hotel...

Difficult to find but once we did we were happy. Nothing to write home about but when you’re out in the city most of the day you just need a room to sleep. For that it was comfortable.

Rooms were ok, there were some cockroaches and the sofa was dirty. We did lack some convenience in the rooms, such as a coffee machine or water boiler. Fridge was present.
Staff was very friendly although it seemed like there was insufficient staff for housekeeping. Location is great, can access most major areas easily, and close to the highway.
