I have never had a bad experience buying a new bike. I was always excited and happy and on cloud nine until Incycle. I typically gravel and mountain bike, but I made some roadies friends recently and started some road riding. I couldn't keep up with them. Speed is not a gravel or mountain bike thing. I am also in my late 60s and decided to get a road eBike. I came across the Scott Addict 20 eRide and liked what I read about them. They were in stock at Incycle, but the full specs were not on their website. So, I contacted Incycle and was told that the bike I was considering was a 2022 with the Mahle X20 motor. Scott used the X35 motor before upgrading to the X20, which is lighter and is claimed to be more efficient and have a better feel. I ordered one and had it delivered to the Pasadena store for pickup. When the bike came, it had the X35 motor. I should have refused it because that was not the bike I ordered. Still, I rationalized that the X35 motor has been around longer, proven reliable, and used by many other manufacturers, such as Orbea and Ribble. I accepted the bike and asked for the tires to be set up tubeless. But after the installation, I was asked to pay for the sealant. I have bought many bikes from other stores before - JensonUSA, 2Wheelers, and a few others and never charged for the sealant. I felt it was rather cheap of them, but they did give me the bottle with the balance of unused sealant. I took the bike home and charged it, but the bike's e-system gave an error message after the charge. I suspected that I may have the wrong charger, the one for X20 motor instead of X35. I called the store about it and also enquired about the bike's model year. The store manager asked for the serial number to determine the bike's model year. I emailed the number to the store but never heard back to this date. The next day, I drove the 33 miles (one way) back to the store, and after four hours of waiting, I was told that they had loaded the wrong firmware update earlier. This correct firmware was loaded. Good right? Happy ending? Should be, but: (1) from my research and response from Scott, I discovered that the bike is a 2021 and not a 2022, a misrepresented by Incycle. (b) on my first ride, there was a crackling noise from the front wheel. I initially thought there was some debris in the wheel, which got in when the tire was installed. I took off the tire and cleaned everything, but the noise remained. There is debris within the rim. So, I took the wheel to Incycle's San Dimes store, which was closer. They agreed with my suspicion and said they would take care of it for free since the bike is under warranty (I had the bike for just over a week and rode it only once for about 35 miles.) I went and picked up the wheel today. I was correct that there was debris in the rim, and the problem was fixed. But when I was about to leave ... Surprise! I was asked to pay $32 because the wheel had been upgraded to tubeless (note that I bought the bike and the upgraded tires from them, which they had installed). I did not want to make a scene and argue with them. I paid the $32. I was unhappy, but let's look at the bright side. I now have a "working" bike. Wrong! I got home and was about to install the wheel, but crap! The tire was incorrectly installed ... wrong rotational direction. Am I happy with my Incycle experience? You tell me. Don't get me wrong, the people working there are very polite and attentive, but the ultimate delivery of their products and services is questionable. They either do not know their products or lie about them. I have not walked out of the store with what I went in for. I will never buy another bike from them. And I am in the market for a couple of Specialized Turbo Como, which they carry and have in inventory. Got to start looking around ...

I bought a 2017 Specialized Stumpjumper Elite carbon 29er and just wanted to give perspective buyers a heads up. It states that no small parts are included, but mine did come with a derailleur hander and seat post clamp. It does have the bezel in place for the SWAT box, but you must purchase the door and the inside bulkhead to complete. You must also purchase the 12x148mm thru axle. Overall, I'm happy with the frame and have just completed the build.

This is a quality place. The store is well lighted, orderly, and inviting. The shopping experience there is comfortable. The merchandise is wonderfully presented. I wanted to highlight one aspect of my last visit. Kyle was the person who assisted me at ther service counter desk. I was looking for a no longer produced suspension fluid. Kyle was nice enough to explain to me how his store works with other stores in "their" network. He located the fluid for me and offered me options on how to procure it. Thank you Kyle.

Bought my "specialized" bicycle here. My bike was hybrid "commuter" bike called Sirrus 2.0. It cost me $~700 (including taxes) and that was cheap for a new "specialized" bike. I remember other road/gravel bikes easily went for over $1k! Most of the helpers were very kind and knowledgeable about the bike and what other equipments/accessories need to go with. They even let me try riding their $2.8k bike just to try it out. I love their atmosphere-- friendly and very clean. Once I get used to my new bike and build some bike muscles, I might consider going back to purchase more advanced bike! I love my new bike. Thanks Incycle!

Horrible experience with this company. Bought my first new enduro bike online. Bike came completely messed up and repackaged. The bike wasn’t packaged like it should be from factory. That resulted in multiple damages to the bike and components. Other than that parts and tools to put bike together were missing and there was no protection on the bike as a result of non factory packaging. I contacted them and they blamed it on FedEx mishandling when it’s obviously 100% their fault that the bike suffered damages if it wasn’t damaged before it shipped to me because that’s also a possibility. They offered me not even 5% of the bike value to cover the “FedEx mishandling”. 1. That won’t even cover the first payment and my bike is already looking like well used. 2. I need to take it to the service to get it looked over because components look like they’re about to fall apart which is another cost for me. Wouldn’t recommend buying bikes online from them.

This shop really went above and beyond with their customer service! I purchased my first ebike here, a Jack Rabbit. They assembled it, double-checked everything was in order, and even helped me attach my accessories before getting back on the train with my new commuter bike. If you come here, you are in good hands!

Super friendly and helpful staff. They answered all my questions and installed all sorts of accessories on my new bike for me, plus they have a free 90 day tuneup if you buy a bike through them. They also have some good deals on new rides (mine was 20% off).

Came in for a simple tire replacement on a basic bike. Tire change took over an hour and had to come back later. The repair was unsuccessful and worse than how I brought it in. When pressing their email for help, all I got was automated messages. This shop does subpar repair work on bikes and is not customer focused. Please shop elsewhere for your biking needs.
