We got a like new baby swing for $40 and will be back to buy clothes.
The negative reviews are nearly all from sellers rather than buyers and a bit outrageous. If you aren’t happy with what they are offering for your items, you don’t have to sell. They need to have a profit margin to pay for their employees and retail space!

As a parent I was expecting it, too bad for my kids they carefully chose their most beautiful and well cared clothes even some new items that they outgrown, hoping to get a nice store credit rather then cash offer but reality is that kid to kid employees wisely chose just what they thought it was worth a penny and out of 43 items in good shape they offered a $5.00 cash or store credit of $6.00 just for 3 items and the rest go back to the trunk. These guys are worst than the GRINCH.
Plus driving for 55 minutes straight not worth it better yet donate to good will or Red Cross and get some tax credit. Just give them some credit to walmart or target and they will be happy, simple.

As a Black woman I feel uncomfortable shopping here. My last couple of experiences here I’ve found the employees unhelpful and they watch me like a hawk. If they don’t want Black mothers shopping here perhaps they should put a sign on the door because it’s evident once you go in with their extremely awkward mannerisms and surveilling behaviors. Additionally, I've found them to be selling diapers that are commonly given out for FREE at food banks and etc. (I found this out when I googled the brand looking for the size chart). I can’t say that I’ll be going back.

At first, I thought this place was a necessity for parents. They have a good option of everything you would need for your baby. Although recently, I went in and bought a walker for my daughter. The manager and I took a look at it before purchasing to check for any issues. She and I agreed that the walker looked good for my baby to use. I took it home and a week later, put it together for my daughter to use. Unfortunately, the walker was broken and did not function properly. The handle piece fell off the bottom part with the wheels whenever there was pressure applied. That’s something I didn’t check for at the store.
I took it back to the store (less than 2 weeks later) for an exchange or store credit and the owner refused to give me either. Apparently anything purchased from that store is non refundable or exchangeable if it’s not clothing, even if it’s broken. Their return policy is heinous and that’s why I won’t be shopping there again.

Went here for the first time today.
5 stars for offering at store. I bought a Stokke newborn for $60 (retails for $150)and an Ubbi diaper pail for $25 (retails for $80) - both these items were barely used. Also great used and new selection of things. Could be better organized at the back but overall pretty good.
4 stars for their buying program. They don’t go through the items with you and tell you what they’re pricing them at which I find strange for this type of store model. They also really didn’t have a lot of feedback on what they didn’t keep nor did they show me what they did. Some items were brand new so was surprised to see they didn’t keep them. Like an unopened nursing pillow, burp cloths and such. For 5 items they gave me $11 store credit which felt low.
So overall good for shopping not great for trying to get money for product you aren’t using.

Horrible experience. Don't waste your time. Such poor customer service and unfriendly staff.
Note*** After leaving this review, Kid to kid in Pasadena had the nerve to respond rudely to it. So, here is the full review of my experience with them...
August 20, 2024
In their response, Kid To Kid Pasadena lied about speaking to me after they reviewed the items I brought in to sell. We never discussed anything. They simply offered me $12.00 for 8 items they were willing to take, and I said "Ok". They lied that the items I brought to sell were stained. That seems to be a common response they give on here to people who post negative reviews. I double-checked that all items I brought in were free of stains, and I was sure to wash and fold them before bringing them in. They lied about being helpful and kind. The truth is, they ignored me when I went in. They were also rude on the phone when I called before coming in to find out the guidelines for selling items. They acted like they couldn't be bothered to answer questions. They did not let me know that there was a limit to how much you can bring in to sell. (Which is only enough to fill 2 of their bins.) They saw me lugging in bin after bin from my car with my children next to me and after I finished bringing it all in, the elderly female employee came over and told me there was a limit to how much you can bring in to sell. She acted like I was rude for bringing in so much stuff. Which they would have learned, if they had been easier to talk to, that most of the bins had big licensed plush toys in them like Disney, Peppa Pig, Daniel Tiger, Squishmallows etc. The woman proceeded to tell me, "It would be unfair to review ALL OF MY ITEMS and keep other sellers waiting." Mind you, there was only one lady next to me with a small bin of items to sell, and the store was not packed with people. They had four employees standing behind the cash wrap, and it was not busy at all.
I have worked in retail for many, many years, and I have been a clothing buyer and designer. I have been a manager and a coordinator for big companies. I know how to talk to people and how to treat people with respect. This location in Pasadena was horrible on many levels. I am not lying about anything in my review, and I do not appreciate the way I was treated multiple times by this store. I will never return here and would discourage others from making the same mistake I did. Do not waste your time at the Pasadena store. If you look at other reviews for this Pasadena location, you will see multiple negative reviews, stating the exact same things I am saying. That is no coincidence. Please save yourself the grief and irritation of poor customer service and rude staff members.

Honestly just donate your items to charity. Given how much they pay for and then how much they charge for reselling things you’ll do better just giving away your items to someone in need.

They say they do not accept broken, stained or very worn products; However, in this store they sell too many dirty and smelly products.

Have shopped here without much problems including sometimes buying items being told they’re “as is” including stains and/or not having all the parts and/or straps. Until I had some items I recently wanted to sell. I called the day before repeatedly to find out information on selling items, what’s acceptable etc. but no one answered; there wasn’t even a way to leave a message for someone to call back - I get it if people are busy. But that would’ve been helpful and avoided my experience and this post. So I looked to their web site for guidance.
I spent the night before loading my car w walker, bassinet , swings, changing pad, feeding chair, etc bulky stuff. And at the store, after numerous trips back and forth to my car w/ my baby in the stroller, they offer $15 store credit (or $13 cash) saying they “just changed their policy” and are more strict due to all the “stains” on my items. I cleaned everything prior and wiped down w wipes. They even refused a booster chair due to stains but it was in the EXACT same condition I bought it! It didn’t even have all the straps! But I get it, we understand items are used and you only use them for short time because kids grow so fast. Then I asked about a wrap baby carrier that I brought in the box and I was told no room in the store. It was like 5 inches…So was it stains or no space? Then to add insult to injury i asked about the changing pad. I was told there was “yellowing” I asked where and she looked all over and couldn’t find any. I said that’s odd since I used it covered all the time. She expressed shock asking incredulously I covered it? I’m like yes everyone covers a changing pad before use! As if insinuating I’m a dirty mother! It was clear they were going to do what they were going to do. I didn’t even know most of my items weren’t “accepted” I had to ask. It was such an unexpected and disappointing experience especially to have to have these conversations publicly in the store. I recognize and support small businesses and understand they have a right to change policies. But these policies felt inconsistent and shady. There’s no problem taking my money for items with stains and dirt and missing pieces but the one time I’m selling “oh there’s a change in policy.” It just left a pall over my entire weekend. And if I want to even use the store credit I’m now on guard for a “change in policy” maybe they’ll say “only on weekends or every other third Tuesday of the month.” Overall, if you’re not planning on accepting items just say so on your web site. Literally I could’ve used Buy Nothing or some such and had a better experience, had people come to me, not wasted my gas but more importantly not wasted MY TIME.
