This place is very pricey for the quality of service. The lady that did my nails filed them paper thin that they are now so brittle. Additionally, if you’re on a tight schedule, this is not the place for you. They do take longer than other salon.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and every time it gets worse. Today my mani pedi was almost as expensive as a gel. It was damaged before I left. I didn't even want it fixed. I will never go back.Services: Pedicure

My mom and I had appointments and they made my mother wait in a chair with her feet in lukewarm water for about 40 minutes. No apology or acknowledgement. When I mentioned this as we checked out, still no apology or concern. If they didn't care about my mom, who waited kindly and politely while the staff ignored her despite my asking when she would be seen, I can't imagine they really have any concern for anyone coming through their doors.Pedicures were also mediocre.Service: Pedicure

Let's go over the "No"s. Not uber fancy. No booze. No dual tips, whatever those are. No dismissive attitudes or inattention. If your "Yes"es include WELL DONE, not CRAZY CRAY CRAY-type nails, pedis, wax & threading by down to earth people at a decent price, THIS IS your place. They have 6 nail stations and 7 pedicure chairs with massage. There are eleventybillion colors and MOST are stocked in gel and regular polish. They keep those go-to, industry standard colors in stock and order the newest, seasonal releases. I'm usually a short, square, neutral gal, but they will embellish me when I get a wild hair; stiletto, coffin, long, ombré, chrome, etc. There are a lot of clients like me who have standing appointments. There are normally 6-8 nail technicians working. They usually get walk ins seated within 5-30 minutes. If they can't, they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. They'll give you the best time to return and put you in the book. If you are reading this and decide to head their way, it's best to shoot them a call first. They'll most likely get you in and the heads up is appreciated.....better than arriving and being disappointed. The frustration wouldn't be one-sided. I know they hate turning people away. If all else fails, tell them you read Meredith's Yelp review and I wager they'll fit you in somehow. All the ladies are skilled. If you have ingrown toenails or tough skin/scar tissue, ask if Lynn or Raichel is available to your pedicure. I'm currently enjoying some post-pedi massage chair bliss while waiting to have my eyebrows threaded. I lady JUST walked in, received a welcome, and asked if she could get a pedicure. She was immediately seated in a pedicure chair and Kim is already getting to work. 'Nough said. Go get pretty.

I get dip manicures here, but the regular mani pedi is great too. I don't have to worry about my manicure chipping. It is a good idea to call ahead because they get busy!

If I could leave a negative star rating I would. I had got my nails the weekend previously from another salon which I was very pleased with but I broke a nail and needed a repair. First thing that went wrong is they didn't have a color to match my color I had. Second thing to go wrong was they didn't have the powder color ( which was clear but their clear wasn't the same clear?) and the final thing to go wrong is the woman working on my nails spent the whole hour I was there applying and and shaping and applying and shaping my nail I need fixed which ended up being a whole new nail keep in mind. I left that salon crying with bare nails and a half a** done nail that was supposedly have been a new one. Beware of this place PLEASE.

There was no wait when I went in on a Saturday afternoon. Love it! The massage chairs are newish and not tattered. The lady did a quick and efficient job on my pedicure. Regular pedicure was $28 which is very reasonable for Pasadena.

The ladies were very friendly, but the place wasn't the cleanest. The towels and chairs were stained.

I called to get an appointment for dipping powder with tips for myself and my sister and was told I could be accommodated... I showed up and 2pm and they didn't have enough staff to work on both of us so we had wait for each other which isn't a big deal. The lady was extremely rushed and my nails came out like crap. They are all different shapes and lengths and they are bumpy... my sisters are also bumpy and shitty looking. I called to ask if we could go in to have them redone and left a message. They never returned my phone call to confirm us going back the next day so needless to say we will not be returning to this salon. The quality and service has gone down hill and the prices are still high.

This salon came highly recommended by a friend. Needless to say, I was very happy with the wonderful service and how beautiful my gel nails and spa pedicure came out! I'll definitely be going back soon!

I happened to be in the area on Saturday & needed a gel manicure & a pedicure. Today is Monday and I did absolutely nothing all weekend and my thumb gel nail is cracked and chipped and 2 other nails are cracked in the gel. I noticed they had 2 sets of polishes- looks like they use cheap on walking & the good for the regulars. $70 down the drain. My ties look horrible & my hands look awful!

New to Pasadena and stopped at the first nail salon that I saw...HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! After four days my gel nails (white) and toes (pink) started getting black smudges. I've never had this happened before, they DEFINITELY use cheap products! I've had gel before and washed dishes, worked in my garden and cleaned my house and the polish never got black smudges or came off. They will NEVER get my money again. Don't waste your time or money at the place, they don't NAIL IT! If I could give a 0 I would.

UPDATE: Response to Rachel Cheung, Manager The implication that I'm making all of this up just to get a freebie is... disrespectful. Why would I drop $60 on a mani, then spend my 2-week vacation "picking" off the nails or hitting them so hard they pop off? Mani was on April 1. I was on vacation April 2 - 17. Calling during vacation is out of the question. Didn't get to call you until April 20 because I was working. That's why I took pics along the way... during April 2-17... so I could show what happened when I got back to LA. Your unwillingness to consider that maybe your tech just did a poor job speaks volumes about how the salon is run. It happens to the best of salons; there's no shame in that. The shame is ultimately on how a business chooses to handle it. Enough said.
