I didn't come here to look for fishing gear, but rather to buy clothes and miscellaneous goods.
The style of all the products was something that really appealed to me, the staff were very friendly and it was a great place to shop, both in terms of the comfort and the fun of shopping.

My first x in an orvis and very bad experience from tall white guy, the shorter dude was excellent the moment I walked in with curly hair. I asked about some pants and he asked, would you like to try a pair on? I responded, no I don't have time right now, he quickly grabbed the pants from my hands lol. I found the same pants online way cheaper. Racial profiling to the max in this store. I'm not white , pants only $109 I would have purchased them the next day, not a problem. Some people shouldn't be working with the public.

This morning I received some wonderful, five-star customer service from two ladies, Tammy and Rachel. Both listened to our issue, and took a great deal of time in assisting us to resolve the problem with something we had purchased from Orvis. Rachel even searched on Amazon to find us a second product to supplement the Orvis product we had already purchased. I must quickly add that the Orvis product needed something additional because of conditions in our home, and not a failing on the part of the Orvis product itself.
I almost never experience this level of dedication from anyone these days. I hope the Orvis HR department does something nice for both ladies. Thank you. Paul Campo

Take care of your customers past or present!I’ve tried REPEATEDLY, to get off their mailing list! I bought in 2019 through a job and left that job AND HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL IN GETTING OFF THEIR MAILING LIST EVER SINCE!I just asked them a few days ago again - after receiving a “thank you for your order” when I had not ordered - to remove me from the account it was attached to. I was assured they would! And just a few days later: “Thank you for your order!” AGAIN! Please disconnect my email to this account LIKE YOU HAVE PROMISED TO DO MORE THAN TWICE!Maybe they don’t care about my inconvenience because I didn’t give them any business - but you never know who you’re messing with. I NEVER WILL NOW shop Orvis! I will continue to avoid your merchandise; like I have done since you started ignoring my requests for my email to be removed from this Account OVER 4 YEARS AGO! … $ have the POWER NOT to go to you. I know, harder to feel, but I also have influence into choosing alternatives; which are out there and who exceed your products on many levels; AND which I have been BUYING INSTEAD OF YOUR PRODUCTS. It’s that simple. As a professional costume buyer for over 25 YEARS, my advice is Don’t ignore your customers! Annoyed ones won’t come back! And some of us spend A LOT - elsewhere!
