What an awful place to do business. I cannot recommend Skyla to others. The worst example of incompetent business practices just occurred. My cd expired and I found a much better rate at another banking institution. The other bank faxed my transfer request form to Skyla in Pasadena. Skyla "lost" the fax. So the transfer would not have been processed by Skyla. Worse is that the good cd rate would have expired at the new bank. But I called Skyla to inquire if they received the fax to transfer my money. "No", Skyla said they had not received it. Because I called an insisted that the fax had been sent, Skyla found the fax in the shedding file!! Some incompetent Skyla employee decided to shed my transfer request form. That is awful business practice. I notice that other Yelp ratings by Skyla customers is poor (only 2 of 5 *) , so my experience is not unique. Avoid Skyla is my recommendation.

I’ve been a member of this credit union for so many years, The service was excellent. I never considered going else where. Now I don’t know what’s happening maybe the merge, but customer service is gone. The response to request is like whatever. Now I feel like I’m dealing with the DMV. VERY DISAPPOINTING.I’m considering taking my business some where else.

When I first joined the credit union they were very professional outstanding very awesome when I have to file bankruptcy that's when the credit union became very nasty they closed my account and it is a person that works in collections that holds all the bankruptcy accounts her name is Catherine she's very rude obnoxious and very unprofessional I don't recommend no one and I mean no one getting an account or dealing with them on that type of level. Thank God I did a refinance with another bank and I'm so glad to leave parson Federal credit Union they are the worst credit Union and I mean the worst and I'm telling you take your chances if you want

After I joined the and got access to the banking program, I found the on line banking website glitchy. Once you are registered, you log in with your username and password. You are then presented with another window that states your information does not match. after re-entering it a few times, you are locked out. And you don't know for how long. Well after a day passed, I logged in again. The second window opens and says my information is incorrect. But, instead of re-entering the my info, I clicked the submit button and found it opened the program to the home page without a problem. I guess that that must be the credit union's secret rite of passage, if you figure it out good, if you don't.....Next, I went to my only account and saw my deposit. I also wanted to see that my external bank account was able to confirm that my credit union account info was correct by them sending a small amount to it my credit union account. I wasn't able to see any transactions. So, from there I went to the Transfer Money menu. It opened, I submitted my external account info, got it verified by the Credit union system and got ready to begin, when the window closes and another opens stating it closed my session due to inactivity. After, by luck, I clicked the back button thru my browser & the home page opened. I went to the Transfer Money option and clicked the "From Account", only to find it wouldn't show my external account. I called IT support, talked to a tech who had to put me on hold for a bit while he researched the problem. After a minute or so a recording stated that no one was available and that I should leave a msg. I did so with a call back number. I got a call, but before I could pick up by the 3rd ring, the caller hung up. I tried calling customer service to see how to wire transfer funds, instead of transferring funds. I got a msg saying that everyone was busy, sorry for delay, etc. So I wait, like we all do, until someone becomes available. Well, after a little time goes by a recording comes on and says no one is available and hangs up. I'm done!

Horrible customer service. Misinformation. Lack of care for their customers. I was told one thing by one representative, then another, neither were correct. This used to be a great bank, but now very disappointing. Do not use, there are several other credit unions that care more about their members.

I love this credit union. Been a client for more than 30 years. Very customized and personal service. Never met in person, but they have always handled our needs from a distance, even living abroad.

These guys are a joke!I've never had the ball dropped by so many Loan agents and customer service reps at a credit union. Bradley the "senior auto loan processor" told me "I'm old school I don't know how to do a secure email"... Stephanie took 3 days to relay my info to the loan processing department. If your looking for a secure and timely loan look elsewhere!!

Cant get ahold of them except within a narrow window on week days, maybe consider a hotline that is open for at least regular business hours?

I, like many was laid off due to COVid. I have two loans with this credit union which I maintained in a positive status with no late payments or delinquencies. I became employed earlier this year and as I found myself getting back on track I requested my loans to be modified so that I could lower my payments and survive. I was approved for one with no issue then when I asked for the status of the other from the loan officer my requests went unanswered. I then received a letter stating that my request for one loan was denied. I asked for further explanation and received a response from the credit union'a senior management team member Linda Gurule informing me that my request was in fact denied and the reason given differed from the original reasons listed on the denial notice. Her email stated that I failed to meet the criteria for a workout loan approval. I asked her for the criteria and received a very cold response back that stated she apologized for not being able to extend me the "relief" that I was seeking and stated that any of my further requests could be sent to the banking office and attention to the credit unions supervisory committee. She never explained the reason for varying denials nor the criteria for the credit unions work out loans. I had to open a case with the NCUA and filing suit with BBB and CUNA. As a responsible individual who understands the integrity of credit and positive repayment I was flabbergasted by the credit unions lack of regard for its membership.
