Salon Xia now residing in the upscale Andalucia Complex in the heart of the Pasadena Playhouse District. After seventeen years at its former location, Mark felt it was time for a change. “What initially attracted me to this property,” Mark explains, “is all the openness of the space. All the windows and the beautiful nature light that we get here throughout the course of the day. It drew me in.”
While the form of the new location inspired Mark, Claudia, as co-owner, has brought her insight for function. Together they have used their combined knowledge of over twenty-five years in the industry to collaborate with local architect, Clay Holden, on creating Salon Xia’s welcoming, loft-like interior.
