“Both my kids attended Mentor Preschool between 2014 and 2020. It was a safe, warm, clean, and inviting environment. The teachers and staff were kind and cared so much for our kids. They both have fond memories of their time there. One thing my kids talk about till this day is the amazing meals Mr. GJ prepared for them.”

We love our experience there, as they get to experience all the themed rooms which helps in preparing them for TK. The teachers and staff are all very friendly and supportive. Our kids have grown immensely in all developmental areas and we would recommend kids klub in the future.”

“B'Nai Simcha is a magical place. If you're looking for a preschool that feels like an extension of family and to be part of a loving, joyful, supportive community, this is your spot! Our son had been to a few preschools prior to us discovering B'Nai and hands down, this is the best preschool I've experienced in Pasadena area. It's play-based, nurturing, has a wonderful facility and the director, Carina, is simply awesome. She really cares about every child and about early childhood education. All the teachers are so caring and treat our son with kindness and respect. He loves them. I can't say enough good things about this place. Picking a preschool can be so hard and nerve-wracking, but I really encourage you to check this preschool out :) Oh and they just started a meal program! It's amazing.”

“Hands down the best school in PUSD. Chinese immersion is the future. That doesn't make it any less American. Most of the students come in as non Chinese speakers and a very large group of the students aren't even ethnically Chinese. Had a few principle changes in the last few years and during COVID, this school did so well. There are always problems with all schools but now Ms. Tucker is a principle that listens to all parents. They FINALLY celebrate Asian American Heritage month. If you want your student to succeed in PUSD (which really isn't a great school district), this is the best school to go to.”

Not only have they helped him get over his separation concerns daily, but they are so attentive to each child's needs, and very communicative and responsive when it comes to progress updates and questions. From the moment we walked into this school, I knew there was something special about it. The warmth, calmness, and genuine care from the staff immediately gave me peace of mind during a season where that felt priceless. Stepha and Cat were absolutely incredible with my daughter. They were so calm, patient, loving, and welcoming—not just to her, but to me too. You can tell they truly care about the children and treat them like family. Watching my baby grow comfortable, happy, and excited to see them every day meant everything to me. And Carolyn, the director, is truly one of a kind. She welcomes every single child by name each morning with so much compassion and love. You can feel how deeply she cares about the families there. It never felt transactional—it felt like leaving my daughter with people who genuinely loved her. This daycare was worth every penny. It gave me complete peace of mind knowing my daughter was safe, happy, nurtured, and loved while I was away. By the end, she would literally get excited when I took her out of the car in the mornings to go inside—and as a mom, there’s no greater reassurance than that. We will always be so grateful for the love and care they gave our daughter during such an important stage of her life.”

“I as a boy went here,it shaped my charisma, and social skills, I would recommend this school as a kid to other families. The social skills I learned there have helped me through life and in many problems in my kitty career after going here. The teachers here on fantastic and include everybody. Very safe environment for young children. My favorite part about cottage was the paint, it sparked my inner creativity that I have today, when I went there I felt that it was a safe environment to explore different ideas kids would have. Am just a boy by the way.”

“As a first time parent exploring various preschools, I choose this school for my kid for their care, responsibility to kids behavioral health and how they deal with different situations with kids. The teachers are well trained in the above. I love their balanced focus on academics and play time. By the way, they have an outdoor play area in the back. My kid started here at an age of 2.5 and loves going to her school since then. Teacher Rahini, the owner of the school, has a well prepared curriculum and schedule they follow. My kid started tracing letters early as 3 years old which I really liked. They have all sorts of educational activities, crafts, coloring and book reading along with outdoor playtime, through out the entire day. Teacher Bertha potty trained her and encouraged us to do the same at home. And I love the way they give updates by the end of day. My kid loves all her teachers, starting from her first preschool teacher Bertha to teachers Nancy, Randika and Antonette. I would highly recommend this school for parents with infants and toddlers.”

“I happily will be the first to review here. After two terrible prior experiences, we finally found a wonderful Preschool- CEC CALTECH!.Our gal has been here five months and is flourishing. She is high energy and is really benefitting from the outdoor classroom. The back yard is incredible! It is huge and has a sandpit, basketball court, bike area, music area, garden, reading area, and eating area. There are also two houses for the two classes to use and for nap time. I feel that there is a consistent philosophy of child development here that encourages exploration and independence. Love the place, and really recommend it to those of you who have kids that need lots of physical activity.”

“We've been with Discovery Days since they first opened in Bellevue. Now, 3 kids and 7 years in, I can't express enough how grateful I am for this school. All of my kids attended since they were infants with one as early as 12 weeks old! You can rest assured your baby is in good hands. Each time we move up a class, it's a bitter sweet moment for all of us as the connections the children have made with the teachers go beyond being taken care of.Every teacher we've had was not only highly skilled but also genuinely invested in the well-being and development of my kids. “It's been two months since my young toddler has enrolled and I couldn't be happier. This is a very warm and loving facility where the kids learn through lots of fun. The curriculum is designed thoughtfully and adjusted monthly to meet the children where they are, and there is a lot of space and resources to make sure the children are seen and cared for in their own ways. My LO has adjusted well and I also learn through monthly parent education activities (e.g. mindfulness for parents and toddlers). Not to mention the affordability! Overall, we feel really lucky to be part of this community.”

“the best. That's what this school is. I speak what I truly feel about the school. Before I entered NHS, I was very shy and weak in character. In my previous school, I had been constantly bullied and my self esteem was low. But when I came here, everything changed. The staff welcomed me with open arms and minds, and the students were very respectful and kind to me. The school encouraged me to work hard because the teachers loved education and were flexible with me. There is so much you can do here, which only shows what your true potential is. The school taught me responsibility to tending my homework as well. My math teacher implanted the love of math in me at a young age, and I am ahead in class. The administration insures an environment where a person can fly. Thank you, New Horizon, and thanks to its tolerant and just staff. And thank you to the kind students who attend it. “Had an amazing experience here i miss it, i was there for t-k throughout 5th grade. I enjoyed all of my teachers you could see that they cared a lot about us students if i were to ever have an upset day my teachers would take me outside and talk to me it made me feel loved and that I could trust them... I had a connection with all my teachers they all had patients for everyone! We would do weekly assemblies and performances, we also had a green team run by on of the teachers (Mrs. Grabis) she was amazing i was a student of hers for a while i not only learned how to be green but to learn to interact with my classmates!! The janitors were the best hands down every 5th grader that i knew was friends with at least one janitor, we always thanked them and showed that we appreciated everything that they did for us we would give them fist bumps and even hugs before holidays. the staff that are out on the playground are cool my friends and I became friends with all of them we always talked and had good laughs, we really got to know the staff and it was amazing to talk to everyone. Still can't get over this school i had a blast!”
