“The school offers many programs in different fields. The instructors and staff are friendly and very helpful. They really care about the students and make sure they have everything they need to succeed. I had an overall great experience at this school and in the pharmacy technician course.”

“BBCA is a hidden gem on the Westside. We have been sending our son here for over 1.5 years, and he has truly thrived since day one.
When he started, our son was a late talker and a very picky eater. The teachers have been absolutely amazing—loving, patient, and compassionate every step of the way. The school doesn't feel like a business; it feels like a family and a close-knit community. The staff has always been incredibly accommodating and supportive of both our son and our family.
The growth we've seen has been remarkable. After 1.5 years, he won't stop talking, knows all of his letters, can count to around 40, and has become a social, confident, and well-mannered child. The teachers do a wonderful job of encouraging kindness and empathy while also helping children learn how to express their needs and feelings in a healthy way.
The school is very clean, the facilities are modern and well maintained, and the playground is by far the largest we've seen at any preschool in the area, thanks to the church's spacious backyard.
After touring a dozen preschools in the neighborhood, we are so grateful that we found BBCA. It has been the perfect place for our son, and we fully intend to enroll our daughter here when she's old enough. We couldn't recommend this school more highly.”
“From the moment I registered, I knew I made the right choice. The teachers are knowledgeable, passionate, and truly committed to student success. They explain concepts clearly, use practical examples, and always take the time to answer questions. The learning experience has been outstanding—highly recommended!”

“Well, I like the school because of how attentive and friendly the teachers are to the students. I don't speak English so they try to talk to me in Spanish.⊂(◉‿◉)つ”
“An absolutely amazing school - a magical place for little ones! Both my children attend Happy Birch and I couldn't wish for a better place. Beautiful space, fantastic teachers.. just the best of the best.”
“I resisted Transcendental Meditation for nearly five years and was convinced it wasn’t for me. I finally received the course as a Christmas gift in 2025 — and it has truly changed my life.
I told Danny Goodman upfront that I have severe ADHD and didn’t believe I could sit still for 20 minutes. He met me with patience and calm confidence and showed me how to work with the meditation instead of fighting myself. That made all the difference.
Since learning TM, I’ve experienced deep emotional release — many times tears quietly stream down my face during meditation, and I come out feeling reset and grounded. This practice has helped me tremendously while coping with the overwhelming insurance process after my home was damaged in the Palisades fire. My sleep is noticeably better, and after my morning meditation I now feel clear about my priorities for the day.
I’m deeply grateful for Danny’s guidance and compassion. I highly recommend learning TM with him, especially if you think you “can’t meditate” — I used to believe the same.”

“My daughter was at Just Like Moms full-time from aged 2 until kindergarten and starting in 2014. We still talk about how great it was for her. I cannot believe I haven't written a review. It was such a special place. It is fun, educational, well rounded, social, structured and the teachers and owners were/are so caring. They offered so many activities and their programs/recitals were really amazing. I interviewed 12 other preschools and I made the right decision. My review feels generic in comparison to our experience. I trusted them and they treated my daughter so well, it was obvious they truly cared for her. Elementary school never measured up and she went to a 10/10 school. I'm so grateful for Just Like Moms, the didn't just provide childcare. They gave my daughter the attention and care individualed for her needs and our family needs too.”
“🌟 RLC is a warm, safe, and fun environment where kids learn, explore, and grow every day. My children always comes home happy and excited to learn! God bless the providers and Administrators 🌈✨”

Not only do they do their best to provide assistance and referrals whenever possible, They also go out of their way to make any experience with Them caring and genuine. Honestly, I would give Them 10 Stars if possible!”

“I can't say enough about this lovely little school- our son loved it, we loved it. The social/emotional child led play based structure was exactly what our child needed after being inside for a year because of the pandemic. Gilbert and Wendy care enormously for the children, as do the other parents. It is extremely bittersweet to be moving on....If you haven't found your village yet, look no further!”
“Crestwood is SPECIAL! In a city full of pre schools, most of which are great, non stood out to us like Crestwood. Our now 9-year-old daughter started there just before Covid. Her experience was not typical because of the pandemic but the teachers and director took the initiative to make it work and work well. The school went digital for just a few weeks and then had a plan to bring everyone back. Most of Crestwood is outdoors, which was such a advantage to us while all of this was happening (and really at all other times).
Kids and teachers went back with masks, and it was like any other time at Crestwood, just amazing! The kids didn’t mind the masks, and it was just the new norm for the next year+.
Crestwood is a Co-op where parents volunteer once a month and I have to admit was not sure I would be able to do at first but by the time our daughter graduated I could get enough, so much that I was concerned at her next school I would not be allowed to volunteer as much as I wanted to, which turned out to not be the case…
Once we had our son (who is there now), we had our daughter enrolled at her current school in the complete opposite direction, but knew we wanted him to have the same experience she did at Crestwood. Convince was never part of our consideration, it just had to be Crestwood!
He loves it there as much as our daughter did and now we are back at what we feel is our second home and our community.
The teachers and director are truly the best of the best at their careers, and they love these children as if they are their own.
Any opportunity that our 9 year old has to go back to Crestwood when she is off of school she jumps at, and still can’t get enough.
I truly believe there is no better pre-school, and no better teachers or school director anywhere on earth. It’s just amazing!”

“Lyric Preschool is truly a local gem. It’s one of the most diverse and inclusive preschools in the Silver Lake–Los Feliz area. When my daughter was just 9 months old, we toured many preschools, but Lyric immediately stood out for its genuine sense of belonging.
As a mixed-race child, my daughter truly feels at home here. The owner and teachers are warm, professional, and deeply caring, creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. She is learning so much—and having fun every single day.
While the building may look modest from the outside, the school offers spacious outdoor play areas for both classes, plus a lovely garden space. And the kids’ themed parties are absolutely delightful—creative, joyful, and always keeping parents pleasantly surprised.
We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Lyric community. 💛”
“I was on vacation in California and took my six year old daughter here for a day. She had so much fun exploring, inventing and playing with the other kids.
When we woke up the next day, the first thing my daughter said was, “I want to go back to Imaginology.”
We had plans to go to Huntington Gardens, but instead we took her back to Imaginology and dropped her off.
The adults had a nice day at the gardens and when we went to pick up my daughter from Imaginology she didn’t want to leave.
My daughter is usually very shy and anxious around new places and people. The fact that she wanted to go back the next day and was okay with being left there without me speaks volumes.
The staff is very friendly and professional.
The philosophy and activities at Imaginology changed my life and perspective on parenting/childhood development for the better.
I would for sure 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun day with their kid.
I would also for sure 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking to learn more about the power of imagination and play. These are such an important concepts to understand in our modern high tech cookie cutter society.
If we had one of these in Michigan, we would visit it at least every month.”
“Walking into this school can transport anyone from the reality of being in downtown L.A.
Wonderfully composed music being played by all ages echo's throughout the halls of this music education institution. It's rather incredible to see so much music talent from the dedicated students that call this place home for their abilities. I have seen teachers mentoring students providing guidance on playing various instruments. There are many student ensembles here. Dedicated teachers and students are the norm here. The school also advertises free concerts to showcase the magical work that happens at the school. The venues on site for these events are designed to provide the best acoustic sound. During the weekends the school is bustling with activity. Beyond the music, I have also noticed ballet dancers.
Security staff is also welcoming and reassures parents that all the children here are looked after. Every security staff member meet here is welcoming yet also confirms patrons reasons for being present. Parking for families is provided by the school. Due note that parking is limited based on the popularity of the school and its large attendance.”

“As a parent whose child has attended Beverlywood the last two years, I can’t say enough good things about this preschool. My son absolutely loves his classmates and teachers. He is in the half immersion class and understands Spanish already. The school is quick to communicate any needs or issues arising with parents. Many parents whose child has since graduated have told me their kids were well ahead of the other kids academically in the kindergarten classes and they credit Beverlywood for that. So happy this was my son’s first school experience and as a first time parent, it was so important to feel like I was leaving him in good hands and I always felt that here. We will miss this school so much next year when he goes to kindergarten.”

“Our experience with Groza Academy has been nothing short of exceptional. For a family that competes all year in horse jumping circuits, it fits our stringent educational goals with our dynamic calendar and all of its time constraints. The in-home knowledge and patience of the professors is bar none. We demand mastery in all of our endeavors and Groza Academy aligns with our ideas of how education should be efficient and dedicated to each student uniquely. We are thankful for Groza and everyone that works there to help in providing the very best with coordinating calendars and education.”
“My two kids have really enjoyed their experience at PLAY. Both made friends, learned a lot, and had their many needs taken care of along the way. All the teachers are kind, flexible, and left a positive impression on my son and daughter. Highly recommend for families of babies, toddlers and TKers in the Silver Lake area!”

“A true school of the esoteric. An accepting, friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Like a second home. There's also a variety of useful and hard to find ritual items and books. Love and light.”
“I couldn't imagine a better preschool for our children. Tracie, consistently creates fun, educational activities that make learning through play a joy. She goes above and beyond, often organizing special events like petting zoos, bubble machines, gardening in the vegetable garden, cooking, yoga, and music classes, along with hosting special activities around holidays. My 4-year-old daughter, who has been here for two years, often tells me, "Miss Tracie already taught me that!" Enrolling my 4-month-old son in the infant room with Emilie and Maritza was made easy knowing he would be in a loving and nurturing environment. I'm very happy to have found First Friends; we love it here.”

“I am a Fusion alumni parent as my daughter spent 2 years at the academy. When, after some turbulent times, she started 11th grade in Pasadena in October 2017, the initial plan was she would just catch up with the curriculum she needed support with in order to re-join the mainstream school circuit in February 2018. However the innovative approach of Fusion, the amazing staff and the unique one-on-one teaching allowed my daughter to excel in her studies so much and enjoy going to school, that in the end she never left, stayed on through 12th grade and graduated from High School at Fusion in May 2019. With an excellent GPA she subsequently applied for colleges on the East Coast and was awarded a scholarship to study Performing Arts in the Big Apple.
Fusion advocates a groundbreaking, individualised approach to education. All schools should be like it.”

“The school is run by Ms Angela with a wealth of experience in managing preschools. The teachers are amazing. Ms. Viro was great for our son when he was 3-4 years old. Ms. Carla and Ms. Xochi, our son’s current 4-5 year old teachers, are amazing, loving, caring, and thoughtful. Academic preparation is very good. Kids are well prepared for kindergarten and beyond.
The playground and classrooms are well equipped for kids.
Families who go to the school are all engaged one way or another which makes CCC is a wonderful community for all.
The school offers extended hours (7:30 am - 6 pm) which is great for working parents.
You can opt in with a third party that provides high quality organic lunch.
There are several extracurricular classes that you can register for such as Kong Fu, Soccer, Science, and Arts. There is even a snow play day at school in the winter!
There is always a security person at the door which offers a peace of mind.
Overall, I highly recommend CCC to all parents.”
“Nancy, Miss Ale, and Miss Jennie have all been wonderful and caring with my son, and overall we’ve had a great experience here. My son may cry some mornings about not wanting to go, but by pickup time he usually doesn’t want to leave lol, which says a lot about how comfortable and happy he is there. The only improvement I’d like to see is more consistency with posting pictures and updates on the app. There will be a week or two with great pic updates, then a week or two with little to no pictures posted. Other than that, we’ve been very happy overall.”
