Rich did a great job! He Was thorough in his in his work.
I like he offers a concierge approach to customer service.
He gives good instructions for upkeep as well.
If you have a Vespa, he’s the guy I’d bring too.
I definitely recommend his services.

I recently took my vespa to Rich for a tune up and several maintainance repairs. Rich is very knowledgeable about his craft and takes his time to explain the different needs of a vespa repair in detail. He was consistent with deadlines and his work is thorough and detailed. I recommend Scooter Doctor if you live around the Pasadena area and need somebody fully experienced to service your vespa.

Scooter Doc (aka Rich) is great to work with. He’s friendly, honest and transparent. I needed a battery replacement and he fixed that as well as a general fixing (he even put gas in for me before returning). I hadn’t driven it in several months so it needed a little TLC. He even spent some time explaining to me how my bike works and best practices for keeping it running well. Prices are very fair and he even coordinates pick up and drop off for a nominal fee.

5 stars is way to little to give to Rich. He gives you 10 star service!! This is the best mechanic I’ve ever been to, period. There is no one else that I’ve gone to that has been as transparent to me like Rich has been. And the service for the price? Unbelievable especially in this economy. I brought in my girlfriend’s 2007 LX 150 this Sunday and he told me max it would take a week. I just got a call saying to pick it up tomorrow which is Wednesday!!!! That’s unheard of! His customer service was above and beyond. Rich called me every time he found something new to discuss and took the time and effort to explain if it’s important or optional. Never once did he try to push something. I will definitely come back to him with future checkups or repairs. Anyone who reads this, he is the man.

I recently purchased a 2003 Piaggio. It had been sitting in a garage for 5 years. I searched for a mobile mechanic and found Scooter doc! I was so blessed to have done so. Rich was prompt, courteous, careful and knew his stuff! He got my scooter up and running within no time and was flexible on pickup date. I highly recommend Rich at ScooterDoc!!

We called the phone number having questions and issues with our 2 vespas. Got professional advice and information on how to fix the issues we were experiencing. Was super helpful and patient on call staying on the phone for almost 25 minutes due to our distance being outside of the LA area. Thank you!

Rich really knows his shit im in Miami and I called to get to help on my chinese scooter help and was more than happy to help me out I called and bugged him multiple times and he never declined me help thank you very much.

when I first called Rich we talked thoroughly about my scooter problem and he agreed to try to fix my scooter's starting problem. he picked up my bike promptly and I got my bike back,fixed in 1 day! my bike was properly serviced and I can ride it once again. I would recommend you give Rich an opportunity to fix your bike. make that first call and you will know he's a professional.

I brought my Vespa in for repairs and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Richard was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He diagnosed the issue quickly, kept me updated throughout the process, and got my Vespa back to me running better than ever.
The quality of the work really shows — it feels like new again! On top of that, he was friendly and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. It’s not always easy to find a shop you can trust, but I’m glad I found this one.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants honest, skilled service for their scooter!

In a world where too often you call a mechanic and they simply don’t have time to hear the symptoms or deal with your “novice explanation” of what is wrong with your scooter, I was lucky enough to come across a person like “Rich, the Scooter Doctor.” Rich take the time to lend me his 24 years of knowledge and troubleshooting which enabled me to further troubleshoot the situation on my own with the help of numerous YouTube videos. Luckily my scooter is running excellent.

Just picked up my 2001 ETF for an oil change and Richard alerted me to a lot of improvements that could be made with transparent pricing. It was ready less than 2 weeks later and road like a whole new bike. Honest, quality work with great pricing and customer service. The only place I’ll be going back to!
