I'm in the same situation as a few other folks who posted here: Spenga closed and I have over $400 worth of classes still left on my account that has not been refunded. No one is answering my messages at the corporate level. I've been in touch with BBB and will be filing a chargeback with my credit card. What frauds.

This location closed and is refusing to refund people who purchased a package. Very unprofessional.

I have been getting charged for a membership that I previously cancelled. When I tried to go back online to cancel my membership AGAIN, the website says no account has been found. So, there is no way for me to cancel my membership on my end now that I don't "have an account" even though I never got rid of it, just the membership. I have been trying to contact this store, customer service, corporate, and still no one has reached back. How much trouble could they get in for charging me with no account available?? Do yourself a favor and don't get a membership here.

I started coming to SPENGA in 2019 shortly after they opened. I’ve enjoyed the classes and the instructors are all great, but my experience today was pretty disappointing. When I showed up there were no iPads to check-in on and no front desk staff to manually check-in people. With no way to check-in there were no bike assignments and so we weren’t able to see our zones during the spin portion of the workout. Since there were no other staff present other than the instructor, this also meant there was no one to clean equipment after each portion of the class. In the end, some very nice members volunteered to help out our instructor, Joanna, by monitoring the front door after class had started to let-in any late-comers before locking the doors and also cleaning the equipment we used during the workout. It’s pretty shameful that this is the type of service and treatment that paying customers would receive.I really appreciate Joanna for maintaining her composure and still leading us through our workout despite these circumstances. Joanna is an amazing instructor and she deserves all the kudos for everything she has done to make workouts at SPENGA truly rewarding. Joanna has given each of us so much support on our fitness journeys and it’s disappointing that she wasn’t given the support to do her job today as I know she is one of the reasons that has made SPENGA such a worthwhile experience for myself and others.

Fraudulently charged me for a membership I had cancelled. Spenga, of course, could not find the paperwork. I sent them the email I had confirming the cancellation and still have not received a refund. Beware.

Listen the workout is fun, Joana is amazing. I have a big problem with their customer service and inconsistency. I was a member for a year and the turn around with both instructors and personnel is high. Haven’t been in months keep getting charged and they claim it’s because of policies but they never follow their own policy when it comes to retention. I just want to stop being charged $200 a month for something I don’t go to anymore and no one ever gets back to you. Haven’t been in since October, why is this still an issue in February. The high turnaround is an issue because what one person tells you is going to change the next week because it’s a new person.

Finally, I find the thing! Okay, so I love group fitness classes, as I would rather die than roll around alone sweating on my living room carpet, therefore multiple pounds of Covid weight have been adorning my frame, and did I mention the baby that I had during lockdown? After the dust settled, I ventured out to Core Power Yoga, which mysteriously did nothing for my body after daily sessions for months (it could absolutely be my total lack of energy in a sauna, not blaming the place). I tried in vain to rejoin my old Zumba studios, which had closed, and I did do some Pop Physique, which I love, but was very aware of the lack of cardio and strength in my life...I walked past those stressful looking cross fit barn places with men lifting heavy things and grunting and knew in my soul that I needed it, but would never, ever, do it. Running from station to station crazily in a circuit is a step too far. Then I walked by SPENGA. I am now maybe twenty classes in, and it's time to review. I really, really love it! Basically, as everyone has said below, doing something for 20 minutes makes you give it your best shot. I don't like spinning for an hour, but I sure like 20 minutes of trying to hit the zones on the screen to music. It's in dim lights which is awesome, you can make crazy faces, and no one sees. Took me a minute to figure out that I should up the resistance on the bike to hit the mythical 'sweet spot' but I've figured that out now. I really like the strength part... you walk over to your own POD with all the stuff and you DO NOT HAVE TO walk wildly around a room, you just stand there, and there's an instructor AND videos to follow for each exercise. I am doing things I would never do, just through the shame of being watched! My arms are really toning up already. I'll have to try a bit harder for the mid section but that's on me. And I feel it coming. I can do a far bigger range of movement already...Then you go to the yoga mat. You do a reasonable flow for ten minutes and then some nice twists, and chavasana. It's an opportunity to work out any body kinks during that section, as no one is hassling you to follow along exactly if you find a body spot you want to keep stretching.I emerge feeling very exercised, but not exhausted, with at least an hour of active fitbit minutes, when power yoga sometimes gave me about 3. The facility itself is clean, sweet smelling, has free parking and everyone's really nice and welcoming. Yep, this one's a winner!

I had done HIIT workouts for years. After experiencing a couple of injuries I had to seek out another kind of workout. So happy that I discovered SPENGA! 20 minutes of spin (easy on the knees)- 20 minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of yoga. I have to say that the yoga will likely take me longer to masterthan the first two:-) Long story short - I love it! Look forward to going to each class. Staff is helpful. Great selection of class times to fit my schedule. Looking forward to getting stronger and more fit.

This is such a great studio with amazing trainers! They’re always so sweet, energetic, and best of all they push you to your limit! I love the format of cycling, strength training, and finishing off with yoga at the end. This is my go to place! I highly recommend it!

I came here after a friend recommended it to me. She is a regular, and has say great things about this place! The studio was so kind to offer a free class, and I came back using Classpass! STUDIOVery clean! There are lockers available base on your bike number. There are also showers on site. WORKOUTIt is 20 minute spin, 20 minute strength, and 20 minute yoga. You can keep track of your stats on the monitor. Once spin is done, you move on to strength which consist of TRX, weights, etc. depending on the instructor. Lastly, you get to do your final stretch with yoga. A lot of people like this format, since you get cardio + lifting involved + yoga as the cooldown. PARKINGThere is free 90 minute parking available in the parking structure. The first time I went, the parking machine wasn't working but the staff quickly resolved the issue. INSTRUCTORSI've taken Emily and Joanne. Both are good instructors, very clear and motivating! Instructions are clear.

I love that this studio incorporates three different types of fitness into one class. If you looking to get the most out of your workout in one hour, this is a great place to try. Everyone starts at their own level and so there’s no pressure to keep up with others. It’s you vs you. The instructors are all amazing. They take time to talk with you about your fitness goals, how to prevent injuries and anything that ends up coming up in conversation. I’ve met great people here - everyone supports each other’s fitness journey and it’s a great community.

They make workout fun and you’ll love this place after you come here!Cardio isn’t that bad if you just need to give it all for 29 mins, then strength training is great with different equipment, ending with 20 mins yoga is ???

Dream workouts do exist. Spenga's 60-minute blend of spin, strength and yoga is the exact variety I had been looking to incorporate into my daily exercise routine. The class was equal parts challenging and fun. My instructor, Joanna, created an upbeat, comfortable and inclusive environment. I would 100% recommend trying Spenga if you're looking for a well rounded, easy-to-commit-to workout!
